Chapter 196 Time Reversal, Exchange Symbols

He silently chanted in his mind, "Use!"

This time, he was determined to save him no matter what.

"Please select a point in the past to return to!"

Luo Yunhang thought for a moment and realized that he had to go back to the moment of the final explosion in order to truly save him.

If he had gone back to an earlier time, Bai Yan and the others might still have participated in the operation, and casualties would have been difficult to avoid.

The best time is at the very moment of the final explosion, to save Xiao Zuo and perfectly prevent Yuan Laosan from escaping.

Luo Yunhang chose a good time.

A wave of dizziness washed over him, and he was back in that moment.

Yuan Laosan tore open his clothes: "Then you'll die with me! Be buried with our brothers!" After saying that, he pulled the safety on the grenade.

Luo Yunhang turned around and saw Xiao Zuo rushing towards him from behind.

He quickly hugged Xiao Zuo back, and the two fell to the ground in that instant.

Luo Yunhang then took him into the space, and also took the things that Yuan Laosan had thrown on the ground into the space.

Because Xiao Zuo was not the owner of the space, he lost consciousness as soon as he entered the space.

Meanwhile, Yuan Laosan outside thought he had died a worthy death and even gained two lives, but unexpectedly, the two men disappeared miraculously, along with his belongings.

However, he had no chance to think about the reason anymore, because the next moment, he was blown to pieces, a gruesome sight.

Luo Yunhang felt nauseous upon seeing the disgusting surface in the miniature space, but he suppressed his discomfort and immediately took Xiao Zuo and the other things out of the space, placing them a little further away.

Xiang Tianhong and Bai Yan will arrive soon; we can't let them see through our plan.

Two minutes later, Bai Yan and Xiang Tianhong arrived from both sides.

Luo Yunhang said that Yuan Laosan originally wanted to die with them, but Xiao Zuo was knocked unconscious by the explosion. He rolled to the side with him and they barely escaped the power of the explosion.

Everyone was relieved.

Sure enough, Xiao Zuo woke up shortly afterward, but he didn't remember what happened. He only remembered that he had tackled Luo Yunhang, but he had no recollection of what happened after that.

"It's good that he's alive." That was the only thought in everyone's mind when they saw Yuan Laosan's remains on the ground.

The main force over there quickly brought the rest of the people under control.

Next came the purge of Yuan Laosan's group and the things left behind.

Because Luo Yunhang protected them in time, they were all intact.

The police were good at dealing with Yuan Laosan and his gang, but they were not so good at identifying cultural relics. So they asked Luo Yunhang, Xiang Tianhong and Yuan Tiangang to act as temporary appraisers to help classify and register these items.

The three of them had no choice but to run around all night, and only returned home in the early morning after finishing their work.

Despite being exhausted, Luo Yunhang felt incredibly at ease, even though he had used a precious Time Reversal Card, which he had obtained after saving an entire plane full of people.

It feels so liberating not having to carry the weight of other people's lives.

Seeing that Xiao Zuo was still running around busily, and that his family hadn't cried bitterly or felt despair because of his loss, Luo Yunhang felt that everything was worthwhile.

There was also an unexpected surprise.

"The host has used a precious card to help others, demonstrating great love and selflessness. The system will reward you with an extra exchange token. Please claim and use it yourself."

Luo Yunhang studied the newly appeared talisman and found it quite interesting, somewhat like a deception.

You can exchange any item for another, swapping two items remotely without anyone noticing; even surveillance cameras wouldn't be able to detect it.

It's a great product; if used correctly, it's incredibly effective.

Xiang Tianhong and Yuan Tiangang were quite frustrated. They had run around all night and gotten nothing, and they were almost accidentally injured. What bad luck!

Fortunately, they heard the next day that the two Japanese devils, Watanabe and Kawai, had been robbed the night before when they ran out, and the several boxes of money they were carrying were stolen.

Yuan Tiangang laughed the loudest: "Damn Japanese devils, they deserve it!"

This incident made them stay quiet for a while, and they dared not participate in such underground auctions again.

-

Luo Yunhang has started school.

The first thing I'll be working on this semester is the restoration of sculptures and murals.

Master Li has contacted his old friend who does mural restoration at the Thousand Buddha Caves in Gansu Province and has decided to take them to Gansu Province for an on-site inspection.

Before they went, they had already learned the basics of mural restoration and some basic techniques.

Besides Master Li, there were three other senior disciples in the group.

After hearing about it, Xiang Tianhong became quite interested in the trip to Gansu Province, so he asked Master Li to take him along.

The group of six quickly flew to Gansu Province.

After arriving in Gansu Province, I changed vehicles several times, and on the last trip I even rode in a local donkey cart, finally making my way to the Thousand Buddha Caves in Dunhuang, also known as the Mogao Caves.

The Mogao Caves are not a single cave, but rather the entire complex of caves, stretching 1,600 meters in length and divided into north and south sections. There are nearly 500 caves with existing murals and sculptures, the vast majority of which are located in the south section.

The Mogao Grottoes contain tens of thousands of square meters of murals, more than 3,000 painted sculptures, and five wooden cave eaves from the Tang and Song dynasties.

The grottoes are mainly composed of painted sculptures, with murals painted on the four walls and ceiling. The ground is covered with patterned bricks, and there are eaves and walkways outside the grottoes. The grottoes are interconnected, making it a Buddhist cultural relic that combines grotto architecture, painted sculptures, and murals.

The painted clay sculptures include images of Buddha, Bodhisattvas, disciples, Heavenly Kings, strongmen, Arhats, and eminent monks.

The murals depict single figures such as Buddha, Bodhisattvas, disciples, heavenly kings, warriors, Brahma, and Arhats.

There are paintings depicting the mythical and biographical stories of Shakyamuni Buddha, from conception and birth to growth, enlightenment, subjugation of demons, and attainment of Buddhahood.
