Wan'er nestled tightly in Junjue's arms, feeling his warm and broad chest.
After months of battling the alien beasts outside, it's finally over today, and she can finally sleep peacefully.
The next morning, sunlight streamed through the cracks in the window and fell on Wan'er.
Wan'er slowly opened her eyes and smelled a fragrance wafting in the air.
She rubbed her eyes hard, and when her vision refocused, she saw that Junjue was already standing in front of a table full of delicious food.
He was wearing a cute apron and looking at her with a big smile.
"Good morning, Wan'er." Junjue looked at her tenderly, his eyes full of love.
Wan'er sat up and stretched gently. "Good morning, Lord Jun. Did you...do you make this?"
What's so delicious?
Jun Jue smiled happily, pointing to the table laden with various delicacies as he explained:
"This is a breakfast I prepared especially for you. I wanted you to try my cooking."
Wan'er's eyes sparkled with joy. She couldn't wait to get up, walk to Junjue's side, and look curiously at the food on the table.
"Foie gras, pan-fried steak, cream cake, a carefully crafted cocktail, fish soup... and your favorite fruit salad." Junjue introduced each dish one by one, his excitement barely concealed.
Wan'er couldn't help but purse her lips. She was touched by Junjue's thoughtfulness, as if this was not just breakfast, but also an expression of his love for her.
"My Lord, we've been together for so long, how come I didn't know you could cook!"
"You're amazing!" Wan'er excitedly threw herself into Junjue's arms, hugging him tightly. "Thank you for making such a delicious breakfast for me, I'm so touched."
Junjue hugged Wan'er tightly and whispered, "Wan'er, I've always been good at cooking, but there's just too much ready-made food in the space, so I haven't bothered to cook."
I know you haven't had a proper rest in a long time, and I hope this breakfast will help you relax and feel my care and love.
Tears welled up in Wan'er's eyes. She knew that Junjue had been silently sacrificing for her and fighting tirelessly to protect her.
This breakfast is more than just a simple meal; it's an exchange of love and nourishment.
The two embraced tightly, enjoying this rare moment of peace, until more than ten minutes later, when they let Wan'er go brush her teeth and wash her face.
After Wan'er finished washing up, Junjue gently picked up a piece of boiled fish for her and put it in her bowl.
After Wan'er sat down, she parted her red lips slightly and savored the delicious fish, a satisfied expression blooming on her face.
"Junjue, your cooking skills are really amazing, no worse than those master chefs!" Wan'er looked at Junjue with loving eyes, realizing how lucky she was to have such a considerate and caring boyfriend.
Junjue smiled shyly, "Actually, I just wanted to give you a good surprise and hopefully let you get some rest and relax."
Wan'er held Junjue's hand tightly and said gratefully, "Junjue, you have never let me down. Whether in battle or in life, you are my hero."
Junjue looked at Wan'er tenderly and gently kissed her forehead. "Wan'er, with you by my side, I have the strength to overcome all difficulties. You are my strongest support."
They enjoyed the meal together, sharing their joy and happiness. This breakfast not only filled their stomachs but also warmed their hearts with love.
On that peaceful morning, Junjue and Wan'er realized how important they were to each other, and their love became even stronger.
They had just finished breakfast and were finally able to rest their relaxed minds and bodies.
Junjue and Wan'er walked out of the base hand in hand. A gentle breeze caressed their faces, bringing a touch of coolness.
The survivors in the base also came out for a walk, their faces smiling and their eyes full of hope and joy.
Gone is the despair and fear of being chased by alien beasts; this land has regained its vitality.
The Duke leaned against the fence, looking down at everything in the base.
His gaze lingered on a survivor, a young woman playing with her child, her face beaming with joy.
The child was very young, and their new life in this desolate world brought immense warmth to the Lord's heart.
Wan'er walked to Junjue's side and gazed at him tenderly.
Junjue turned his head, looked into her beautiful eyes, and asked with a smile, "Is all of this true? Are we really back at the base, living with these people?"
Wan'er nodded gently, her voice tinged with excitement: "Yes, Lord Jun. We're finally back. This is our home."
Although we have experienced many difficulties and setbacks, it is all in the past now. We are able to build a new home together with these brave people.
Junjue held Wan'er's hand tightly, feeling the warmth emanating from her palm.
They walked through every corner of the base, looking at the smiles of every survivor, feeling this indescribable joy.
They arrived at the entrance of a morning canteen, where wisps of smoke curled and emitted an enticing aroma. Junjue took a deep breath and smiled at Wan'er, saying:
"Can you smell that? That's their breakfast. I heard there's a particularly lavish meal today."
Wan'er couldn't help but laugh, rubbing her full belly, and looking at Junjue's mischievous eyes, the corners of her mouth turned up:
"It's a pity I'm already full, otherwise I would have joined the queue too."
