Chen Ze rode the elevator straight up and finally came to a steady stop on the thirty-ninth floor.
Just as the elevator doors slowly opened, a beautiful figure appeared in the doorway.
She was a beautiful woman with a graceful figure and a pretty face. She smiled and waited quietly for Chen Ze and his group to arrive.
As the elevator doors opened fully, a group of men in suits followed closely behind Chen Ze, marching out of the elevator in a grand and orderly fashion.
Upon seeing this, the beautiful woman immediately stepped forward and said softly, "Hello, Mr. Chen, I am the chairman's secretary. I have been waiting for you here. Please come with me."
Chen Ze nodded slightly in response.
Before long, the secretary led Chen Ze and the others through a spacious and bright corridor to the door of Little Ma's office.
The secretary gently pushed open the door, stepped aside to let Chen Ze into the office, and then carefully closed the door behind her.
Upon entering the office, the first thing that catches the eye is a peaceful and serene scene.
There sat Little Ma, facing an elderly man in a Taoist robe with a long beard, leisurely savoring fragrant tea.
Upon seeing Chen Ze enter, Brother Ma quickly put down his teacup, waved enthusiastically at him, and said with a smile, "Junior, come and enjoy this excellent tea with me."
A humble smile appeared on Chen Ze's face. He walked quickly to the table, pulled over a chair, and sat down comfortably.
Little Ma then introduced the old man beside him to Chen Ze: "This is Master Ziwei from the Celestial Master's Mansion of Longhu Mountain. He has come to pay a special visit today."
Upon hearing this, Chen Ze quickly stood up, respectfully bowed to Daoist Ziwei, and politely greeted her, "Hello, Daoist Ziwei!"
Master Ziwei smiled slightly, stroked his long beard, and looked Chen Ze up and down with great interest. Then, he raised his hands and clasped them in return.
"Young friend Chen, I was truly amazed when I heard Mr. Ma mention your remarkable achievements as a rising star."
Chen Ze humbly replied, "I just had a bit of luck." He was somewhat puzzled as to why Brother Ma was so respectful to a Taoist priest.
At this moment, Brother Ma interjected, "Master Ziwei is not only a feng shui master, but also a philosopher."
In his previous life, Chen Ze was just a nobody who had never even heard of Master Ziwei.
After taking a sip of tea, Master Ziwei slowly asked, "Young friend Chen, you have conquered such a vast empire, but I wonder which path you have taken?"
Chen Ze: "??????"
This question was like a complex and intricate puzzle, plunging him into deep thought. Chen Ze closed his eyes tightly and began to recall the path he had walked in his mind.
Since embarking on this long journey, he has never thought so deeply about which path he has chosen to take.
Meanwhile, Master Ziwei, sitting opposite Chen Ze, also closed his eyes, quietly waiting for Chen Ze to give his answer. Little Ma, standing to the side, leisurely picked up his teacup, took a sip of the fragrant tea, and then fell silent, afraid of disturbing Chen Ze, who was deep in thought.
Time flies by, and in the blink of an eye, fifteen minutes have passed in the blink of an eye.
Finally, Chen Ze slowly opened his eyes. His gaze was calm as water, yet it seemed to contain a hint of unwavering determination.
He spoke calmly, “Master, to be honest, I hadn’t seriously considered this issue before. However, after some deep thought just now, I suddenly realized that perhaps the way of the wolf is more in line with my personality and pursuits.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Master Ziwei opened his eyes. He first nodded slightly, indicating his agreement with Chen Ze's words, then a faint smile appeared on his lips as he softly said:
"The way of the wolf, huh? That does indeed match your style of doing things quite well. As we all know, wolves possess cunning and adaptable intelligence, unwavering perseverance, and strong teamwork abilities. But it cannot be ignored that the way of the wolf is also filled with fierce competition and ruthless plunder."
Chen Ze nodded seriously, "What the Taoist priest said is absolutely right, but the business world is like a battlefield, where the strong prey on the weak. If you are not ruthless and decisive enough, it will be difficult to gain a foothold."
At this point, Pony Ma put down his teacup and said, "But won't blindly following the wolf's code also lose people's hearts? After all, we, as businesses, must also take social responsibility into account."
Chen Ze pondered for a moment, “Senior’s reminder is right. In fact, I also found in the process of development that simply relying on the wolf way is not enough. I should also have the way of inclusiveness, attract talents, and unite the forces of all parties.”
A hint of approval flashed in Master Ziwei's eyes. "Young friend Chen has extremely high comprehension. The balance of Yin and Yang is the way to long-term success. Although the wolf is fierce, the way of tolerance can make up for its shortcomings. Only by combining strength and gentleness can one go far and achieve stability."
Chen Ze suddenly understood. "Thank you for your guidance, Daoist Master. I have truly benefited greatly today."
Brother Ma laughed heartily, "This tea wasn't a waste of time; our conversation was worth a fortune."
The room was filled with the aroma of tea, creating a harmonious and pleasant atmosphere.
Just then, Master Ziwei suddenly changed the subject, "However, young friend Chen, although it is feasible to combine strength and gentleness, things in the world are ever-changing, and we still need to be prepared to deal with crises."
Chen Ze asked curiously, "Does the Taoist priest have any insightful opinions?"
Master Ziwei smiled mysteriously, “The ancient Bagua formation can generate countless variations. If this principle is applied to business planning, one may be able to remain calm in the face of crisis.”
Chen Ze's eyes lit up. He knew that the situation in the business world was constantly changing, and having more strategies meant having more protection.
Little Ma was also very interested, "Taoist Master, could you explain in detail?"
Master Ziwei stood up, walked to the window, and looked at the bustling street scene outside, saying:
"With the core industry at the center, like the Tai Chi symbol in Bagua, other related industries are arranged around it, interconnected yet operating independently. If one party changes, the others can quickly adjust and rebuild the balance."
Chen Ze pondered the Taoist priest's words carefully, feeling as if a new door had been opened for him.
Little Ma nodded repeatedly, "This is indeed a completely new concept, and it's worth studying carefully."
Master Ziwei turned back to his seat, picked up his teacup, and took a sip. "This is just one idea. How to implement it depends on your own destiny, young friend Chen."
After listening, both of them looked thoughtful, and the room was once again filled with a quiet yet vibrant atmosphere of contemplation.
Master Ziwei has a wealth of philosophical knowledge, and listening to his long explanation has greatly benefited him.
After chatting for another half hour, Chen Ze said goodbye to Pony Ma and left the Tencent building.
On the high-rise building, Little Ma watched Chen Ze's convoy leave and couldn't help but sigh, "The younger generation surpasses the older."
The reason for this sigh is that he didn't have Chen Ze's achievements at the age of twenty.
