"Much better, much better. Your dad's looking for you, go upstairs quickly. Yunxin, don't let Fenglin talk back to his dad." Du Ying patted her son, telling him not to argue with his father so much.
Qi Yunxin: "Mm."
Yang Fenglin reluctantly pulled Qi Yunxin into Yang Changping's study: "Dad, what do you want to see me about?"
Yang Changping cut straight to the point: "What's the name of the young woman you picked up in your car today? How did you two meet?"
Yang Fenglin's mind raced, his face flushed with anger: "Dad, are you mistaken? That was a woman Qi Yunxin and I met on the roadside in the middle of nowhere. Her bicycle chain broke, so I put her on the bike and pulled her along. What are you thinking? Old Qi, is that right? Say something."
Qi Yunxin: "Yes."
Yang Fenglin was somewhat displeased. Yang Changping was, after all, a high-ranking leader; how could he engage in such unfounded speculation? Besides, he was already so old; even if he were dating, did Yang Changping really need to interrogate him like this?
