After Chen Ze finished singing a song, he handed the microphone to someone else, returned to the leather sofa, sat down, and started eating the snacks on the table.
He turned to look at Zhang Guoheng and saw him sitting next to the refined girl, fawning over her. Clearly, he was launching another "simp" offensive on her.
Zhang Guoheng used his chopsticks to pick up a pastry for the girl and said softly, "Hou, come on, have some of this pastry. It's very delicious. I just tried it and it's really good."
"Thank you," Hou Jing replied politely.
Hou Jing is Gu Bin's girlfriend's roommate. She was bored in the dormitory, so she came out to play with them.
A moment later, Zhang Guoheng picked up a chicken foot and put it in Hou Jing's bowl. "This chicken foot is also very delicious, but it's a little spicy. Try it."
"I'll give it a try," she said, putting on disposable gloves and picking up a chicken foot to gnaw on. Suddenly, she accidentally splashed juice into her eyes and let out a soft cry of "Ah!"
Zhang Guoheng asked anxiously, "What's wrong?"

Just then, Gu Bin walked over with a plate of fresh fruit and joked, "Look at Guo Heng, he's hopeless." Chen Ze smiled and said, "Maybe he's enjoying himself."
Zhang Guoheng waited anxiously outside the restroom. Hou Jing paused, surprised to see him still there when she came out. Zhang Guoheng quickly asked, "Are your eyes feeling better?"
Hou Jing nodded. "Much better, thank you."
Zhang Guoheng scratched his head. "You're welcome. As long as you're alright." With that, he went into the toilet to relieve himself.
Hou Jing had just returned to her seat when Chen Hao spotted her.
He sat down next to Hou Jing and extended his right hand to her: "Beautiful lady, you are very pretty. Let's get acquainted. My name is Chen Hao, and I am a college student at the Industrial University."
Hou Jing politely shook hands with him and said with a smile, "Hello, my name is Hou Jing, and I am from the Foreign Languages Department of Shenzhen University."
"Hey beautiful, do you have a boyfriend?"
Hou Jing smiled slightly: "The auditions are underway. Do you want to participate?"
Chen Hao said confidently, "If I participate, other men probably won't have a chance. A handsome young man like me who is rich and handsome is one in a million, a once-in-a-century occurrence."
"Pfft!" Hou Jing was amused by her. She carefully looked at the man and found him to be quite handsome. He was dressed well, wearing designer brands, and it was obvious that he was a rich man. He was a bit more handsome than the boy who had served her food earlier, and he also had a bit of a sense of humor.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" she asked softly.
Chen Hao sighed, "Yes, it is, but it's not stable. Sometimes I dream about it, and sometimes I don't."

Hou Jing couldn't stop laughing at his antics. She thought the man in front of her was very interesting and that she would be very happy to be with him.

Hou Jing nodded, got up, and followed him away.

When Zhang Guoheng returned from the restroom, he found Hou Jing was gone. He looked at Chen Ze and asked, "Old Chen, where is that refined-looking girl sitting here?"
"Old Zhang, you chatted with her for so long and you don't even know her name. You're such a failure. Tomorrow you should go and buy a dating guide and study it."
"I asked you where that girl with glasses went, and you gave me some kind of dating guide?"
Gu Bin, who was standing to the side, said irritably, "She's been run off with another man. You should find someone else."
Zhang Guoheng angrily shouted, "Who? Who ran away? Damn it, I'll fight him one-on-one!"
Chen Ze pulled her to sit down next to him. "Okay, next time you're trying to pick up girls, can you try a different approach? Don't always use that 'simp' approach to pursue girls. Even if you succeed that way, it won't last."
Zhang Guoheng brought his face close to his: "Then tell me, what method should we use to pursue her?"
