Shen Nanpeng nodded. He had also checked and found that Panda Takeout had another shareholder, Pony Ma of Tencent.
“Okay, remember to call me back after you and Mr. Ma have discussed it.” After saying that, Shen Nanpeng handed him a gold card and said, “This is my business card.”
Chen Ze smiled and accepted the business card, politely replying, "Okay, I will definitely let you know in time."
The two then continued their conversation in the spacious, bright office, focusing on investments. They discussed market trends, potential investment opportunities, and various related topics, exchanging views and experiences.
Time slipped by unnoticed, and two hours had passed in the blink of an eye.
Just as they were chatting enthusiastically, Chen Ze's cell phone, which was on the table, suddenly rang, breaking the silence in the office.
He glanced at the screen and saw it was an unfamiliar number. After hesitating for a moment, he pressed the answer button anyway.
A deep, magnetic voice came from the other end of the phone: "Hello, is this Mr. Chen? This is Ge Weidong."
Chen Ze's heart skipped a beat; it was Ge Weidong calling. He quickly replied, "Oh, Mr. Ge, hello, hello!"
Ge Weidong said directly, "President Chen, many people here are waiting for you. When will you arrive?"
Chen Ze then remembered that he had a lunch appointment, and he quickly explained to Ge Weidong, "Mr. Ge, I'm so sorry, I had something come up and was delayed. I'll be there in about half an hour."
Ge Weidong expressed his understanding and said, "Okay, then we'll wait for you."
After hanging up the phone, Chen Ze said to Shen Nanpeng with some helplessness, "Mr. Shen, I'm really sorry, we may have to discuss the investment in more detail later. I have other things to take care of at noon, and I can't keep them waiting too long."
Shen Nanpeng smiled and nodded, stood up, and said, "It's alright, you go ahead and do your thing. We can talk again when we have time."
Chen Ze glanced gratefully at Shen Nanpeng, then stood up and saw Shen Nanpeng to the door.
After seeing Shen Nanpeng off, Chen Ze sorted out his thoughts, then picked up his phone and bag, preparing to head to the Regent International Hotel.
As he walked, he wondered what Ge Weidong wanted to see him about.
