Chapter 349 I dreamed of her again

However, just as he was about to fall asleep, a beautiful dream appeared in his mind.

He dreamed of himself and his Wan'er.

They strolled in a beautiful garden, surrounded by blooming flowers, the air filled with their fragrance.

His girlfriend's beauty amazed him; despite the scars on her face, her eyes were still full of tenderness.

The Duke took a step forward, trying to get closer to her.

His girlfriend seemed to have sensed his intentions and smiled as she lowered her head.

A complex emotion flashed in her eyes, but she remained silent.

The Duke approached her and gently stroked her cheek; he could feel the uneven scars on her face.

His fingers gently traced her lips, that place that had once been so sweet.

In his dream, he realized how much he missed her and how much he wished he could have her again.

"I miss you so much... Wan'er," Junjue whispered, leaning on her shoulder.

The girlfriend looked up, tears welling in her eyes. She gently bit her lip, seemingly wanting to say something but holding back.

"I miss you too, Lord. But we can never see each other again, do you understand?" Her voice carried a hint of sorrow.

Seeing his girlfriend in pain, Junjue's heart was torn in two; he didn't understand why she was saying such things.

"I don't understand, I can't bear the pain of not having you." The Duke's voice was filled with despair.

His girlfriend approached him and gently took his hand. Her eyes were filled with tenderness and love.

"My Lord, we may go our separate ways, but we will never forget each other."

I want you to be strong, to continue protecting this world, because it is your mission and your responsibility.

Junjue gritted his teeth and nodded silently. He knew his girlfriend was right; he needed to keep moving forward and work even harder for her sake.

Gradually, the scene in the dream turned black, and the mocking conversation of a group of people around me began to rise.

Junjue held Wan'er's hand tightly, gazing at her with tenderness.

He felt angry and helpless, but he knew that love could not be based on appearance.

He has always believed that true beauty comes from within.

However, countless eyes were fixed on them, and whispers and laughter filled their ears.

"Look at that guy, he's so handsome, how could he date such an ugly woman?"

"Was this woman splashed with sulfuric acid? Or was she hit by a car? She's so ugly!"

"Yes! Such an ugly woman, yet she's snatching up such a handsome man, God is so unfair!"

The Duke's face turned ashen, and he glared angrily at those who had spoken hurtful words.

"Why do you people have such foul breath? Did you not brush your teeth this morning?"

His mouth is spewing filth!

Seeing the handsome young man throwing a tantrum, the group of people quickly left.

Wan'er sensed Junjue's anger and gently comforted him, "Junjue, don't be angry. It's alright, I'm used to it."

Junjue held Xiaoyu's hand tightly. He knew Wan'er was right, but he couldn't bear others mocking her.

"Wan'er, I don't care, I don't want to hear those people's hurtful words."

Soon after, they sat down in a small coffee shop.

Junjue ordered two coffees, and they were silent for a while before the waiter brought them over.

Junjue suddenly raised his head, looked at Wan'er, and said with a determined look in his eyes: "Wan'er, I love you, and I will not let other people's opinions affect our happiness."

Moved to tears, Wan'er held Junjue's hand and said, "Junjue, I know you are sincere, but I can't accept your love. I'm sorry!"

Junjue excitedly grabbed her hand, hugged her tightly, buried his head in her shoulder, and said with reddened eyes:

"Wan'er, I don't want your apology, I just want your response. I can't live without you, do you understand?"

"I'm sorry! I..."

Disturbed, Junjue silenced the other's lips with a kiss, gently savoring the sweetness of the other's taste, before finally stopping.

Junjue and Wan'er were passionately kissing in the coffee shop. Junjue held Wan'er's slender waist, looking at her pockmarked face with heartache, and whispered gently:

"Wan'er, I have been waiting for this moment, waiting to be able to get close to you, to let my heartbeat merge with yours."

Wan'er hugged Junjue tightly, tears streaming down her face, and whispered, "Junjue, I've always wanted to find you too. I've endured so much loneliness and solitude. I miss you so much!"

The two gazed deeply into each other's eyes and kissed even more passionately, as if at that moment, the whole world consisted only of the two of them.

Junjue stroked Wan'er's uneven cheeks, his eyes filled with tenderness. He said, "Wan'er, I am willing to spend my whole life protecting you so that you will no longer be alone."

Wan'er's eyes glistened with tears of happiness. She held Junjue's hand tightly and said, "Junjue, as long as you are here, I am no longer afraid of being alone."

Their kiss was no longer passionate, but filled with tenderness and warmth.

At this moment, they finally found each other's support and refuge.

"Wan'er, I will love you forever," Junjue said softly.

"My lord, I will always love you," Wan'er replied gently.

Their hearts are connected, and their love will last forever.

At this moment, all the pain, confusion, and repression seemed to be released.

"Wan'er, I want you. You abandoned me for five years. Please give yourself to me!"

Wan'er's eyes reddened, she wiped away her tears, and whispered again:

"I'm sorry, I really can't!"
