Chapter 244 Moving

The two spent one week decorating and the other week buying furniture and household items. Because Shen Heng had become an impatient person, they finished making the house habitable in less than a month.

Bai Jiaojiao chose a white curtain with green floral patterns for the master bedroom, and the bed sheets were also fresh and cozy with small yellow flowers. For the other windows, Bai Jiaojiao bought dirt-resistant navy blue curtains with white floral patterns. She also bought four flower pots and placed them on the windowsill outside the bedroom. The weather is about to warm up, so she can plant some flowers in them soon.

The dormitory wasn't tidy at all, and all the bedding had been bought new, but Bai Jiaojiao still took a cotton quilt to the dormitory and replaced the down comforter.

Xu Yue was extremely reluctant to leave: "You won't be living here anymore?"

"Yeah, I won't be back tonight, but we'll still see each other during class and study sessions, won't we?"

Xu Yue pouted. After seeing Bai Jiaojiao off, she was in a bad mood. Seeing Chen Meizhen clipping her nails in the dormitory, she said, "Didn't some people clamor to go home as soon as school started? Why aren't they going back yet? Bai Jiaojiao just moved out without warning."

Chen Meizhen rolled her eyes: "Where I live is none of your business. It was my dad who said I should be more easygoing and not keep my distance from my classmates, otherwise I would have left long ago."

Chen Meizhen even acted as if 'it's your good fortune to be my roommate'.

Xu Yue was angry, but then someone in the dorm started flattering her: "Chen Meizhen, your dad is so approachable."

As soon as Zhang Mai finished speaking, Xu Yue scoffed, "Being close to the people? Her father is the emperor, and she's talking about being close to the people? All the emperors are long dead. Now it's the people who are in charge. Watch your mouth."

Zhang Mai had already experienced firsthand how sharp Xu Yue's tongue was during the first month of school.

She blushed and lowered her head, not daring to say another word.

Chen Meizhen looked away, too lazy to argue with Xu Yue.

To be honest, she didn't think much of Xu Yue at all; she was secretly competing with Bai Jiaojiao.

Chen Meizhen has held a grudge against Bai Jiaojiao ever since the last English class proficiency test, when Bai Jiaojiao scored 95 while she only scored 78.

Not only is she beautiful and academically gifted, but she also owns property at a young age, right next to the school. Originally, Chen Meizhen's choice to live at home was a privilege to show off her uniqueness, but her father refused to let her live at home regularly, and Bai Jiaojiao beat her to it.

Chen Meizhen has always been competitive since childhood, and now that Bai Jiaojiao is constantly overshadowing her, she is very unhappy.

Xu Yue had no idea that she wasn't even a worthy opponent in Chen Meizhen's eyes, and she was still sulking with Chen Meizhen.

With Bai Jiaojiao absent and no one to speak up for her, she could only drag Shu Manling to the classroom to study.

Bai Jiaojiao left the dormitory, and Shen Heng was waiting at the door. He tied the quilt to the bicycle handlebar, grinned foolishly, and said, "Let's go home."

Shen Heng's smile was actually quite frightening. Bai Jiaojiao covered his face with her hand and then sat in the back seat of the car.

The bicycle was very tall, and Bai Jiaojiao's legs would dangle in the air when she sat on it. She could only maintain a relatively safe posture by holding onto Chen Heng. Fortunately, the atmosphere on the university campus was relatively open, and the university students were not surprised to see a man and a woman riding a bicycle like this.

Today they officially moved into their new home, and the two of them bought a lot of delicious food.

Yancheng was rich in resources, and Bai Jiaojiao bought many kinds of vegetables that Shen Heng had never seen before.

Shen Heng said he didn't want Bai Jiaojiao to suffer and that she could eat in the cafeteria in the future, but when they actually sat down at the table, he was the one slurping down his food.

"I haven't had a proper meal in all the days I've been in Yancheng!"

Bai Jiaojiao smiled but remained silent, but in her heart she was thinking, "Did you use the extra half spoonful of soup that the cafeteria auntie specially gave you to dip your steamed buns and feed it to the dog?"

After finishing his meal, Shen Heng washed the dishes, tidied the kitchen, and washed up. He went through the whole process without a trace of impropriety.

Bai Jiaojiao was reading a book while resting her head on her hand on the kang (a heated brick bed). Due to the changes in the route in previous years, the library at Yanda University did not have a complete collection of books. Some of the books that Bai Jiaojiao remembered reading in her previous life could not be found in the library now.

She couldn't be bothered to know what mischief Shen Heng was up to again; she was definitely not naive enough to think that Shen Heng would obediently go to sleep tonight.

As soon as Shen Heng entered the room, the light was turned off with a "snap".

Bai Jiaojiao: "I have class tomorrow morning, so you can't go for me like you used to do in the village."

Shen Heng remained silent, and Bai Jiaojiao felt him gradually approaching her.

A familiar scent wafted over her, and Bai Jiaojiao was enveloped by Shen Heng. It was early spring, and Shen Heng had still heated the kang (a traditional heated brick bed). Bai Jiaojiao felt inexplicably hot as she was held in his arms.

"Jiaojiao, do you miss me?"

Shen Heng's breath fell on Bai Jiaojiao's ear. His murmured voice was particularly deep in the darkness, like a heavy drop of water falling into a bowl of still water.

"think."

As soon as Bai Jiaojiao spoke, her face turned red, and she reached under Shen Heng's armpits to hug his shoulders tightly.

This undoubtedly encouraged Shen Heng. Shen Heng lowered his head and kissed Bai Jiaojiao deeply. He felt an itch in his palms, an emptiness he didn't know how to fill, so he could only stroke Bai Jiaojiao again and again.

"Tell Heng what you're thinking."

Bai Jiaojiao remained silent, so Shen Heng turned her hand aside and stroked his body from head to toe: "Do you want to be here? Do you want to be here? Do you want to... be here?"

Bai Jiaojiao's palms were burning hot. Even though she knew that Shen Heng couldn't see her face clearly in the dark, she still turned her head away.

"In no mood."

"Don't be stubborn." Shen Heng pressed Bai Jiaojiao's hand against his body, and Bai Jiaojiao felt him more clearly.

"In no mood!"

"I miss you."

Shen Heng had been patient for a month, so a few more minutes wouldn't make a difference; he seemed very patient today.

He slowly and deliberately began his foreplay, kissing every inch of Bai Jiaojiao's skin again and again.

Bai Jiaojiao's skin is delicate and sensitive, especially the ticklish spot on her waist. Feeling Shen Heng's breath, Bai Jiaojiao couldn't help but shift her body slightly.

"Heng-ge, it itches so much! Can you...?"

"Can I do what?" Shen Heng kissed Bai Jiaojiao's soft, smooth belly again. "Say it."

"Could you hurry up? I... I have to get up early for class tomorrow..."

As soon as Bai Jiaojiao finished speaking, Shen Heng straightened up, stripped off his clothes, and threw them onto the kang (a heated brick bed). Just by listening to the sound, you could tell how rough his actions were.

Shen Heng grabbed Bai Jiaojiao's leg and pulled her onto his shoulder.

"Heng-ge, can we do it like before?" Bai Jiaojiao was shy about this position, but Shen Heng seemed not to hear her.

"But you told me to hurry up."

The first rain of spring began to fall outside the window, the new glass panes pattering with raindrops. Shen Heng asked in a low voice, "Why is your noise not as loud as the rain outside?"

He did not hear Bai Jiaojiao's reply, nor did he need her reply.

Useless men complain about others; real men only work harder on themselves.
