Leopard's thirty-odd men grabbed their weapons and followed their leader to the warehouse.
When they arrived at the warehouse, they saw more than a dozen people inside counting banknotes with a banknote counting machine.
Scorpion sat on a recliner, smoking and watching his men work.
Suddenly, a noisy sound of footsteps came from behind him. He turned around and saw Leopard leading a group of people walking towards him menacingly.
Scorpion hurriedly opened his phone and sent a message to his trusted confidant.
Then he got up and calmly walked towards the leopard.
"Leopard, what's the meaning of all this commotion?" Scorpion asked coldly, narrowing his eyes.
The leopard gritted its teeth: "Scorpion, stop pretending! You dare to cheat me at the gambling table!"
Scorpion scoffed: "Where's the evidence? Don't make baseless accusations!"
The leopard was furious: "My intuition is right, I'm going to settle this score with you today!"
The scorpion snorted: "Trying to cause trouble, huh? I, the scorpion, am not afraid of you!"
Just as the two were about to clash, Scorpion's confidant arrived with a group of men, making the situation even more tense.
"Scorpion, putting aside the card game, why didn't you inform me or discuss it with me before selling the gang's assets? Were you planning to keep all that money for yourself?"
Scorpion said with a disdainful look: "I am the gang leader, so of course I have the final say. But I have no intention of taking everything for myself. I just asked the brothers to take stock, and then we will divide the men equally between the two sides. I don't think I've done anything wrong. Brothers, am I right?"
The leopard sneered, "Then tell me, how many houses did you sell, and how much money did you get?"
"What's wrong with saying this? I sold ten houses for a total of 30 million."
Leopard's face darkened: "I received reliable information that it was fifty million, how come you're saying it's twenty million less?"
Scorpion remained unmoved by his words: "Where did you get this information from? It's complete nonsense! This house only sold for thirty million, not a penny more."
The leopard, enraged, laughed: "Scorpion, do you think I'm a three-year-old? If you don't explain this money matter clearly today, we're not done yet!"
Scorpion snorted: "Leopard, don't push me too far. I, Scorpion, have always been upright and honest in my dealings. If I didn't take it, I didn't take it."
At this point, Scorpion's and Leopard's men also began to stir, shouting and making the situation increasingly chaotic.
Scorpion hurriedly shouted to stop them: "Don't be impulsive. Since you don't believe me, Leopard, I can call that Boss Chen and have him tell you himself."
As he spoke, Scorpion took out his phone and dialed Boss Chen's number. A moment later, the call was connected.
Scorpion pressed the speakerphone button: "Hello, Mr. Chen, this is Scorpion. What was the exact transaction amount for those ten houses we sold last time?"
On the other end of the phone, Chen Ze's lips curled up slightly, and then his voice came through: "Boss Scorpion, it's fifty million. I've given you all the money. Is it really worth asking about this again?"
Because it was hands-free, everyone present could hear it clearly.
The leopard's face darkened as he shouted, "Scorpion, the evidence is complete. What do you have to say for yourself now?"
Scorpion was stunned; he hadn't expected Chen Ze to dare spout such nonsense.
A fierce glint flashed in the leopard's eyes. He waved his hand and said, "Brothers, charge! Scorpion Box has hoarded all the wealth. He's ruthless and unjust. Kill him!"
Seeing that the situation was not good, Scorpion retreated while shouting, "Leopard, there must be a misunderstanding here. I really didn't take that 20 million."
But by this time, Leopard's men had already surged forward like a tidal wave. Seeing this, Scorpion's men had no choice but to bite the bullet and fight back, and for a moment the warehouse was filled with shouts of battle.
The entire warehouse resounded with the clanging of weapons, and people were being chopped down from time to time. In no time, the ground was filled with cries of agony.
The leopard and the scorpion fought fiercely, evenly matched, and neither could gain the upper hand for a time.
Zeng Bojian, who was secretly watching the show from a second-floor window of a house, had a faint smile on his lips. He took out his phone and dialed his boss's number.
"Hey boss, they've started fighting like dogs, and it's a bit bloody."
The voice on the other end of the phone said, "You stay there and watch. I'll bring some people in to clean up the stall in five minutes."
Chen Ze hung up the phone, looked at the ten tattooed men lying on the ground by the door with disdain.
The monkey handed him a cigarette: "Boss Chen, when is Young Master Zhao coming?"
Chen Ze patted him on the shoulder: "Monkey, you've done a great job. Young Master Zhao has already led his men to ambush outside the village entrance. I called him and told him to bring his men in. Scorpion and his men have already started fighting."
Chen Ze quickly dialed Zhao Gongzi's number: "Zhao Gongzi, it's time to take action."
Mr. Zhao replied on the other end of the phone, "Okay, I'll be right there."
Not long after, a series of hurried and orderly footsteps came from afar.
Immediately afterwards, Young Master Zhao led a large and imposing army into view. The army was dressed in uniform green military uniforms, looking dashing and awe-inspiring.
The thirty armed police officers at the front were fully armed, holding guns, with serious expressions, exuding a chilling aura.
At this moment, Scorpion, Leopard, and the others, who were engaged in a fierce battle inside the warehouse, stopped what they were doing upon hearing the commotion and stared in disbelief at the uninvited guests who had suddenly barged in.
For a moment, the entire warehouse fell into a deathly silence, with only the heavy breathing of both sides rising and falling.
Upon seeing this, the city police chief leading the team shouted without hesitation, "Don't move! Stop right now! We are police officers, and we order you to put down your weapons immediately!"
His voice was as loud as a bell, echoing endlessly in the empty warehouse, making people's eardrums buzz.
