Chapter 7

Chapter 7: Through the Book

It has been three months since she came here. During this time, Shuxin slowly explored the surroundings and got a thorough understanding of the specific situation of the Liulin Brigade, and received a shocking piece of bad news.

She wears a book! Yes, it was a clichéd plot, traveling through a book, and two books at that. She even thought she had come to a parallel world.

She has lived here for three months, and her family members' concern for her is not fake, including her grandfather, the head of the family, her fierce and serious grandmother, her loving brothers and sisters, and her dear parents.

They are all living people, not paper figures in novels. Shuxin doesn't dwell on these things. She just wants to know that they are real.

The protagonist's life has little to do with their Liu family, otherwise why did Shuxin only realize she was traveling through a book three months after she came here? In fact, her family members are not important characters in the two books.

They were all cannon fodder. They were gone after less than two episodes. She played a driving role, and she herself never appeared.

Her sister is a cannon fodder wife in a romantic period drama called "The Wife of the Era".

The male protagonist is Liu Fu, the second son of the Liu family from the next village. He went to the island to serve as a soldier at the age of 18, and was promoted all the way and married a beautiful wife.

The heroine is the youngest daughter of a wealthy family in 껗海. She is beautiful and delicate. Due to the times and her sensitive identity, she marries the hero to protect her family. They are a happy couple who get married first and then fall in love.

And her cousin Shulan is the obstacle to the heroine's happy marriage, the kind that can't be removed and can only be bypassed.

Her sister would be taken back by the Liu family in exchange for food to be a child bride during the great famine. The Liu family was quite kind and did not treat Shulan harshly.

When it was time to consummate the marriage, the eldest son of the Liu family died unexpectedly. Seeing that Shulan was still a virgin, the Liu family planned to let the second son, Liu Fu, marry her.

But Liu Fu didn't want to do it at this time. Before Liu Lao Da died, he wanted Shu Lan, but his parents disagreed, saying that she should be given to his eldest brother, and when his eldest brother died, he would have to throw the junk to him.

The Liu family did not suffer any loss to Shulan. They planned to let her recover her health and give birth to the eldest grandson of the Liu family as soon as possible, so Shulan was in a good situation.

Liu Fu had never been to the mountain village before. Shulan was good-looking and he liked her. But as soon as his elder brother died, he despised Shulan and thought she was a slut and refused to marry her.

Liu Fu took advantage of the conscription period to join the army, and lived a happy life from then on. But he didn't do anything. Before he left for the army, he took advantage of the chaos to take Shulan's body.

This Shulan was innocent and had to stay in the Liu family to work like a slave. The Liu couple began to vent their anger on Shulan, saying that she was incompetent and could not be tied down by men. Only when she became pregnant a month later did they stop saying those ugly things.

In this way, cousin Shulan stayed in her hometown to take care of Liu Fu's parents and sister, and also raised Liu Fu's son with great effort.

As for Liu Fu, his career was on the rise and he was very unhappy marrying a lady from a wealthy family. He didn't care about the life and death of his parents at home, nor did he care about what would happen to Shulan after she passed away.

More than 20 years later, Liu's parents died, Shulan also died of overwork, and Shulan's son went to look for his father. He then said he didn't mean it.

Bah, you didn't mean it. Before you left, you slept with Shulan, and not only did you sleep with her, you ran away and didn't send a letter home for several years. You called him a beast and praised him.

With such a big son between the male and female protagonists, the female protagonist would definitely not turn a blind eye. Even at the age of forty or fifty, the two of them still play the game of chasing each other and hiding from each other.

Shulan's son is the person who is responsible for trying to soothe the heroine's heart and making the hero and heroine experience an emotional crisis. Later, he is sent back to his hometown by Liu Fu. The heroine and her children will definitely not let him go and give him a chance to share their father's resources.

So later, Shulan's son died of illness alone in the village, with no one to collect his body, and it was the state that helped to handle his funeral.

It was a miserable thing. Shuxin cursed in her heart and felt so disgusted.

