Chapter 92 Farewell

Zhao Shu gazed at the waterlogged road for a long time. Just as she turned to return to Jiangnan Prefecture, the sound of horses' hooves rang out. She turned back and saw his black robes fluttering, with two strands of black hair blowing behind him in the wind.

His handsome face was filled with reluctance.

A horse galloped up, and Zhao Shu was standing by the roadside. He came to her side, reached out and scooped her onto the horse, and the two rode away.

The wind, mixed with drizzle, brushed against her face, yet felt exceptionally refreshing. Zhao Shu leaned against him, looking up at him, but he lowered his head and kissed her.

Zhao Shu didn't know what Wei Tingsi was going to do, so she stood aside and watched silently.

Wei Tingsi settled Zhao Shu aside. He didn't mind Lao Liu's misunderstanding, took down the apron hanging on the wall, and put it on himself.

"Old Liu, hurry up, I don't have much time," he urged.
