Chapter 147 Da Huang and Da Bai

Han Xiao still remembered that the last impression he had before he was unconscious seemed to be seeing Li Cui'er.

I just don't know why she is here, and Li Cui'er is nowhere to be seen.

"Ruanruan, where is the girl who saved us?" Han Xiao waited for a while but still didn't see Li Cui'er, so he asked Ruanruan.

Ruanruan's hand stopped petting the big cat, and her expression became sad. "I...I don't know either. She wore my clothes and said she wanted to help us divert others. That girl also told me about this place."

The young master choked up and told Han Xiao what happened after Han Xiao fell into a coma. After listening, Han Xiao remained silent for a long time.

Li Cui'er was originally implicated by them innocently. If anything happened to Li Cui'er, he would really feel guilty for the rest of his life.

I just hope that Li Cui'er is very familiar with the terrain of this mountain and can escape this disaster.

Han Xiao calmed himself down and looked at the young master who was still a little uneasy. He knew that he had suffered a lot in the past two days.

He wanted to hug the young master out of heartache, but the wound on his shoulder prevented him from moving.

Their stomachs began to growl, and the young master quickly stood up: "Husband, you must be hungry. I'll go get you something to eat."

The wild rabbits that Dahuang and the others brought would have to be dealt with later. Fortunately, there was a lot of snake meat left over from yesterday. The young master roasted some for himself and then put the rest into a clay pot with boiling water to cook.

Han Xiao was a wounded soldier and could not eat barbecue. Although boiled snake meat tasted a little worse, it could fill his stomach.

The young master quickly prepared it and served it to Han Xiao first: "Husband, you eat first."

Looking at the young master's big round eyes, Han Xiao smiled gently: "Okay, let's eat together."

The young master nodded happily. He felt relieved that his husband had woken up, and he felt reassured.

The two of them simply ate the snake meat. To be honest, boiled snake meat did not taste good without any seasoning, but Han Xiao knew that snake meat was very rare at the moment.

He didn't know how much shock and grievance he had suffered in order to have enough food to eat and be soft.

The young master had a small appetite and there was some roasted snake meat left, so Dahuang came over. The young master was stunned for a moment, then looked at the snake meat in his hand and then at Dahuang.

Gently stroking Dahuang's furry head, which felt especially good, he asked, "Dahuang, do you want to eat this too?"

Da Huang continued to rub the young master's calf, and the young master tentatively put the roasted snake meat to Da Huang's mouth.

Dahuang sniffed it a few times and quickly ate it, then sat in front of the young master and looked at him.

The young master understood what Da Huang meant, so he said embarrassedly: "Da Huang, there is no more, how about we eat roasted rabbit later?"

The young master pointed to the hare placed aside.

Han Xiao looked at the interaction between the man and the beast and felt incredible. He really never knew that untrained wild beasts could get along with humans.

After taking a look at the white tiger nestling at the edge of the cave, Han Xiao felt a little itchy in his heart. This is the king of beasts, the tiger. Who doesn't want to touch the big cat?

However, Han Xiao did not dare to act rashly. These two beasts were very friendly to the young master, but they might be different towards him.

He looked at Baihu regretfully. Baihu seemed to feel Han Xiao's gaze and looked over lazily.

Han Xiao lay there with his body stiff. Baihu paused for a moment and then slowly walked over.

Han Xiao's heart was pounding. What was this big cat doing? Was it going to eat him?

He glanced in the direction of the young master, who was still playing with Da Huang and didn't notice what was happening on Han Xiao's side at all.

The white tiger quickly walked to Han Xiao's side, sniffed Han Xiao's shoulder gently, and then growled.

Han Xiao looked at him in confusion, and the white tiger showed no intention of attacking, so Han Xiao was completely relieved.

It seems that these two old Hongs are very spiritual.

The white tiger called out in the direction of Dahuang, and Dahuang stood up. Then the two big cats walked out of the cave side by side.

The young master stood up doubtfully: "Hey, are you going back?"

He was answered by a low roar. The young master thought that they still had two tiger cubs and thought that they might have to go back to feed their children.

So he sent the two big cats to the outside of the cave and said, "Da Huang, Da Bai, come over to play often in the future."

The young master jumped up and waved goodbye to the two big cats.

Han Xiao found it even funnier when he saw it. He thought that Ruanruan must have treated the two big cats as friends.

However, seeing the young master's relaxed expression, Han Xiao felt relieved.

"Husband, do you think Da Huang and the others will come again?"

The young master came to Han Xiao's side, and Han Xiao held the young master's hand and said, "Well, you two are already friends. They should come again."

Han Xiao was not sure either, but judging from the expressions of these two big cats, they would come again.

"Yeah, then I'll roast rabbits for them next time they come. I think Dahuang really likes roasted meat. Look, these rabbits were sent by Dahuang and his family."

The young master proudly showed off his achievements to Han Xiao.

Han Xiao smiled and nodded, praising the young master generously, making the young master's face blush.

"It's not that serious." The young master snuggled up to Han Xiao. Now there was no one to disturb him.

All the complicated emotions he had been feeling over the past few days came flooding back, and he pressed his forehead against Han Xiao's chest and began to sob silently.

Han Xiao sighed and gently stroked the young master's head: "It's okay, Ruanruan, we will be able to go back soon."

The young master just shook his head without saying anything, and slowly fell asleep while crying. He had not had a good rest in the past few days. When Han Xiao woke up today, the young master finally let down his guard.

Han Xiao held the young master in one hand while thinking about what to do next. He couldn't move at the moment and could only rely on the young master. It would probably take him ten days or half a month to be able to walk normally.

There is no need to worry about food, Dahuang and Dabai will send some over, but Han Xiao can't just wait like this, he doesn't know what's going on at home.

Han Xiao was also not sure whether this cave was particularly safe. Zhang Shaoqi had sent people to hunt down the young master and would not give up until he achieved his goal. It was probably only a matter of time before they found this place.

What's more, there is Li Cui'er.

It's not Han Xiao's fault for his conspiracy theory. Although Han Xiao knew that it was Li Cui'er who saved them and lured away the killer alone that day, everything is subject to change. If Li Cui'er was caught and tortured, it is really hard to say whether she would expose Han Xiao and the others' whereabouts.

So no matter what, he probably couldn't stay in this cave any longer. As for where to go, Han Xiao looked outside the cave and had a bold idea.

I wonder if there is anyone in the world who has actually been to the tiger's den?
