Chapter 65 Justice

As soon as she finished speaking, a ghostly-faced ghost shouted, "Hurry up and go to the torture platform!" The voice was so loud that her heart pounded wildly, her mind was in a mess, and she was terrified. She didn't want to go to the eighteenth level of hell, and she didn't want to be a slave in her next life. She still wanted to find that person, so how could she be a slave?

She struggled to her feet, but her body was pinned down by dozens of heavy sticks. She shouted, "I refuse to accept this! I refuse to accept this!"

But everything before her eyes was changing, slowly changing. The Mirror Platform and the Envoy of Punishment that she had just seen were gone. She screamed in terror, waving her hands frantically and shouting in a shrill voice, "Jiang Ying, I curse you! I curse you to die a horrible death in every lifetime! I curse you to never have a good end in every lifetime!"

Her ulterior motive was to drag the person she hated most down with her; if she couldn't have it easy, she wanted the person she hated most to have it even worse.

Suddenly, with a "smack," Jiang Yue was slapped and fell to the ground. She didn't know when, but all the so-called ghost messengers had disappeared, leaving her alone sitting on the ground with Zhao Shu standing in front of her.

"So, you killed my mother and my brothers." She could no longer distinguish whether her voice was angry or furious; she only felt a tightness in her chest, desperately wanting to vent it.

Jiang Yue murmured as she looked at Zhao Shu, but her eyes weren't looking at Zhao Shu at all. It was as if she was looking at someone else through Zhao Shu. Her eyes were cloudy and she was laughing maniacally. "If I'm not having a good time, you won't have one either! I won't accept it, I won't accept it!"

She firmly believed that all karmic obstacles would be punished, as the old saying goes, and that good and evil deeds would eventually be rewarded, and that even those who flew away could not escape their fate.

Time has already etched countless small holes into her heart. She can openly admit her evil deeds and confess without hesitation, but she is not resigned to being forever suppressed by the person she hates most and never getting what she wants.

Evil arose in her heart; she was unwilling, resentful, and resentful.

Zhao Shu coldly asked again, "So, my mother and brothers died at your hands?"

She seemed unable to see Zhao Shu, yet she stretched her hand out in front of her eyes, looking at her thin, withered hands. "At least, you died by my hand. You died by my hand, but I didn't win, and neither did you. Jiang Ying, my dear sister, you died by my hand, but you didn't win either!" Her logic was incoherent, and her words were no longer grammatically correct.

Zhao Shu slowly stood up and said to Zheng Hongsheng beside her, "Lord Zheng, according to the laws of Dayong, what crime should Jiang Yue be charged with? What punishment should she be given?"

Zheng Hongsheng was still shaken. Jiang Yue's obsession was truly deep. Even in such a predicament, she still didn't forget to curse her own sister. Such cold-bloodedness and ruthlessness were truly unprecedented in his life. He organized his thoughts and bowed, saying, "To murder one's own sister and nephew is a serious crime of discord. To murder the Princess Consort and the Prince of Yong is a serious crime of treason. Both should be punished with the death penalty, and their relatives should also be implicated."

Jiang Yue's situation was somewhat special. Zheng Hongsheng stopped talking after speaking. In his opinion, it was best to settle this matter privately. If it were to be brought to court, the Marquis of Yiguang would likely lose his title, have his property confiscated, and suffer imprisonment. Although the victim was her second daughter, the law would not tolerate any leniency.

Zhao Shu snorted coldly, "I'll imprison her and make sure she dies a spectacular death in front of everyone."

Jiang Yue's apologies to her mother and the Yong Prince's Mansion are her own business, and she will not let the Yiguang Marquis's Mansion bear the blame for her sins. But to expect her to settle this matter privately because of the Yiguang Marquis's Mansion? Absolutely not!

Zhao Shu is determined to make Jiang Yue pay a permanent price for her actions, leaving her infamous for eternity and despised by the world! She will not let her die in obscurity!

If good and evil go unpunished, then Heaven and Earth must be biased. Even if Heaven and Earth are already corrupt, she will still seek justice for her mother.

Zheng Hongsheng sighed and shook his head. He ordered the yamen runners to take Jiang Yue, whose effects from the medicine had not yet worn off, away. He also specifically instructed his clerk to go down with her to make arrangements, lest Jiang Yue die. This young princess did not seem to want Jiang Yue to die so quickly. Since she wanted to befriend the Prince Yong's mansion, she must leave a good impression.

Jiang Yue was led away, and Zhao Shu looked up at the dark sky. "Mr. Huo, would you be interested in playing the game of the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind?"

Huo Baichuan flicked his wide sleeves, a licorice root dangling from his mouth, and arrogantly raised an eyebrow. “At such a young age, you’re quite adept at using people. Fine, I’ll take pity on you and help you out. Little Fatty, send someone into the capital. Be quick, at any cost.”

Little Fatty was completely bewildered, not knowing what kind of madness the young master had gone mad at again. He glanced at Wei Tingsi opposite him with difficulty. This man was extremely skilled, moving around the courtyard with the little princess at a speed that Little Fatty could not match.

Huo Baichuan patted his hand, "Don't worry, young master won't die."

Wei Tingsi sat down, poured himself another cup of tea, and glanced at Xiao Pang. Xiao Pang quickly ran out to make arrangements. Zhao Shu looked at his eyes, which seemed to hold a thousand words, and couldn't help but find it amusing. How could Wei Tingsi and Huo Baichuan easily fight to the death? The two had no conflict of interest or life-or-death feud.

After Little Fatty left, Huo Baichuan thought for a moment, "If you're going to do a good deed, go all the way. Duozi, you can be the oriole that catches the worm."

Duo Zi glanced at Wei Ting Si with equal unease and said, "Yes, young master, I will have Bi Yue protect you."

Huo Baichuan nodded slowly, "Tell her to come quickly. Young Master is very sleepy and is playing with the child in the middle of the night." He then looked at Zhao Shu, "I'm talking to you, Little Princess. Look at our Xian, how well-behaved he is. He never causes trouble for the adults."

Zheng Hongsheng felt extremely uncomfortable and could hardly breathe. Huo Baichuan was too oblivious to others, and the man in all black was too cold and aloof. Both of them had extremely powerful auras. Although there weren't many people here, he believed that even if there were a huge crowd, these two would still be able to stand alone in the world.
