Chapter 405 A Pleasant Afternoon

The early autumn sunlight streamed through the curtains into the room, illuminating the two people on the large bed.

Junjue and Wan'er slept in each other's arms, their smiles in their dreams like a garden full of flowers, brimming with happiness and warmth.

The afternoon was exceptionally lazy, as if the whole world had stood still.

Junjue slowly opened his eyes, looking at Wan'er sleeping in his arms, and his heart was filled with endless love.

He gently stroked her long, soft hair, a tender smile playing on his lips.

Wan'er slightly opened her eyes and saw Junjue's smile. A blush appeared on her face, but more than that, she felt sweetness.

She said softly, "Lord Jun, you're awake?"

Junjue gently lowered his head and kissed Wan'er's forehead, the delicate touch conveying his love.

"Mmm, baby, I think I'm already lost in your sweet dreams."

Wan'er's blush deepened, and she said coquettishly, "You rascal, you always cause so much trouble. You've been up for two days and two nights and then slept for a while, and it's almost the third day."

Junjue smiled and gently patted Wan'er's nose: "So what? Loving you doesn't discriminate between early and late."

"Get up, I'm a little hungry!"

"Baby! You smell so good, let me hug you a little longer!"

Wan'er sensed the lustful look in the other person's eyes, gently bit Junjue's finger, and said coquettishly:

"No, we've been sleeping in long enough, let's get up."

After saying that, her slender body gently slid out of the Duke's embrace.

Sunlight streamed into the room through the window, its soft glow warming the entire space.

Junjue stretched and a happy smile spread across his face.

A hint of satisfaction appeared on his lips; he felt happiness.

Standing beside her, Wan'er saw her boyfriend's happy face and a gentle smile appeared on her lips. She felt a long-awaited peace of mind.

Junjue sat up and pulled the blanket over Wan'er, wrapping her in his arms. "Alright! I can't let my darling go hungry," he said in his deep, magnetic voice.

Wan'er looked up in surprise, her eyes filled with determination. "At least you have some conscience. You're driving me crazy." Her eyelashes fluttered slightly, her voice tinged with a hint of mischief.

Seeing Wan'er covered in bruises, Junjue used his light-based abilities to help her recover. A wicked smile crept across his lips: "Anyway, I can never leave you. Besides, we both have healing abilities, so if we're too tired, we can recover quickly afterward."

Wan'er couldn't help but laugh at Junjue's antics. She carefully pushed away from Junjue's embrace, stood up to straighten her clothes, turned to look at Junjue, and her eyes revealed endless tenderness.

"Besides these things all day long, can't you think of anything else?"

Junjue also stood up, walked towards Wan'er, and gently hugged her waist. His voice was deep and firm: "Wan'er, I only want to love you, and that will never change."

As for the rest, I'll just think about them occasionally. All my energy is focused on you!

Their eyes met, and a deep understanding welled up between them. They knew that no matter how the world changed, their love would always remain as steadfast as a rock.

The leisurely afternoon passed slowly as Junjue and Wan'er leaned against the window, sharing their desires and hopes with each other.

Their conversation was like a sweet melody, soothing each other's hearts.

Wan'er said softly, "Junjue, I hope we will always be as happy as we are now."

Junjue stroked Wan'er's cheek, his eyes filled with tenderness: "My darling, I will always protect you and give you happiness."

Wan'er's voice revealed a hint of gratitude: "I know, because you are my happiness."

The two looked at each other silently, their tacit understanding seemingly becoming an eternal bond.

Their love was like a blooming flower, always full of sweetness and warmth.

"Baby, how are you feeling today? Did you sleep well?" Junjue asked in a gentle voice.

Wan'er looked up, her eyes filled with love. "It's wonderful beyond words. When I'm with you, I can always let go of everything and feel the most beautiful warmth."

Junjue gently stroked Wan'er's hair, feeling its soft, silky texture.

"Me too, I truly feel safe and happy in your arms."

We nestled together, like two hearts leaning on each other; whether it was day or night, we could feel each other's presence.

Wan'er shifted her body slightly, continuing to lean comfortably against Junjue's chest. "Junjue, do you know? The first thing I do every morning when I wake up is look forward to spending every beautiful moment with you."

Junjue's eyes were filled with deep affection. "Wan'er, you are the most important person in my life, and so am I."

Being with you fills me with endless happiness and contentment. With you by my side, my world is filled with light and warmth.

Their eyes met, conveying a deep love between them. In this silent exchange, they felt each other's most sincere emotions.

"Junjue, you are my only one, and my dearest person," Wan'er whispered, her voice like a gentle breeze that softly entered Junjue's heart.

Junjue embraced Wan'er tightly. "Wan'er, me too. You are the most important person in my life. Without you, my life would be meaningless. We will always be together, supporting each other, forever."

Their lips gently touched, conveying this profound vow.

This kiss was not just physical contact, but a fusion of souls.

Junjue picked up Wan'er and walked to the window. Sunlight streamed through the window, shining on them like a blessing, allowing them to feel the beauty of life.

"Wan'er, how about we go out for a walk after we finish eating today and enjoy some quality time?" Junjue asked gently.

Wan'er nodded happily, "Okay, we're always fighting monsters in this desolate place. It's been so long since I've gone out with you."

We can go for a walk, see the flowers in bloom, and feel the breath of spring.

"Let's go get something to eat!"

"good!"

A large meal, which I couldn't tell was lunch or dinner, lasted for half an hour.

After they finished eating, they took each other's hands, walked out of the room, and came to the land outside the space.

The space is filled with the colors of peach blossoms and willows, a riot of flowers.

They strolled hand in hand along the path, a gentle breeze caressing their faces, their hearts filled with joy.

Junjue would occasionally pick a blooming flower for Wan'er, who would accept it with a smile, her eyes filled with gratitude.

They found a bench, sat down, and smiled at each other. "Wan'er, I want to take you somewhere to surprise you. This place is very special to me, and I want to share it with you."

Wan'er looked at Junjue expectantly, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Where? You must tell me."
