Chapter 5: Encountered a ruthless person

At the beginning, water and electricity were still supplied normally, and government helicopters would fly over from time to time to drop off some supplies and broadcast some words encouraging everyone to survive. Could it be that the uncle next door went out?

With doubts in his mind, Jiang Xianchuan turned on the surveillance camera he had installed earlier and called up the playback.

They were seen being chased by several zombies. The leader opened the door and the two of them went in and immediately closed it.

"You two losers! You ate all the little food we had at home? It's a shame to raise you!"

Then there was the sound of something being smashed and a little girl crying.

"Fuck, is this guy next door to us a domestic abuser?"

Shi Yi nodded. She had met the little girls next door before when she was at work. They were twins. Every time they saw her, they would call her sister sweetly. Shi Yi would also give them some candies from time to time.

But she also noticed bruises on the hands of the two little girls.

Shi Yi had called the police before, but they were always sent back.

Jiang Xianchuan thought again of the man's arrogant look that day, and suddenly became furious.

"Who is this guy across the street? I met him before, and he was so arrogant."

"His name is Tan Wei. He seems to be a physical education teacher at an experimental middle school. His daughters are twins. The elder one is Tan Yi and the younger one is Tan Fei. His wife ran away with someone else a long time ago."

The two men became alert as soon as they heard the doorbell ring. Shi Yi immediately checked the surveillance video and saw a young man covered in blood standing at the door.

Seeing that the person at the door was still, he went back into Tan Wei's house and came out with a piece of paper with a few words written on it: "The two little girls are starving to death."

Jiang Xianchuan and Shi Yi both saw this scene from the surveillance video. When the man saw no reaction, he returned to Tan Wei's house.

Shi Yi looked at Jiang Xianchuan. In fact, Jiang Xianchuan himself didn't know whether the young man's intention was friendly or not.

Just when the two were undecided, the young man appeared in the surveillance again, but this time, what he pulled out of Tan Wei's house was a corpse.

"Yes...it's Tan Wei!"

Shi Yi pointed at the surveillance screen, and Jiang Xianchuan also became anxious. Was the reason why he didn't hear Tan Wei's voice today because this young man killed him?

Jiang Xianchuan couldn't help but feel a chill on his back when he thought of this. "I want to open the door. I want to see what he means." If it was a threat, he would not be soft-hearted.

"Okay, I'll listen to you. I'll lie in ambush behind the door when the time comes."

So the two of them opened the door. Jiang Xianchuan looked at the young man in front of him. He didn't say a word, but just looked at himself indifferently.

"What do you mean?"

The boy glanced at the knife in Jiang Xianchuan's hand, then looked into his eyes again, "They are starving to death."

Hearing this, Jiang Xianchuan asked Shi Yi to take some bread and bottles of water to him, but the boy did not keep any for himself and gave them all to the two little girls.

Jiang Xianchuan was somewhat moved by the two sisters wolfing down their food, so he looked at the boy and asked, "Aren't you going to eat?"

But the boy did not answer himself. He just threw Tan Wei's body out of the corridor window, then returned to Tan Wei's house and closed the door.

Jiang Xianchuan immediately closed the door upon seeing this. His intuition told him that the young man in front of him was definitely not a simple person.
