Chapter 33 The Return of the Bad Friend

Rong Yu's handsome face froze for a moment until he put the piece of meat in his hand into his mouth and chewed it several times before he came to his senses.

"Brother Yin, are you going to sign me?"

"Yes, have you already signed with another company?" Yin Chengjue asked, resting his chin on his hand as he looked at him.

"No, no!" Rong Yu shook her head, looking somewhat aggrieved. "I thought Brother Yin was just out having hot pot with me. Turns out he has other part-time jobs too."

Yin Chengjue held up a finger and shook it in front of Rong Yu: "You've got it backwards. Signing a contract with you is my job, eating hot pot is just a side job."

Rong Yu's eyes suddenly lit up: "So, does that mean I'm your part-time boss?"

Yin Chengjue picked up a large amount of enoki mushrooms with his chopsticks and piled them into Rong Yu's bowl: "Eat yours."

After the meal, Yin Chengjue felt much better. When they parted, Rong Yu said that she wanted to go back and think it over carefully, and would give him an answer within three days.

Yin Chengjue did not think Rong Yu would agree immediately, after all, he needed to give others some time to evaluate Huansheng Entertainment.

Two days passed in the blink of an eye. Yin Chengjue did not receive Rong Yu's reply, but instead received news that his mischievous friend had returned to the country.

Qin Ershao fell in love with photography in high school. In college, despite his family's objections, he chose to major in photography and videography. Although he and Yin Chengjue were still in the same school, their majors were located in different parts of the country, so they rarely saw each other.

In addition, this idiot is always running around with a camera, like the wind, making it difficult to capture him in photos.

After graduating from university, this idiot went on a world tour, determined to capture the most beautiful scenery. Moreover, most of the places he went to had poor signal, so it wasn't unusual for him to only be able to exchange a few words every ten days or half a month.

Following the latest message from Qin Ershao, "Juezi, I'm coming back to China! My flight is at noon on the 20th of this month, come pick me up!", Yin Chengjue scrolled up and found that their last conversation was a month ago, when Qin Ershao sent an aerial view of the Amazon rainforest with the caption—Juezi, I'm going to embrace the most beautiful forest!

If the Qin family found out that this young master dared to go to such a dangerous place to take pictures during the rainy season, I guess Old Master Qin would be so angry that he would hire a thousand or so mercenaries to arrest him there.

"Juezizizizizi~" A mesmerizing voice came from behind. Yin Chengjue nimbly dodged to the side, causing the figure to miss its target and fall to the ground in a frog-like posture.

"Ugh! How could you do this! Is this how you treat your brothers whom you haven't seen for so long?" Young Master Qin complained angrily.

"The fact that I didn't notify your dad or your brother right away is already the greatest respect I can show to our friendship." Yin Chengjue glanced at his two large suitcases and reluctantly helped him pull one of them.

"Juezi, please take me in for a few days! I'll only stay for a few days. If I go home, they'll definitely pester me. I can't let my wings of freedom be tied!" Young Master Qin clasped his hands together, his big, watery eyes wide open, his face full of pleading.

"My house isn't suitable for living in right now." Yin Chengjue understood that Qin Ershao was out of touch with the news in those godforsaken places, so he briefly explained what had happened recently.

"Holy crap? What a scumbag! Aunt Yin is a perfect woman, beautiful and talented, capable and gentle. Where can you find such a wonderful woman?!" Young Master Qin exclaimed indignantly.

Yin Chengjue looked at him strangely for a moment: "What? You've been holding back for so many years, and now you finally have a chance to compete to become my stepfather?"

Young Master Qin's eyes widened: "How could you think that? Although it feels good to hear you call me Dad, I want to live a few more years to embrace my freedom. I don't want to shorten my lifespan, thank you!"

Yin Chengjue parked his car at a hotel, handed Qin Ershao and his luggage to the waiter, and stuffed the room key he had prepared earlier into Qin Ershao's pocket.

"Presidential suite, absolutely confidential, you're welcome." Yin Chengjue patted his shoulder.

Qin Ershao's expression was like that of a discarded cabbage, his eyes filled with accusation as he looked at Yin Chengjue who turned and left.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Young Master Qin ran over and clung tightly to Yin Chengjue's car window: "Before I boarded the plane, I heard people in the group say that Fengchengda's company and the Murong family's company were competing for a piece of land. At the time, I thought it was the Yin family. Now that I hear you say this, Fengchengda has been abandoned by the Yin family, so it must be his own company competing for it?"

Yin Chengjue paused as he was about to start the car: "Where? Where?"

"Well, I don't know the specifics, but there is such a thing. You can look it up yourself, it might be useful. Sigh, I wasn't concerned about that land at the time, but rather about the youngest son of the Murong family running away from home." As Qin Ershao spoke, he showed an admiring expression: "I heard that he had a big fight with Old Man Murong, and then single-handedly overthrew his two older brothers, and then ran away by climbing over the wall."

Although Yin Chengjue wasn't particularly interested in such gossip, he couldn't help but ask, "How come I remember that the second son of the Murong family joined the army five years ago?"

Qin Ershao thought of his older brother and guessed, "He probably went easy on him. After all, he's his own brother, how could he dare to go too far?"

Yin Chengjue: "Oh."

Qin Ershao was still peering out the window, winking and saying, "Hey! Why don't you ask that fierce Murong Laosan why he ran away from home? That's the key to this gossip!"

Yin Chengjue looked at his hand, guessing that if he didn't finish explaining, this guy probably wouldn't let his car off the hook, so he reluctantly asked, "Why?"

"Hehe, because he came out!"
