Bai Shiqing rode her bicycle to work. The wind in Yancheng was strong, and the wind stung the half of her face that wasn't wearing a mask, while the half that was wearing a mask was wet and stuffy.
The snow on the streets had been mostly cleared, but a section of dirt road remained very muddy, making it very difficult for Bai Shiqing to walk.
