Having slept late the night before, Wang Shen arrived at his office close to noon. He then retrieved all the case files related to Han Mo's case. Holding the files in his hand, he flipped through them one by one.
At that moment, Liang Zichen suddenly appeared in the office in a hurry. Wang Shen glanced at Liang Zichen's flustered appearance, then put down the file in his hand and asked, "Have you discovered something?"
Liang Zichen swallowed hard, paused for a moment, and then replied, "Captain Wang, have you forgotten what day it is today?"

The wedding was held at a resort in the suburbs. Besides Wang Shen and Liang Zichen, Qi Huan and Acheng invited only their closest relatives and friends. None of Qi Huan's business associates were invited. Through the Han Lin incident, Qi Huan had come to terms with things, and so had her parents. The most important thing in life is to be happy and spend time with the one you love.
The wedding ceremony was held on a lawn by the lake, following a Western-style wedding ceremony. Acheng, dressed in a sharp suit, stood beside the pastor, gazing at the end of the flower-lined path.
Liang Zichen leaned close to Wang Shen's ear and said, "Captain Wang, it's really good to be a rich man."
Wang Shen glanced at Liang Zichen, shook his head, and asked in return, "Why do you say that?"
"Sigh!" Liang Zichen sighed heavily, then continued, "Look at Acheng." After saying that, Liang Zichen quietly pointed to Acheng, who was standing next to the pastor.
“I remember he looked very weak the last time I saw him, but look at him now. Not only can he walk freely, but his face, which was burned in the fire, seems to have almost healed. I think he must have had plastic surgery, and the most expensive kind at that.” Liang Zichen said, looking at Acheng with envy.
"You know about this?" Wang Shen glanced at Liang Zichen in surprise.
After shrug, Liang Zichen said, "In this era, everyone is well-read. Captain Wang, if you don't keep up with the times, you'll be left behind by this era."
After shaking his head, Wang Shen ignored Liang Zichen.
At that moment, the wedding march began to play. As the music started, Qi Huan, dressed in a wedding gown, appeared at the end of the flower-lined path. Suddenly, the music changed, and the melody shifted to something else entirely.
The groom was seen holding a microphone, humming the lyrics of a song. Similarly, the bride was also holding a microphone, humming the same lyrics in response.
"Aren't you touched?" At this moment, Xu Xiaolin suddenly appeared in front of Wang Shen.
Before Wang Shen could greet Xu Xiaolin, his gaze fell upon another person standing next to her. Wang Shen nodded and smiled at Xu Xiaolin, then turned his attention to the person standing beside him.
"Hello, Writer Lin." Xu Xiaolin gestured for Lin Su to sit next to Wang Shen, and then sat down next to Lin Su herself. Wang Shen greeted Lin Su and shook his hand.
"Officer Wang, it's been a long time," Lin Su said as he shook hands.
Wang Shen smiled and said, "It really has been a long time. Writer Lin once said he would help me investigate the case, but I waited for a long time and never saw him."
Hearing Wang Shen's words, Lin Su seemed a little embarrassed, scratched the back of his head, and did not respond.
"By the way, what brings Writer Lin here today?" In Wang Shen's memory, he didn't seem to recall any connection between Lin Su and Qi Huan.

Just as Wang Shen and Xu Xiaolin were talking, the bride and groom's duet had ended. Now, witnessed by all the guests, Acheng took a sparkling diamond ring from the ring box and placed it on Qi Huan's finger. Perhaps the happiest thing in the world is that the person I love is the one I marry.
