Chapter 46 Annihilating the Enemy on the Wasteland

The northern suburbs are a wasteland of weeds.

The Porsche was parked quietly in a patch of weeds. Chen Tiansheng sat inside the car, a large cigar between his fingers, puffing out smoke.

Shi Jing crossed his arms, looked in a distant direction, and sneered.

"Get some information out of them before you kill them!" Chen Tiansheng said, sticking his cigar out the window and flicking off the ash.

"Understood!" Shi Jing nodded.

Shortly afterward, a black sedan drove into the grassland.

It stopped in a patch of weeds opposite the Porsche.

The car door opened, and a tall, slender man dressed in a black robe and wearing a mask stepped out.

His gaze was cold and gloomy as he looked at a grassy area opposite.

A gentle breeze blew, causing the wild grass to bend to both sides, and a short-haired woman in a trench coat walked out.

"I've been waiting for you for a long time!" she said, looking at the man in black robes with a cold laugh.

"We're all on the same path, I don't want to hurt you."

I advise you to leave immediately.

"My target is the people inside the car." Two cold beams shot out from the eye holes of the black-robed man's hood, and he said in an icy voice.

"His safety is in my hands; how could I leave him?"

"Although your aura has become stronger, I am confident that I can defeat you in one round."

"You don't want to hurt me."

"Too early to say!" Shi Jing sneered.

"Since you're so determined to die, then don't blame me for being ruthless." The man in black clenched his fist, making a cracking sound.

A strong wind swept through, causing the black robe to flutter and rustle.

"Before I kill you."

"Answer me a question?" Shi Jing asked calmly.

"What's the problem?" the man in black robes asked.

"Who instructed you?" Shi Jing asked.

"Then let's get started!"

"I'll question you after I've subdued you." Shi Jing grabbed with her five fingers, and a wisp of green energy appeared, condensing into a long spear, which she held in her hand.

"Condense your energy into a spear!"

"You've actually mastered this legendary art of controlling qi!" The man in black robes was immediately taken aback upon witnessing this.

"I have a lot more to learn!"

"It's just that I wouldn't bother using it on an insect like you," Shi Jing sneered.

"You actually called me an insect?" These words nearly made the man in black robes furious.

He is a Xuan-level expert (combat power level, initial stage, Heaven and Earth Xuanhuang, middle stage, Sun, Moon and Stars...), whose strength is second only to the Di-level.

Within the Tiandi Group, he was an outstanding figure, yet he was called an insect by the other party. How could he not be furious?

Calling you an insect is giving you too much credit.

“With your meager strength, you’re probably not even as good as an insect,” Shi Jing added.

"I'll destroy you." The man in black robes was completely enraged. He spread his five fingers, and a wisp of green energy appeared. In a moment, it condensed into a green balloon the size of an apple, which he then flung out.

"Swoosh." Shi Jing flicked the tip of his spear and thrust it straight forward.

"Pop." The balloon was punctured and burst open.

"Sizzle sizzle sizzle." The man in black robes flung out a dozen more blue balloons, which flew toward her.

Shi Jing flicked the tip of his spear repeatedly, puncturing all the balloons, causing them to burst open.

At this moment, the man in black robes was almost out of internal energy, and cold sweat was breaking out on his forehead.

The rate at which the balloons condensed also slowed down.

"Die!" Shi Jing took a step forward.

The next moment, he was already in front of the man in black robes, thrusting out his spear straight for his chest.

The man in black robes' expression changed, and he turned to the side, about to dodge.

But the spear that came thrusting at them was incredibly fast, getting ahead of them.

"Pfft!" The next moment, the spear pierced through his chest, and the blood-red spear tip emerged from his back.

"Good, what a fast gun!" The man in black robes looked down at the gun barrel, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

Shi Jing flicked his finger, the force of which was like a knife, slicing through the black cloth bag on his head, and he fell down.

An extremely ugly face appeared before her.

"I don't know him." Shi Jing shook his head.

"You've fallen into my hands, you should behave yourself now!"

"I'll give you one more chance. Who sent you here?" she asked.

"No comment!" The man in black shook his head.

"Did you get any results?" Chen Tiansheng's voice came from the grassy area.

“He won’t say,” Shi Jing said.

"Then kill them," Chen Tiansheng said, waving his hand.

"Yes." Shi Jing drew his spear, pointed it upwards, and thrust it forward again.

"Pfft." The spear tip pierced the black-robed man's throat and emerged from the back of his neck. The black-robed man shuddered and his head tilted to the side.

Shi Jing holstered his gun, and the corpse slammed heavily to the ground.

"Your mouth is pretty tight." Chen Tiansheng walked over, looked at the corpse on the ground, and sneered.

He's dead!

"The person who gave the order will surely send someone even more capable."

"We must be prepared to fight at any time," he added.

"I understand." Shi Jing nodded.

"Go back." Chen Tiansheng waved his hand, turned around and left.

"Next time, send someone more capable."

"This guy is too weak." Shi Jing glanced at the corpse on the ground and left!

"What? Night Owl is dead!" Upon receiving the report, Elder Tian of the Tiandi Group was taken aback.

"Yes, Heavenly Venerable."

"Night Owl is indeed dead."

"Our informants found his body in the wasteland on the northern outskirts. He had been shot twice, both times in vital areas. We estimate that the person who killed him was also a skilled fighter," a man in black reported.

"It seems I underestimated Chen Tiansheng." Old Tian shook his head.

"The girl next to him is very likely a master."

"Night Owl was probably killed by this woman," another man in black said.

"Hmm." Old Tian nodded. "This Night Owl is too impatient."

"I originally told him to just keep an eye on Chen Tiansheng and make a move after he had a good understanding of everything about him."

"This time, he was probably killed because he was too eager to make a name for himself and deliberately exposed himself," Elder Tian said.

“After he came back last night, he rushed to see me and said he wanted to take down Chen Tiansheng.”

“I told him not to be rash and to wait until he was completely familiar with the situation before killing him.”

"They were wiped out this time, clearly they didn't listen to what I said."

“He’s too impatient!” the man in black said, shaking his head.

"Summon Black Bat," Elder Tian said, waving his hand.

"Yes..." Not long after, a woman wearing a tight-fitting outfit and with a full and curvy figure walked in.

"Heavenly Venerable, you were looking for me?" Black Bat bowed to the Heavenly Elder and asked.

"Hmm." Old Tian nodded. "There's something I need you to do."

“Please speak, Celestial Venerable,” the black bat said.

"Keep an eye on the CEO of Kyushu Group, but don't act rashly."

"Once I figure out his schedule and travel patterns, I will devise a detailed plan to wipe him out in one fell swoop."

"yes..."
