Chapter 347 Generous Rewards

A group of people eagerly got into the car, planning to drive back by land and enjoy the scenery along the way.

The squad leaders from all the allies, seeing the armored vehicle that Captain Jun had taken out, ran over in stunned silence and said:

"Lord Jun, we're going the same way, can we share a ride?"

"Yes! These rare and wonderful things of yours are so appealing!"

"Captain Jun, I really want to experience this armored vehicle. Please grant my request!"

"No problem, everyone get on the bus! But there are only ten buses, so you'll have to figure out what to do with them!"

"Thank you, Captain Jun!" After being given permission, the group rushed to get into the car.

The convoy drove through the deserted city streets, the wind blowing across their faces, scattering the remaining hair on their heads, and carrying a slight chill.

"This time, we finally solved the zombie problem in the last city in the south. It feels incredible," Dongfang Ao said, gazing at the setting sun.

"That's right, we've cleared out all the zombies in the country. This is truly our most glorious moment." Junjue gripped the steering wheel, a satisfied smile spreading across his face.

"However, it would be good if this disaster could have been avoided." Yue Ying frowned, her eyes filled with a heavy expression.

"Yes, if it weren't for the apocalypse, we might be able to live a peaceful life," Di Zhantian said with a sigh, sitting in the driver's seat.

"No matter what, we succeeded." Yue Ying held Su Ye's hand, her eyes filled with determination and joy.

The convoy gradually drove into Gliding Ridge Doomsday Fortress, where a towering building stood atop a high peak.

"I can hardly believe this was once our home," Ye Yuan said, looking at the dilapidated scene around him.

"Everyone, go back and rest! Take a good rest these next few days." After the Junjue parked the car, everyone got off the armored vehicle.

They came to an indoor open space inside the fortress and sat together. A warm fire burned, illuminating their faces.

"We have lost many people along the way, but their sacrifices will not have been in vain," Yue Chi said solemnly to the crowd.

"Yes, they gave their lives for this country. We should remember them and repay them." Yue Ying finished speaking and bowed deeply.

"That's right, we can only find our final peace here. It's thanks to their sacrifice." Su Ye's tone was firm, and his gaze was resolute.

Everyone fell silent, deeply moved by each other's unwavering resolve, a surge of indescribable strength welling up within them.

"More than a billion people have been reduced to only tens of millions. This series of disasters is truly terrifying."

The world still needs us. We must do more for this country and preserve the last vestiges of civilization. Chen Fan clenched his fist, his eyes flashing with determination.

"I hope that in the future, more people will be like us, fighting for world peace." Yue Chi's voice was calm and warm.

The group fell into quiet contemplation, feeling the power emanating from each other, and working together to protect this newly revitalized land.

"We are survivors, witnesses to this era, and heroes forever to this country," Su Ye said with pride.

"Yes, we are heroes in this apocalypse," Di Zhantian said excitedly, his eyes filled with pride.

The group looked around and realized that these ruins were no longer the territory of zombies, but their former home.

They looked at each other with their teammates, their smiles revealing understanding and trust; they would always be together.

This is their glory, this is their victory.

The road ahead may be long, but they have unwavering faith. They have weathered the dangers and hardships of the apocalypse, and now they will face a brighter future.

After this disaster, they will use their own strength to protect this pure land and lead the country into a new tomorrow.

Butler Zhao, who had just finished washing the dishes, saw that the young master, who had been missing, had finally returned. He walked over excitedly, his face trembling, and said:

"Young Master, you're all back?"

"Uncle Zhao, it's been a long time. These are all my teammates."

"Hello, Steward Zhao! It's been so long, I've missed you so much," Yue Ying said with a smile.

Di Zhantian, Dongfang Ao, Su Ye, Ye Yuan, Yue Chi, and Chen Fan all spoke in unison:

"Good morning, Steward Zhao!"

"Hello everyone, I'm very happy to have new teammates in the Apocalypse Fortress. If you need anything in the future, remember to let me know," Butler Zhao said happily when he saw so many impressive teammates.

"We won't be polite."

Seeing that the group of people had returned so late, Butler Zhao asked with concern, "Young Master, have you all had dinner? I'll go and cook for you right away!"

"Uncle Zhao, no need, we've already eaten before we came back."

"Everyone's been exhausted lately and wants to rest as soon as possible. You should go back to your room first!" Junjue said calmly.

Butler Zhao also noticed the exhaustion on the faces of the group and the combat uniforms stained with black blood. He nodded and said:

"Yes, young master!"

After the butler left, Junjue said to the group, "Everyone, go back and get some rest. Relax for the next few days. We'll move to the south in three days."

New teammates, go find a room you like. There's plenty of rooms, not much else here.

"No problem, see you later, teammates!"

"See you tomorrow!"

………

After exchanging greetings, the group dispersed, exhausted.

Junjue nodded and returned to his room. Looking at his dirty black combat suit, he quickly took a refreshing shower before coming out to check the system panel.

What's going on with the system? Why haven't I received the task completion notification yet?
