The eight soldiers who heard the roar realized what was happening after hearing their captain's shout.
They simply threw away their fire extinguishers, and as soon as they lifted their feet, the fire engulfed them.
Even though Xu Lai was standing about ten meters away from them, the heat emanating from the burning trees blew over with the mountain breeze, making Xu Lai feel as if she were being roasted in a furnace.
Seeing his brothers about to be engulfed by the fire, Long Gan, hoarse from shouting, turned around and was about to rush towards the fire.
"Captain Long!"
The soldiers who had escaped from the fire dragon saw their captain, who was trying to save his comrades, and turned around without hesitation, following Captain Long towards their comrades who were about to be swallowed by the fire dragon.

Long Gan, who had been running at the front, realized that his two teammates, who had been badly burned by the fire, had fallen behind. He and several teammates who were less seriously injured rushed back and helped the two teammates walk quickly toward Xu Lai.
"We're finally safe!"
Once they reached a safe place, the soldiers who had been battling the fire for half a day relaxed and all lay down on the ground, panting heavily.
As the team leader, Long Gan quickly picked up his walkie-talkie and reported his current situation to his superior.
The person on the other end of the phone looked at the raging fire below the plane, a fire that was completely out of control by humans. He immediately hung up the radio and gave the order to the demolition team: "Start the explosion and extinguish the fire immediately!"

As the name suggests, fire extinguishing by explosion is a method of extinguishing forest fires by using explosives.
In other words, they used explosives to create a firebreak near the burning forest.
There are two methods.
One method involves loading ammonium nitrate into blasting tubes, which are then installed in pre-drilled holes in the soil. Depending on the blasting force, each hole is spaced 1 to 3 meters apart, with the blasting tubes arranged in a line. The tubes are then detonated using a battery, which can create a strip of raw soil 100 meters long and wide at a time.
The second method involves placing explosives in thin plastic tubes, connecting them to fuses to create blasting cords, each 30 meters long, which are then wound around a cylinder for easy carrying.
When in use, each explosive cord is unfolded and laid flat close to the ground. Several cords can be connected together to reach a length of hundreds of meters, and then detonated with a battery.
This direct and forceful method of firefighting is highly effective and rapid for large-scale forest fires.
