Chapter 90 Steel Storage Market

Wan'er shook her head, her arms around the other man's strong waist, her face full of embarrassment.

"The ground here is all slippery, I almost slipped and fell. Luckily you were quick enough, otherwise my butt would have been bruised and battered," Wan'er said, rubbing her bottom, her face flushed.

Seeing Wan'er's actions, Junjue couldn't help but chuckle.

"You'll be fine with me here, but we need to be careful. The situation here is much worse than we thought," the Duke said in a serious tone.

Wan'er nodded; she sensed it too. They continued forward, exploring the storage warehouse within the abandoned factory.

Time passed second by second. The two teleported through the abandoned factory and searched for many storage warehouses, but they still couldn't find the supplies they needed.

Even the things that came into the space were unused plastic bags, disposable cups, bowls and chopsticks, clothes, pens, books, toys, and all the factory machinery and equipment. There was nothing left that could be eaten.

"It seems this place has been completely looted." The Duke sighed.

Wan'er held Junjue's hand tightly, encouraging him, "It doesn't matter if we don't have any here. We can find supplies in other places. Let's keep trying!"

Junjue smiled slightly, sensing Wan'er's unwavering belief.

They decided to keep going and continue searching for other storage warehouses, believing that one day they would find the supplies they needed.

"I had a feeling when we arrived that these warehouses, which are so large, would be looted, given how long the natural disaster has lasted." After saying that, Junjue took out a map and continued searching for the next destination where there might be supplies.

These past few days, Junjue and Wan'er have been collecting supplies, but all they've collected are for use; they've had very little food.

Today, Junjue discovered a large market specializing in storing steel, so he didn't hesitate to teleport Wan'er there. This thing might not be useful to others, but it would be useful to him in the future! Not only could it upgrade his space, but it would also be of great use later.

Junjue and Wan'er arrived at the large market marked on the map as a special place to store steel. They needed to collect more supplies to store for future use in building a base or a post-apocalyptic fortress.

When they entered the market, the sight before them delighted them.

Everywhere was piled up with steel objects, gleaming with a metallic sheen.

This market is a huge row of warehouses displaying all kinds of steel in different sizes, from steel bars to steel plates, from steel pipes to steel wires.

Junjue led Wan'er by the hand as they walked through the piles of steel. Sunlight streamed in through the tall windows, casting a golden glow on the steel.

They were drawn to the piles of steel items everywhere and eagerly began to look at the various materials they needed. If they hadn't bought so many of these materials before the natural disaster, they would have cost at least tens of billions of dollars. Now that they could buy them all for free, it was fantastic.

Junjue's eyes revealed excitement and anticipation. No one knew better than him that these things could not be regenerated and were the most important resources for building the post-apocalyptic fortress.

Their eyes scanned the market, searching for suitable materials. Suddenly, Junjue's gaze fell on a pile of tall steel plates, and he excitedly pulled Wan'er over.

"Wan'er, look at those steel plates! They're enough for us to build a sturdy base in the future!" Junjue said excitedly.

Wan'er was also touched by Junjue's enthusiasm. She smiled and nodded, "Yes, Junjue. These steel plates look very sturdy. We can use them to build an impregnable fortress."

The two walked over to the steel plate and examined it carefully. Junjue reached out and gently touched the surface of the steel plate, feeling its hardness and coldness.

“These steel plates look very sturdy and are of good quality. We can use them to build defensive walls and structures,” the Duke said.

Wan'er nodded in agreement, her eyes shining with determination: "Yes, Lord Jun. These steel plates will provide us with sufficient security, and our base will be very strong."

"Look, Wan'er, there's so much steel here. We can use it to build our own base," Junjue said excitedly.

Wan'er couldn't help but laugh, "Yes, Lord, this place is truly a treasure! We can design the base's structure according to our own ideas and make it our safe haven."

Junjue's eyes gleamed with anticipation. "Yes, we can build a strong and safe base so that we can stay away from danger and live a peaceful life."

The two men excitedly began searching through the pile of steel for the supplies they needed. The Duke picked up a steel bar and examined it closely.

“This steel bar looks very sturdy; I think we can use it to reinforce the base’s support structure,” the Duke said.

Wan'er took the steel bar, tapped it lightly, and it made a crisp sound. "Yes, Lord Jun, this steel bar is very suitable for our needs. It can provide more protection for the base."

They continued searching through the steel pile, looking for more suitable materials to build the base. Suddenly, the Lord discovered a huge steel plate, several meters long, that looked extremely sturdy.

“This steel plate will definitely protect us from external harm,” the Duke said.

Wan'er was also excited, "Yes, Lord Jun, this steel plate can be used to build a protective wall for the base, keeping us away from external threats."

"Wan'er, these steel pipes can be used to build a strong support structure, making our base more stable," Junjue said excitedly.
