After overcoming numerous hardships, Shangguan Hong, along with his wife Liu Li and daughter Shangguan Mingyue, finally returned to their warehouse where they had collected supplies. They eagerly anticipated seeing a bountiful harvest so that they could enjoy a life of luxury in this disaster-stricken area.
However, when they pushed open the door of the large warehouse, the scene before them horrified them.
They were shocked to find that a large amount of supplies had vanished without a trace. The neatly arranged supplies had disappeared into thin air, and the warehouse was completely empty.

"Honey, shall we go look at other warehouses?" Liu Li asked excitedly, her hands trembling.

Eight hours later, Shangguan Hong arrived at his basement warehouses and saw that the ten tons of gold he had hoarded, along with hundreds of tons of various high-quality jade, emeralds, and diamonds, had all vanished.
Shangguan Hong shouted angrily, "These damned thieves! We've worked so hard, and they not only stole all our supplies, but they even dared to steal our wealth!" His brows were furrowed, and his face was flushed with anger.
Liu Li and her daughter walked back to the basement dejectedly. She bit her lip tightly, tears welling up in her eyes.
Seeing her husband's overwhelming rage, she angrily pointed to the empty warehouse and exclaimed:

"Which bastard is it? Who the hell stole all our supplies? Don't let me find out who it is, or I'll kill him."
Their words were filled with anger, and also revealed their disappointment with humanity.
They had hoped that the end of the world would unite people and help each other, rather than kill each other.
However, reality showed them the ugliness and greed of human nature.
Shangguan Hong turned around, pounded on the warehouse wall, and shouted angrily, "They not only stole our material wealth, but also our hope and trust!"
"We strive for our future survival, but they have pushed us into the abyss of despair!" Shangguan Hong said with certainty, assuming that it was the people who used to transport supplies who had done it.
Shangguan Hong gripped Liu Li's hand tightly, his eyes gleaming with determination. Although they were angry, they couldn't lose their temper. They needed to calm down and consider their next move.
"We cannot be discouraged, much less give up," Shangguan Hong said in a steady voice. "These thieves dared to steal our supplies; we must get them back!"
Liu Li gripped Shangguan Hong's hand tightly and said encouragingly, "Yes, we can't let these thieves succeed. We must find clues, locate them, and make them pay the price."
Although young, Shangguan Mingyue was full of fighting spirit. She raised her head and said with a firm look in her eyes, "Mom and Dad, I believe you can find those thieves. We must get justice for the lost supplies!"
Liu Li gently held Shangguan Hong's hand, tears sliding down their cheeks. Her voice trembled as she said:
"Without supplies, we cannot survive this natural disaster. We cannot be defeated by people like this. We must be strong!"

Shangguan Mingyue also took their hands, and with a weak smile, she said, "I believe, Mom and Dad, as long as we are united, these unfortunate days will eventually pass."

The Shangguan family of three embraced tightly, a powerful anger and determination igniting within them. They resolved to brave any danger, relentlessly search for clues, and recover the stolen goods.
The gurgling sound started, and Shangguan Mingyue, remembering how much her family had been up all day and hadn't eaten in ages, burst into tears, choking back sobs:
"Mom and Dad, I'm so hungry! We haven't eaten anything all day."
In the morning, their minds were filled with anger and despair at losing supplies, and they didn't even feel hungry. Now that they've stopped, all three of them are starving.
