"Greetings, Lord Tianjing!"
"Greetings, Lady Tianjing!" On the way to the palace, they encountered several patrols. The captain recognized Tianjing and immediately saluted her.
"Mm." Tianjing nodded, continuing to walk inside without stopping.
Half an hour later, the group arrived at the entrance of the Queen's palace.
The palace buildings are in the style of the Tang Dynasty in China, and they are quite magnificent.
"Lord Tianjing, when did you return to the country?" A servant at the door recognized Tianjing and asked.
"I just got back. I have urgent business to attend to with the Empress!" Tianjing said.
"The Queen is resting; she must not be disturbed!"
"See you tomorrow!" the attendant waved his hand and said.
"I need to see her now, please inform her," Tianjing said.
"The palace has its rules, and we hope Lord Tianjing will understand," the attendant said, waving his hand.
Chen Tiansheng gave Shi Jing a wink, and Shi Jing flicked his finger, sending out a wisp of wind that pierced the throat of the attendant. Before he could even utter a sound, he collapsed.
Shi Jing stepped forward, supported him, and leaned him against the wall.
"Creak." She pushed the door open with both hands.
"Lord Tianjing, don't you know the Empress is resting? Can't we disturb her?" The maids who were supposed to be attending to the Empress said angrily when they saw the door being pushed open and Tianjing walking in.
"I have something to ask of the Empress!" Tianjing knelt down and said to a beautiful woman lying on the bed.
"Is it about the Dragon Kingdom?" the woman asked, gesturing for the maids to leave.
"Yes." Tianjing nodded.
"Is something wrong?" the Queen asked.
"The fifth stronghold has been destroyed!" Tianjing said.
"What? The fifth stronghold has been destroyed?"
The Empress was startled and sat up.
"Who destroyed it?" she asked.
"It's me!" Chen Tiansheng said as he walked in.