You are a naval officer, and no one will believe you if you can't explain the situation in your hometown clearly. You just want someone to take care of your parents in your hometown for you.

She doesn't recognize people when she's wearing those clothes, and she doesn't even have the ability to control half of her body. To put it bluntly, she's still a dirty person. She wants to find someone to adopt her as her parents, she's greedy for other people's bodies, and she's acting like a whore and pretending to be a saint.

Later, Shuxin met Liu Fu from the next village in the mountains. Shuxin beat him up with a sack, but she was not satisfied. She beat him up several times and made Liu Fu dare not go out of the mountains.

Speaking of Shulan, let's talk about her brother Liu Jianguo. Yes, her brother is the cannon fodder in another book, but compared to her cousin, her brother is not much better.

Her brother is the protagonist of "Our Years as Educated Youth".

The original plot is:

The heroine is the child of a big factory. Because of the policy, she lives in the countryside. She is weak and fragile, and there are always spare tires behind her. Her brother is not even a spare tire.

The hero is the only son of a capitalist. Later, he came to Liulin Brigade to escape the disaster. He is very good-looking, gentle and elegant, and fascinated a group of village girls. The heroine is no less charming and is completely bewitched by the hero.

The heroine sucked the blood of the spare tire to support the hero. After the college entrance examination was resumed, the two returned to the city hand in hand and lived a happy life, but the people who were sucked blood by her were miserable.

Her brother is not even considered a tool in the eyes of the heroine. During the quarrel between the hero and the heroine, he was seen by the heroine when he went to confess his love to the heroine. The hero was jealous, and completely realized his feelings. He resolved the misunderstanding, opened his heart, and was sweetly together with the heroine. He is a complete tool, providing a catalyst for the relationship between the hero and the heroine.

But her grandmother was a sober person. She knew that her brother was taking care of the delicate and weak educated youth from the city and putting a lot of food and daily necessities in her. She was very unwilling in her heart.

After Liu Jianguo was rejected, he didn't say much. He took Liu Jianguo and the educated youth to make a big fuss, and then quickly found a wife for Liu Jianguo.

Because of this good grandmother, her brother was able to avoid becoming the heroine's blood-sucking bag and becoming cannon fodder. At first, her brother was unwilling to marry anyone else. Her grandmother was not a simple and kind person. Even her beloved grandson was no exception and would never disobey her.

Grandma Liu didn't indulge him. She beat him three times a day, and within ten days, her brother gave in. So it’s better to fight less. Fight more and everything will be easier to talk out.

Compared to my brother, my grandmother sees that he's doing pretty well. My cousin is miserable. She is the only one marrying off a daughter, and her family can only subsidize her and not interfere in the affairs of the Liu family.

If Liu Fu had not kept it a secret from his family that he was going to join the army, and had not acted like he was willing to marry her in front of his cousin.

When Liu Fu wanted to get closer to her and consummate the marriage in advance, the cousin agreed after comprehensive consideration, otherwise the cousin would not give her body to Liu Fu so easily.

As a child bride, she would not be able to find another good family if she was not in the Liu family. Even if she said that she was still a virgin, others would not believe her.

Living under the same roof with two young men for several years and not making any progress, the old ladies in the village would not believe it.

That's why she told him when Liu Fu showed that he was willing to marry her. The eldest son of the Liu family was dead, and if she didn't catch Liu Fu, the two elders of the Liu family would not let her have an easy life in the future.

But who made Liu Fu behave like a bad person? He not only did not intend to marry her but also ate her up. Not only did he eat her up, he also ran away and did not go home for more than ten years.

What should Shulan do? She was in poor health, had no reputation, and to make matters worse, she was pregnant. She couldn't bear to see her life disappear, so she just stayed at the Liu family and worked like a slave for them, eventually dying from overwork.

But now that she is here, she will not let her cousin end up like in the book.

She wants space, space, and variety. From now on, she will try to stock up on food. The famine will surely be overcome smoothly. She won't let her sister become a child bride just for a bag of food.
