Seeing the shocked and panicked crowd around them, Junjue hugged Wan'er tightly. They gazed into each other's eyes, feeling each other's strength and determination. Despite the typhoon's fury, they were determined not to give in or surrender.
Wan'er felt a strong, powerful chest embrace her tightly, and a warm feeling welled up inside her, making her feel increasingly at ease.
Luckily, she has her boyfriend. Otherwise, facing these natural disasters one after another alone, she would definitely feel lost and anxious, and her heart would break down!
"Thank you, Lord!"
"Wan'er, you don't need any 'buts' with me. I will be your strongest support. Whenever you want, I will always be your strongest reliance."
"Um!"
As night fell, a powerful typhoon swept in at seven o'clock. Inside the villa, the lights shone brightly, like a beacon of light in a safe haven.
The howling winds brought by the powerful typhoon pounded against the windows and walls of the villas. However, the villas were structurally sound; some withstood the storm, while others did not.
"Boom!"
"Ping-ping-pong".
"Slap, slap."
"Bang!"
"Roar roar roar~"
"Woof woof woof~"
The howling winds brought by the powerful typhoon, along with various other noises, filled the hall as everyone huddled together, relying on and encouraging one another.
Their eyes sparkled with hope, for they believed that with Junjue and Wan'er leading the way, they would surely be able to safely weather this powerful typhoon.
The group was so terrified that they quickly tried to find a topic to distract themselves from their anxiety.
"I don't know how long this powerful typhoon will last; it's really terrifying."
"I felt the whole villa shaking. I don't know if this villa can withstand this strong typhoon!"
"Damn, this typhoon must be at least Category 15! The huge, corroded trees outside have had their massive roots uprooted."
"The destructive power is terrifying."
Amidst the group's discussion, a "smack" sound rang out.
A window in the distance was shattered by the strong wind, letting in the biting cold.
"Run! The window is broken. Don't go near the window!"
*Smack!*
"Boom~ Crack."
"Holy crap! This one's broken too! What kind of typhoon is this?! Even the reinforced windows were mercilessly blown apart."
"Run!"
"This strong typhoon is expected to last for several days. Don't panic, everyone. Quickly find something to reinforce the structure, otherwise we will all freeze to death here."
After the natural disaster, the temperature was generally around 15 or 16 degrees Celsius. Coupled with the strong winds and torrential rain brought by the typhoon, it was really cold and biting.
Taking advantage of the moment when no one was looking, the Duke took out several large and thick wooden planks from his spatial storage and had a group of people lift them up and secure them.
"Quickly, there are several large wooden planks here. Let's reinforce the windows immediately."
Everyone was terrified by the strong typhoon and didn't notice where the thick wooden planks had come from. So they worked together to block and reinforce the two windows, and then used nails to reinforce them densely.
Throughout the night, they battled the powerful typhoon. Junjue and the others did their utmost to repair the damaged parts of the villa, while Wan'er helped clean up the mess.
The two of them carried the dog on their backs to prevent a stampede in the chaos. The group supported and encouraged each other, getting through the difficult night.
As time went by, the typhoon gradually moved away after a few days, leaving behind a desolate scene.
The people inside the villa gradually breathed a sigh of relief. Everyone was exhausted and disheveled, having been up for days and nights without sleep. However, they had successfully withstood the disaster.
Seeing that the typhoon had finally stopped, the people were so exhausted that they simply cleaned up the mess scattered on the ground and fell asleep immediately.
They were so tired. For the past few days, they had been so worried that the villa would be blown away that they couldn't close their eyes. Now they could finally get a good night's sleep.
"Damn it, I can finally rest. My panda eyes are so uncomfortable."
"I'll wait until I wake up and see how destructive this terrifying typhoon is, and how much damage it has done to the surrounding area."
"I'm not going to talk about it anymore, I'm so sleepy, even if a strong typhoon comes now, I won't get up."
Junjue and Wan'er listened to the group's discussion. Despite being very sleepy, they still held hands and went to the villa's balcony. Looking at the mess left by the strong typhoon, they were shocked.
The scene before them was unbelievable; the once beautiful and pleasant environment had been completely destroyed by the typhoon.
A damp smell wafted from the balcony, making their breathing heavy and difficult.
Looking around, the collapsed trees, shattered glass, and destroyed houses all testified to the typhoon's terrifying power. Junjue sighed, "This is only the second disaster I've ever witnessed; it's so devastating, so merciless."
Wan'er silently gazed at the scene before her, her heart filled with helplessness and sorrow. She thought of those innocent lives, who had lost their homes and were now wandering aimlessly.
Wan'er deeply understood that typhoons not only destroyed material wealth, but also shattered people's hearts.
Wan'er frowned as she looked at the devastated scene. With a heavy heart, she said, "This typhoon was truly terrifying. Look at these damaged buildings; they seem like fragile toys."
Junjue shared the same sentiment. He held Wan'er's hand tightly, looked at the scene in the distance, and sighed, "Yes, this typhoon has caused enormous damage to people. We should be grateful that we are safe and sound."
