Wan'er leaned gently against Junjue, enjoying his tender care. "Junjue, you always take such good care of me. Thank you."
Junjue gently stroked Wan'er's hair, his eyes filled with tenderness. "I love you, Wan'er. You are the most precious thing in my heart."
Wan'er's cheeks flushed slightly, and her eyes sparkled with happiness. "I love you too, Junjue. No matter when or where, I will be with you."
Junjue smiled gently, their eyes met, and their hearts seemed to be telling the same vow.
Gradually, Junjue dried Wan'er's hair, every little gesture filled with tenderness and care.
Wan'er closed her eyes in relaxation, enjoying the tranquility and warmth of the moment.
"Lord Jun, do you know?" Wan'er asked softly.
"What?" The Duke stopped what he was doing and stared intently at her.
Wan'er smiled and said, "Every time I overcome fear, kill enemies, and save people, it's because I know you're by my side. Your presence gives me great confidence and strength."
A warm feeling welled up in Junjue's heart. He looked deeply at the woman before him, his gratitude overflowing. "Wan'er, your courage has always been my motivation. Fighting alongside you is the happiest moment of my life."
Their eyes met, and it was as if the world and time were gradually disappearing from their surroundings.
They felt each other's presence and promised each other unwavering love and protection.
When Junjue finally dried Wan'er's hair, she gently turned around to face him.
Her eyes sparkled with deep affection, overflowing with love that wasn't expressed in words, but rather flowed through the unspoken understanding between them.
They embraced, as if each other's existence was the most precious gift bestowed upon them by heaven. Their love permeated the room, like a gentle fragrance filling the air.
Junjue gently lowered his head and kissed Wan'er's forehead.
"Honey, go and rest now that your hair is dry. I'll come and keep you company after I take a shower!"
"Okay! I'm going to rest now." Touched by the other person's concern, Wan'er quickly ran to the big bed to lie down. Perhaps she was too tired, because she soon began to breathe evenly.
When Junjue came out of the shower and saw her sleeping, he tenderly kissed her lips and murmured to himself with heartache:
"It's so good to have you with me! I no longer have to live a lonely and desolate life like I did in my previous life."
Junjue looked at the dark circles under Wan'er's eyes with heartache, carefully slipped into the quilt and held her in his arms. Inhaling the familiar fragrance emanating from her, he soon drifted off to sleep as well.
