Chapter 220 Amy's Grievance

Annie slammed the door shut so loudly that it startled Chen Ze awake from his dream, causing him to abruptly open his still blurry eyes.

As his vision gradually cleared, Chen Ze was surprised to find a slender, fair hand, as white as snow and as smooth and delicate as mutton fat jade, resting quietly on his chest.

The sudden touch startled him, and he instinctively turned his head to see who the hand belonged to.

What he saw struck him like a thunderbolt, leaving him completely dumbfounded.

Beside him lay a woman with a hot figure and stunning beauty. This woman was none other than Amy, who had blonde hair and blue eyes.

At that moment, their eyes met, and the four gazes collided in the air, creating invisible sparks. Chen Ze was so frightened that he sat up abruptly as if he had a spring in his buttocks.

Amy, on the other hand, seemed quite calm. She turned her head slightly and said in a soft voice, "You're awake?"

However, Chen Ze was in no mood to listen to her at this moment. He stared wide-eyed at the naked Amy in front of him, his face full of disbelief.

After a long pause, he stammered, "Miss Amy... how did I end up in your room?"

Upon hearing this, Amy first gave him a coquettish glare, and then slowly began to explain.

“You drank too much last night and accidentally barged into my room. Not only did you vomit everywhere, making a huge mess, but it took me a lot of effort to clean it up.”

"Who knew that you would hold my hand so tightly and not let go? I really couldn't break free, and that's how we ended up sleeping together in a daze."

After saying this, Amy gently lifted the blanket, revealing the spotless white sheet. Shockingly, right in the center of the sheet was a pool of bright red blood.

Seeing this, Chen Ze felt as if his brain had turned into a mess, and he was completely unable to think.

He tried desperately to recall what had happened last night, but his head was heavy and dizzy, as if it were filled with lead.

The only thing he could recall was that he had indeed drunk quite a bit of red wine the night before, but he had no recollection of what happened afterward.

Thinking of this, Chen Ze couldn't help but blush, his heart filled with endless embarrassment and guilt.

So he quickly lowered his head and repeatedly apologized to Amy, hoping to gain her forgiveness.

At this moment, Amy slowly spoke up: "I heard your secretary say yesterday that in China, if something like this happens, the man has to take responsibility."

Her gaze was fixed on Chen Ze, her eyes revealing a firmness and unquestionable resolve.

Upon hearing this, Chen Ze's eyes widened suddenly, and his mouth opened so wide it looked like an egg could fit inside. He thought to himself: Why is Shen Xiyu talking to me about this kind of thing?

Chen Ze stammered as he explained, "Amy, this... this really was just an accident."

However, his flustered expression did not change Amy's mind.

Amy remained serious and solemnly replied, "But in our country, the same principle applies. Since you've taken advantage of me, you should take full responsibility for me."

These words struck Chen Ze like a hammer blow, leaving him momentarily at a loss. His mind became a chaotic mess, with various thoughts darting around like headless flies.

Just at this awkward moment, a series of hurried footsteps suddenly came from outside the door.

Immediately afterwards, a soft "click" was heard, and the door was slowly pushed open. The Louis couple walked in first, followed closely by Anne and her daughter.

As soon as Louis entered the room, he immediately got into character and began to showcase his superb acting skills.

His eyes widened in anger, and he pointed at Chen Ze, shouting loudly:

“Mr. Chen, you despicable bastard! Last night I saw you were drunk, so I kindly offered you a place to stay for the night. I never expected you to do something so beastly and sleep with my precious daughter, Amy.”

"Cough cough!" Chen Ze quickly cleared his throat, trying to calm himself down.

He took a deep breath and quickly explained to Louis, "Dear Mr. Louis, please believe me, this really was just a pure accident. I swear, I did not do it intentionally."

Despite Chen Ze's best efforts to explain, the tense atmosphere in the room did not seem to ease in the slightest.

Anne, standing behind Louis, suggested, "Uncle, why don't we call the police and make him go to jail to repent?"

Amy on the bed refused, "No, what if I have a child while he's in jail? Dad, Mom, how about we find another solution?"

"Amy, what do you suggest we do?" Louis asked with a stern face.

The father and daughter sang in harmony, much like the folk opera "Errenzhuan" from Northeast China.

Only Chen Ze looked completely bewildered, utterly unaware that he had been tricked by someone else.

Amy didn't answer her father's question, but stared into Chen Ze's eyes: "Mr. Chen, you are a responsible and dependable man. You are willing to take responsibility, right?"

"Amy, how do you want me to take responsibility?" Chen Ze asked.

A subtle smile appeared on Amy's face. "Nonsense, of course you'd marry me. Otherwise, how would I face people in public?"

Chen Ze was inwardly groaning. He had his own career in China and a girlfriend he was about to get engaged to. How could he possibly marry and settle down here? But the current situation didn't allow him to think about it too much.
