"Wan'er, Yunzhi, show me your weapons!" Lei Yun suddenly said.
"Yes!" Gao Wan'er and Lu Yun stopped, turned around, and handed over the weapons.
"Dragon's Roar Blade!"
"Mountain-Shattering Divine Spear!!"
"How did these two treasures end up in this realm?"
"Could it be that something happened to them?!" After examining them carefully, Lei Yun's face showed a strange expression.
"Where did you obtain these two weapons?"
"Besides that, did you receive anything else?" he asked.
"I obtained this knife from some ruins!"
"It's held in the hand of a skeleton!"
"The skull's joints were all shattered; it must have suffered severe injuries before it died!"
"He died because he couldn't be cured!" Gao Wan'er took out half of a jade tablet and handed it to Lei Yun.
"This is what I found nearby; it must have been one of its personal belongings!"
"But I don't recognize the characters on it!"
"Master, take a look!"
Lei Yun took it, his expression changed drastically, and he gripped it tightly.
It was as if it were something extremely precious, something hard to part with.
"Master!" Gao Wan'er was taken aback when she saw his strange expression.
Realizing he had lost his composure, Lei Yun smiled and released his hand.
He returned the jade pendant to her.
"I don't recognize these characters either."
"Keep it safe!"
"Perhaps I'll meet someone who understands these words in the future!"
“I can translate it!” he said.
"Yes." Gao Wan'er took it and put it away.
"Go!" Lei Yun handed her the knife.
"Yes." Gao Wan'er took it and turned to leave.
“Master, I also obtained this gun from a ruin.”
"In addition to that, there is a suit of stone armor."
“But it’s broken!” Lu Yunzhi shook her head and said again.
"The stone armor was peeled off a skeleton."
"I know that doing so is disrespectful to it!"
"Later, they dug three feet into the ground and buried it!"
"I can finally rest easy!"
"Yes." Lei Yun nodded.
"Is it intact?" he asked.
"His body was completely covered, but there was a hole in his forehead, as if he had been shot through by an arrow!" Lu Yunzhi thought for a moment and said.
"I understand." Lei Yun nodded and sighed softly.
"What I just don't understand is!"
"This gun is extremely sharp!"
"But the stone armor is very brittle!"
"They couldn't even withstand a punch from the Lord of the Ten Thousand Beasts Sect!" she exclaimed.
"When you obtained the stone armor, did you notice anything unusual?" Lei Yun asked.
"There seem to be some cracks on it, but they are very fine and you can't see them unless you look closely," Lu Yunzhi said.
“That’s right!” Lei Yun nodded.
"The stone armor had suffered a heavy blow before!"
"By the time you get it, it will have no defensive capabilities whatsoever!"
“So, it shatters with a single blow!” he said.
"I see!" Upon hearing this, Lu Yunzhi understood.
“Go!” Lei Yun said.
"Yes." Lu Yunzhi bowed to him and quickly left.
"I never expected this!"
"They're dead too!!"
"It seems these people won't stop until they wipe out all the remaining forces of the Arctic Palace!"
"I will remember these blood debts!" Ancestor Lei Yun sighed softly and turned to enter the hall.
With a wave of his hand, a door of light appeared. He gently pushed it open and stepped inside.
Inside the portal was a space.
It is square, about the size of a room.
On the left is a weapon rack, and on the rack is a large sword.
The blade was riddled with nicks and could no longer be used.
The handle was covered with cracks, densely packed like a spider web.
On the right stands an armor frame.
On the shelf hung a suit of stone armor.
It was already in a terrible state of disrepair.
Especially the chest area, which had a large hole.
It appears to have been struck by gravity and shattered.
Lei Yun's gaze swept over the weapons and armor one by one, he sighed, and walked inside.
At the end, there was a cabinet. He opened the drawer and took out half of a black blade.
"This treasure has been damaged, and we can no longer use its power to return to the upper realm!"
"The only option is to go out and find spatial nodes, or the weakest point!"
"Find a way to open it!"
"We've entered!"
"Rest assured, Palace Master!"
"As long as this old servant still has a breath left!"
"We will definitely find out the truth!"
"Slay all the evildoers!"
"To avenge you and your wife!" As he said this, his eyes flashed with a cold light, and his murderous aura was palpable.
Inside the space, the temperature immediately dropped, as if it were the dead of winter.
"I am in this realm."
"I couldn't sense the young master's presence!"
"Presumably, she did not enter this realm!"
"Your Majesty and Madam, please rest assured."
"I will find her!" With that, he put the broken blade back in its place, closed the drawstring, and turned to leave....
Thousands of miles away, in a place amidst towering mountains and treacherous ridges.
A huge pavilion, about a hundred feet tall and made entirely of jade, floats in the air.
The jade stones were covered with intricate runes that kept flashing.
The surrounding air is continuously drawn in, converted into buoyancy, and steadily supports the pavilion.
The doors to the first through seventh floors were wide open, and cultivators were constantly coming and going, stepping on magical artifacts.
The forty-ninth floor, which is the very top floor.
A woman in a black dress sat in a chair, her brows furrowed.
