When Junjue saw the captain take the big white lotus to sit down, he didn't pay any attention to Chen Fan.
The man, who seemed to know everyone well, approached an elderly person who was shivering. Looking at the group of people whose lips were peeling and who were emaciated, he asked with concern:
"We brought some food, would you like some?"
The old man looked at the nobleman's concerned gaze, his eyes filled with helplessness and longing, as well as the despair of the world betraying him.
"I'm old and useless now. After being abandoned by my family, I finally managed to come here despite the risks to my life."
"Our supplies have run out; we have nothing to eat or wear." The old man's voice trembled, tinged with helplessness. "The situation here is getting worse; we're trapped here with no way out."
Junjue's heart tightened; he hadn't expected the situation here to be so bad.
He turned to look at Chen Fan, his eyes revealing a look of certainty.
Chen Fan understood what he meant, went out the door and brought in a large bag of thick blankets and a large bag of food, which he then distributed to the people in the room.
Chen Fan saw a little girl huddled in a corner, shivering all over, wearing clothes so thin they couldn't keep out the cold wind.

Junjue took out a thick cotton quilt that was over two meters long and handed it to several children with big heads and small bodies to cover themselves. He kept some food for himself in his backpack and gave the rest of the bread and self-heating meals to them.
"Thank you, big brother. We haven't had rice and bread in so long," the children said gratefully, their eyes reddening as they saw the big brother giving them so much food.
"You're welcome. Go and eat something and rest! Don't catch a cold."

Occasional coughs could be heard around them. The Duke looked at them with heartache. They were frozen like plants, their faces pale and their lips purple, which made them look even more exhausted.
