Chen Ze arrived at the door and saw a group of skinny black boys shouting at the entrance.
Turning to Wang Zhengang beside him, he asked, "Are these people the villagers from near the mine?"
Wang Zhengang quickly explained that these were not villagers from the vicinity, but a group of street thugs from Wutian Town who liked to bully newly arrived foreigners and extort and threaten them for money.
Upon learning that they were not villagers from the neighborhood, Chen Ze immediately gave instructions.
"Since they're not villagers from the neighborhood, send a few men out to beat them up. Make sure they know we're not easy to bully."
Wang Zhengang accepted the order, quickly selected several strong and capable men, opened the door, and rushed out.
The black street thugs, who had been shouting arrogantly, were taken aback when they saw someone come out. Then they showed disdain and rushed up, brandishing their wooden sticks and other crude weapons.
Chen Ze's men were well-trained and worked in perfect coordination. They skillfully dodged the black men's attacks and then quickly counterattacked.
One of the henchmen seized the opportunity and kicked a black man in the stomach. The black man screamed and fell to the ground clutching his stomach.
Another henchman deftly dodged the wooden stick, and a grappling technique subdued another black man.
The street thugs were caught off guard by such a formidable opponent and panicked. Some tried to turn and run, while others continued to fight back, but to no avail.
Before long, most of the street thugs were beaten black and blue, lying on the ground howling in pain. The remaining few, seeing that things were not going well, took off running.
A slacker will always be a slacker; when faced with someone from a military background, he won't last a single round.
Chen Ze looked at the subdued thugs and said coldly in English, "Let me tell you, don't mess with us again, or it won't be so easy next time."
Unfortunately, they didn't understand a word Chen Ze said; all they knew was to nod and beg for mercy.
Not far away, on the roof of a three-story European-style villa, a middle-aged man with a full beard was watching all of this with great interest through binoculars.
At the same time, he muttered to himself, "This Wang Sheng brought a group of extraordinary people! I wonder what they're doing here with so many of them?"
A tall, blonde, blue-eyed woman standing next to him chimed in.
"What else could they be doing? They're probably planning to indoctrinate the black people here, just like they are in Rwanda and Ghana."
The man put down his binoculars and scoffed, "A bunch of stupid black people who only know how to eat and have babies. Even pigs are smarter than them. Trying to educate them is a waste of time and money."
“Mr. Pierre, I just saw more than ten SUVs they drove up. They look very much like Hummers from the United States. These cars aren’t cheap. It seems this Mr. Wang is a wealthy man,” the blonde woman said.
Pierre shook his head, directly refuting her words, and said seriously.
“Wang Sheng is just an observer acting as a forward. The real target should be that imposing young man. Didn’t you see how respectful he was to the young man? By the way, what was Wang Sheng’s reaction when I asked him to talk to me about selling the farm last time?”
“Mr. Pierre, I already spoke to him as you suggested last time, but he just said he needed a few days to think about it. I'm wondering if we asked for too much?”
“Too high a price? Impossible. My farm here covers fifty hectares. If my winery hadn’t been facing a crisis, I would never have sold it,” Pierre retorted.
The blonde woman thought for a moment, "It's also possible that Wang Sheng is just an administrator. He probably can't make the decision on such a huge transaction as two hundred million US dollars."
Pierre stroked his chin thoughtfully. "You're right. It seems we need to talk to that young man directly."
A calculating glint flashed in his eyes. The price of two hundred million dollars couldn't be lowered any further; this farm was something his grandfather had acquired at a huge cost.
Just then, his cell phone rang.
He glanced at the caller ID and saw it was his wife calling, so he quickly answered.
His wife's anxious voice came from the other end of the phone.
“Honey, when will you finish dealing with the McClure business? I only have three days left to pay my employees' salaries, as well as the warehouse rent, supplier payments, and store rent. The company doesn't have a single penny in the account right now. If you can't find the money in three days, we'll have to declare bankruptcy!”
After saying that, Pierre scratched his head and said irritably, "Honey, stop bragging. Three days is enough. You have to believe in my abilities. I won't let the winery go bankrupt. This is a business that my grandfather has passed down for a hundred years."
Then, Pierre said a lot of comforting words to his wife before hanging up the phone.
On the other hand, Chen Ze's farm only has two simple wooden houses, which are not enough to house more than 300 people.
Fortunately, Wang Zhengang was prepared, as he had purchased a large number of outdoor tents in advance, and the sky was gradually darkening.
He immediately ordered everyone to start setting up tents.
The group had a clear division of labor: some were responsible for moving tent materials, some for securing the frames, and some for laying out moisture-proof mats.
Before long, rows of neat tents were set up around the wooden house.
Looking at the results before him, Chen Ze nodded, quite satisfied with the capabilities of the three hundred security personnel.
That night, after washing up, Chen Ze called back to China to let his three wives know he was safe.
Because the farm is surrounded by a dense forest, the occasional howl of wolves and the cooing of birds kept Chen Ze awake for a long time.
Just as Chen Ze was tossing and turning, a commotion suddenly came from not far outside the wooden house.
He got up alertly, put on his clothes, and went out of the cabin. When he arrived at the farm gate, he saw several security guards surrounding a black woman, a father, and a daughter holding a baby a few months old.
