Two hours later, Chen Ze's vehicle finally arrived safely in Shenzhen.
Throughout the long drive, Chen Ze remained silent, his thoughts seemingly drifting far away.
In the car, seeing that Chen Ze hadn't said anything, Zhao Youde finally couldn't help but ask, "Boss, are we going straight to the company now, or should we go home and rest first?"
Chen Ze snapped out of his reverie, thought for a moment, and replied, "Let's go to the company first."
So Zhao Youde drove towards the company.
About half an hour later, the car slowly came to a stop downstairs at the company.
The bodyguard opened the car door, and Chen Ze got out. He looked up at the Nanshan Building, took a deep breath, and then stepped into the company gate.
As soon as he entered, Xiao Mei at the front desk noticed Chen Ze. Her eyes lit up immediately, and she stood up, smiling broadly as she greeted him respectfully, "Hello, Mr. Chen!"
Chen Ze smiled and nodded to Xiao Mei, then walked straight to his office.
Upon arriving at the office, Chen Ze found that his secretary had been waiting for him for quite some time.
Upon seeing him enter, the secretary hurried forward, handed him a thick stack of documents, and said, "Mr. Chen, these are important company documents and matters to be handled in the past few days. Please take a look."
Chen Ze took the document, walked to his desk, sat down, and began to carefully read through it.
After working on some documents for a while, there was a sudden knock on the office door. Chen Ze looked up and saw the marketing manager rushing in.
"Mr. Chen, I have some great news to tell you!" the marketing manager said excitedly. "Our Panda Takeout is receiving a very positive response in the market. According to the latest statistics, our customer base more than doubled in the first quarter."
Upon hearing this, Chen Ze smiled with satisfaction. He leaned back in his chair, carefully examined the document in his hand, and then nodded to the marketing manager in approval.
Just at this critical moment, a sudden cell phone ringtone sounded on the table.
His gaze quickly swept to the phone screen, and when he saw the familiar nickname, a surge of excitement welled up inside him.
The words "mistress" flashed on the screen, as if urging him to answer the call quickly.
Without hesitation, he reached out and touched the phone. Immediately, Liu Bingjie's anxious voice came from the other end: "Honey, come back quickly! Siyu is about to give birth!"
These few words exploded in his ears like a thunderclap, shaking him to his core.
"What? Really? I'll be right back!" His voice was filled with disbelief and excitement as he hurriedly stood up from his chair.
He was so excited that he was almost unsteady on his feet, but he didn't care. After hanging up the phone, he had only one thought in his mind—to get home as soon as possible.
He strode up to the marketing manager, shoved the documents into the manager's arms, and said urgently, "Take these documents to General Manager Wang for processing. I have an urgent matter to attend to at home."
The marketing manager was clearly startled by his appearance, but quickly nodded and replied, "Yes, Chairman."
Without saying a word, Chen Ze turned around and rushed towards the elevator like an arrow.
The elevator doors slowly opened, and he stepped inside, then kept pressing the close button, as if waiting even a second longer was torture.
Finally, the elevator arrived at the first floor, and as soon as the door opened, he rushed out like a gust of wind.
Zhao Youde saw his boss rushing around from afar and knew that something important must have happened. He quickly went to meet him and opened the car door for Chen Ze.
"Hurry! Uncle De, get back to the Chiwan villa as fast as you can!" Chen Ze shouted anxiously as soon as he got into the car.
"Yes, boss." Zhao Youde replied, then stepped on the gas without hesitation, and the car sped off instantly.
Unexpectedly, his phone rang again shortly after he drove off.
He quickly pressed the answer button, "Hello, what's wrong with my wife now?"
On the other end of the phone, Liu Bingjie said quickly, "Honey, I've already arranged for a car to take Siyu to the People's Hospital. You can come directly to the hospital."
"Okay! I understand, I'll be right there." Chen Ze hung up the phone and immediately instructed Zhao Youde, "Uncle De, change your route to the People's Hospital."
Zhao Youde quickly turned the car around and sped towards the People's Hospital.
Throughout the journey, Chen Ze was extremely anxious, his eyes fixed on the scenery outside the window, praying that he could arrive as soon as possible.
Finally, the car stopped in front of the hospital. Chen Ze pushed open the car door and rushed into the hospital.
Outside the obstetrics and gynecology ward, he saw Liu Bingjie looking anxious, and a group of bodyguards guarding the door.
As soon as Liu Bingjie saw him, she rushed over and said, "Honey, Siyu is still inside."
Chen Ze held her hand and said with concern, "Don't worry, everything will be alright. Don't stand all the time with your big belly, go sit over there." After saying that, he helped Liu Bingjie sit down in an empty seat.
Chen Ze kept his eyes fixed on the entrance to the maternity ward, his heart filled with anxiety, silently praying for the safety of both mother and child.
He paced back and forth at the doorway with his hands behind his back.

Just then, a baby's loud cry came from inside.

The ward door opened, and a nurse came out carrying a baby wrapped in a small blanket, smiling and saying, "Congratulations, it's a healthy little boy." Chen Ze and Liu Bingjie's eyes welled up with tears of excitement.
Then, the doctor came out and said to them, "The mother is doing very well, but the delivery process was a bit difficult."
"Thank you so much, you've worked so hard." Chen Ze quickly thanked the doctor.
Entering the ward, Chen Ze was filled with joy and emotion as he looked at Si Yu, whose face was still a little pale, and their adorable baby. He gently held Si Yu's hand and said, "Thank you for everything, my wife." The family was immersed in the joy of the arrival of their new life.
Wang Siyu smiled happily and said, "Honey, it's not tiring at all."
Liu Bingjie carried the baby to the bedside and said happily, "Siyu, look, the baby's nose and eyes look just like your husband's!"
"Sister Bing, how can my offspring not resemble me? Let me hold it!" Chen Ze said with a smile.
Liu Bingjie carefully handed the child to Chen Ze. The little guy had rosy cheeks, closed eyes, and occasionally smacked his lips. Chen Ze's heart was almost melted by his cuteness.
He gently rocked the child in his arms, his eyes full of love, and Chen Ze gently teased the child's mouth with his finger.
However, at that moment, the child burst into tears.
Chen Ze panicked and frantically tried to soothe her, saying, "Baby, be good, don't cry."
Wang Siyu smiled weakly and said, "Honey, you're not holding me right."
Liu Bingjie also helped adjust Chen Ze's position while holding the child. Finally, the child stopped crying.
