"Dad..." Chen Tianyi called out several times, but there was no response from the phone. His heart sank immediately.
"Come with me to Lingyin Temple!" He immediately got into the car and, with a group of his men, headed towards Lingyin Temple.
"Of course I'm not dead!" Chen Tiansheng looked at Chen Guo and sneered, "Today, it's you who will die!"
"Old Abbot, Old Abbot!" Chen Guo shouted towards the door, but it was completely silent outside, except for the strong smell of blood.
"Stop yelling, he's already dead!" Shi Jing sneered.
"He's dead!" Upon hearing this, Chen Guo immediately collapsed to the ground.
They even killed the old abbot!
Who can rival him now!
"Hiss." At this moment, a golden light appeared in the hall, and then an old man who was as old as could be walked out, leaning on a cane.
"The old hermit!!" Upon seeing the old man, Chen Guo's eyes lit up, and his confidence instantly returned.
"I sensed that Mr. Chen was in danger, so I rushed over immediately!" The old man walked over, helped Chen Guo up, and when he turned around, his face was already icy cold!
“This must be that three-hundred-year-old monster!” Chen Tiansheng said.
"That should be it!" Shi Jing nodded.
"This is Chen's last card. Once it's gone, no one can stop it anymore!" he said.
"Junior sister, do you want to rest for a while?" Liu Xue suddenly said from the side.
"Senior sister wants to make a move?" Shi Jing asked.
"Seeing you killing so happily along the way, I want to have a go too!" Liu Xue said.
"Alright!" Shi Jing laughed heartily.
She hadn't considered this idea at all during the fight.
Seeing this old hermit gave me this idea.
It seems she's only interested in people who are strong and capable.
"Mr. Chen, I'll protect you!"
"Let my senior sister deal with this old man!" she said to Chen Tiansheng.
"Mm." Chen Tiansheng nodded.
"I came here today to persuade the three of you to give up!"
"Kneel down, kowtow to Mr. Chen, apologize, and cut off one of your own hands, then we'll let you leave!"
"But now, I've given up on that idea!"
"You massacred Lingyin Temple and killed so many monks!"
"If we let you leave, you will surely become a menace!"
"We have no choice but to take action and eliminate them!" The old man glanced at the three of them, sneered, and said.
"You?" Liu Xue shook her head.
"You have no right to say such things in front of me!"
"hehe!"
"Do you even have the right to slap me to death?!"
"You'll find out soon enough!" The old man took a step forward and instantly arrived in front of Liu Xue, stretching out his palm, which was as hard as withered wood, to block her head.
A snowflake-shaped rune flew out from Liu Xue's body, disappeared into the palm of the hand that slapped her, and vanished.
"Crack! Crack! Crack!" In an instant, his palm turned into a block of ice, and he lost all feeling in it!
"Frost runes!" The old man was taken aback upon witnessing this.
That chilling sensation spread rapidly from the palm to the forearm, turning everything in its path into ice!
The old hermit's hand hovered in the air, unable to strike. Shocked, he channeled his inner energy to collide with the wisp of cold air, but the cold air was as hard as gold thread, cutting his inner energy to pieces and continuing to extend forward.
In a matter of moments, my forearm turned to ice, and my upper arm began to stiffen!
"Ice Runes!" Chen Tiansheng looked at Liu Xue and saw two more snowflake-shaped runes floating on her body, crystal clear.
"The Frost Rune is a cultivation technique for those with an ice-attribute physique; it's quite powerful!" Shi Jing said.
"Ice attribute physique?" Chen Tiansheng asked.
"These are terms used in the martial arts world. That's all you need to know!" Shi Jing smiled.
"Can you cultivate?" Chen Tiansheng asked.
"I can't!"
“I have a different constitution,” Shi Jingdao said.
"It seems that the runes formed by different physical attributes are different colors!" Chen Tiansheng said.
"The runes you conjured are golden!"
"And your senior sister is white!"
“That’s right.” Shi Jing nodded.
When the chill reached the old hermit's shoulder, his entire right arm turned into an ice sculpture, lying there horizontally.
"Flame Talisman!" In desperation, the old hermit drew a talisman in the air, and a fire talisman instantly formed, bursting into flames to burn the ice arm.
But before it could fly close, it was suppressed and extinguished by the cold air.
"Even flames can't harm it!"
"You have a pure ice physique?" The old hermit was shocked again, looking at Liu Xue.
Liu Xue did not respond, but threw a punch, and the old hermit's icy arm immediately turned into fragments that scattered on the ground.
"Even if you hadn't told me, I would have guessed it!"
"Take this!" The old hermit channeled his inner energy into the staff, and the withered wooden staff immediately emitted a green light, like an old tree sprouting new buds. He swung it fiercely, smashing it towards Liu Xue.
Liu Xue didn't move, her smile unchanged, as she looked at him.
"Block!" Snowflake-shaped runes flew out again, floating above the head and blocking the staff that was about to fall.
At the same time, the cold air penetrated the staff, turning the wooden staff into an ice staff wherever it passed.
"Great Primordial Palm!" Having just suffered a loss, the old hermit dared not be reckless again. He discarded his wooden staff, mobilized all the internal energy in his body and distributed it to his palm. His left palm immediately doubled in size, accompanied by a whistling sound, and struck towards Liu Xue.
"It's over!" Liu Xue pointed her finger, and a snowflake flew out, slicing vertically.
"Pfft!" The palm was immediately sliced open, and everything in its path turned into ice. Even the splattered blood turned into clots.
The snowflakes sliced the old hermit's left arm in two icicles. When they reached his shoulder, the outer icicle broke off and fell to the ground.
