"Yes, Professor Wang!" The team members accepted the three zombified individuals and continued their research.
Now his son has turned into a zombie, his wife is gone, and he is all alone.
Now that I'm almost seventy, I want to do some things for my son.
If we can research a healing method to treat our son, that would be great. If we really can't research that, we can only research a potion to enhance zombies.
He sighed, led a group of people out of the room, and went to see how his son was doing.
Dr. Wang arrived at his son's ward with a group of people, his face showing concern.
The door to the room was tightly shut, and loud banging noises came from inside, making one feel uneasy.
"Open the door quickly, we need to go in and take a look!" Dr. Wang shouted anxiously.
A young lab assistant quickly stepped forward, took out tools, and began to pry open the son's bedroom door.
As soon as the door opened, a stench hit them, making it hard to breathe. The room had been ransacked; furniture was overturned, and there were several bloodstains on the walls.
Everyone's gaze involuntarily fell on the boy not far away.
Seeing Wang Hua by the bedside, his face was pale, his complexion was ashen, and his body was covered with black wounds.
Dr. Wang's tears flowed uncontrollably. He stepped forward tremblingly and gently stroked his son's cheek.
"Child, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Dr. Wang's voice trembled.
Even though I already knew the result, I still couldn't help asking.
Wang Hua weakly opened his eyes, his gaze blank, barely responding. "Dad, it hurts so much, save me..." His voice was so weak it was almost inaudible.
Seeing that his son, who had been paralyzed for many years, could actually speak because of his zombification, he felt no joy at all.
"Son, don't worry, Dad will definitely find a way to save you."
Whether you're a boss or someone else, Dad will always be there for you.
"Take him back to the lab!" Dr. Wang said through gritted teeth.
The people in the laboratory hurriedly carried Wang Hua on a stretcher and took him back to the laboratory for comprehensive testing.
Dr. Wang followed behind them with a silent and anxious expression.
Upon entering the laboratory, the doctors quickly conducted various examinations and analyses. In a short time, the report was quietly prepared.
"Dr. Wang, your son has indeed been infected with the zombie virus."
"Your son will turn into a zombie in at most half an hour," the attending physician said bitterly.
Dr. Wang closed his eyes in anguish, clutching his head in his hands, his hope shattering into countless fragments.
He devoted all his energy and effort to research, but he couldn't save his son, which left him feeling endless helplessness and regret.
"We will do our best to research and find a treatment."
"If there's really no other way, the only option is to train him into the highest-level zombie," Dr. Wang said through gritted teeth.
More than twenty minutes later, a series of screams were heard.
"Ahhh..."
"Dad, it hurts so much! I'm in so much pain!"
Looking at his son in unbearable pain, Dr. Wang's eyes welled up with tears, and he choked out:
"Son, just bear with it a little longer, and you'll soon be free from pain."
They tried every possible method to control their son's wounds and conducted numerous experiments and studies in an attempt to find a drug that could suppress the zombie virus.
However, as time passed, neither the cell experiments nor the animal experiments yielded the desired results.
Drug development has become increasingly complex and difficult, and even the slightest hope has become slim.
Finally, Dr. Wang's son, Wang Hua, also turned into a zombie.
Dr. Wang could only painfully lock his son up and research various ways to activate his superpowers.
Even if Wang Yuan's son can't be saved, he will still become the most powerful zombie.
Days passed by, and the three months of smog finally came to an end.
On this long-awaited morning, the sun shone with warm light, shining through the clouds onto the earth.
The black smog that had shrouded the city for months was finally dispelled, and the sky was cloudless, making people feel as if they had returned to the sunny days of the past.
People walked along the dilapidated streets, their faces beaming with long-lost smiles.
They breathed in the long-missed air, felt the warmth of the sun, and their mood was as refreshed and pleasant as if it had been cleansed.
They talked to each other about the terrible weather of the past few months and rejoiced that the smog was finally gone.
The children returned outdoors, running and playing, their faces beaming with smiles.
They gazed at the blue sky with innocent eyes, as if marveling at this wonderful victory.
The children had a great time, and their laughter filled the air, conveying endless joy.
The people on the street no longer doubted or feared; they were filled with hope and confidence for the future.
Looking at the beautiful weather around her, Wan'er said with a smile:
"Great! The smog is finally gone, and I can finally see again."
"Wan'er, there won't be such thick smog anymore, but it's going to be extremely hot soon!"
"Ah~ It's extremely hot! How hot can it be?" Wan'er said, looking completely bewildered.
"The temperature is 60 or 70 degrees Celsius every day, sometimes even 70 or 80 degrees, not counting the surface!" Junjue explained with a smile.
"Holy crap! Sixty or seventy degrees Celsius? How are we supposed to live?" Upon hearing Junjue's words, Wan'er immediately became alarmed.
Junjue is right, because the smog started to disappear in the west a week ago, and other countries have entered extremely hot weather ahead of schedule.
