Chapter 100: Taking Off the Disguise
There were several "bang bang" sounds of things hitting the table in the room.
The base of the whip was hard. Perhaps considering that Edrian was a male insect, the whip was changed from being made of iron to being wrapped in long strips of leather.
Adrian's lips turned pale, and he tensed up quickly, just as Morris had expected.
Males are the most timid of the creatures; they are weak and easily frightened.
The male insect Adrian is one of them.
Morris raised the corners of his lips silently, loosened his hand, and said, "Go kneel on the bed."
Adrian: “…”
He grabbed the corner of the desk with his fingers and applied a little force. The blood in his fingertips faded and turned slightly white.
A few seconds later, Adrian walked towards the bed in silence.
Morris dragged the corner chair toward him and sat down casually, crossing his legs, his dress pants framing the smooth curve of his legs.
Morris stared at Edrien for a moment, his thumb slowly stroking the base of the whip.
"Where are you kneeling?" Morris saw that Edrien was walking in a different direction, and his voice suddenly echoed in the room, "Facing me."
Edrian had just taken off his shoes and got into bed when he heard Morris' words and turned away from the wall.
He had never kneeled down to any other insects, even in his previous life. Morris picked a good time to take advantage of it.
Adrian knelt in a fairly standard position. He faced Morris, his green eyes looking straight ahead: "Are you satisfied?"
"Satisfied." Morris leaned his chin against the desk, half-seriously crooked his eyes, "You said before that you had never marked the female insects, is that true?"
Adrien saw him starting to whack with the whip again. He was speechless for a moment before saying, "It's fake. I have marked the female insect."
Morris paused. "How many?"
Adrian narrowed his eyes and said, "Sir, I only have one female monarch."
"Really? You have a female?" Morris stood up. He finally heard what he wanted to hear. He walked forward and hooked Edrien's chin. "You like him so much that you only marked him?"
Adrian: “…”
"You can think so if you want."
"Why, you don't think so?" Morris' tone changed. He pressed one knee onto the bed and leaned forward until his nose almost touched that of Edrian.
Adrian's eyelashes were thick, and when he looked into Morris's eyes, he saw some unknown meanings in the other's eyes, like a fierce threat, but also like some extremely fragile and fragile emotions.
He knew what Morris wanted to hear.
This female insect, who always behaves inconsistently and is always inconsistent inside and out, has been persistently pursuing the same thing in Edrien throughout her two lifetimes.
From his birth, to his death, to his rebirth today.
"Yes, I like him very much." Adrian seemed helpless. He covered Morris' neck with both hands and carefully felt the vitality of the arteries in his neck. "I don't know when it started to be like this, but it seems a little too late."
Morris' eyes trembled slightly, and his breath mingled with Edrien's, warm and gradually hot.
He was in a good mood, staring into Adrian's green eyes and slowly raised the corners of his lips: "Not too late."
Adrian's eyelashes rose and fell. The past about them, which only he knew, was buried in a dark corner.
It's best that Morris doesn't know. If you start over, there will always be a chance to find life.
"Yeah, not too late." Adrian responded, he stroked the skin on Morris' neck, tilted his head back and kissed his lips gently.
Morris' body stiffened, his eyes flickered, and after hesitating for a few seconds, he exchanged a light kiss with Adrian.
"Sir, you are such a scum." After the kiss, Morris's tongue tip was still a little numb.
He moved back and licked the corner of his lips with lingering feelings: "Who did you take me for? You call yourself a queen, but now you are kissing me. You are so hypocritical."
Adrian's legs were aching from kneeling. He waited for Morris to finish speaking before he said slowly, "The dust on your neck has fallen off."
Morris was about to say something else when he heard Adrian's voice and subconsciously covered his neck with his hands.
The areas on his face and neck were all covered with fake leather, and in order not to arouse suspicion from other bugs, he also added a layer of fine powder on top to modify the skin tone.
When Adrian kissed him just now, he rubbed a lot of powder from his neck.
Morris turned to look at Adrian, who was still kneeling upright. The tiny white powders on his palms sparkled in the light, and Adrian intentionally gathered them all in the center of his palms.
Morris suddenly changed his tone. He walked up to Edrien and whispered, "My Lord, I didn't mean it. I..."
"Morris," Edrien interrupted him, his eyes still fixed, but his voice pointed, "Kneel beside me."
Morris: "..."

Everything is a basic little cycle.
After taking a shower, Adrian made the bed and threw the pillows aside. He changed into more ordinary clothes and put all the conspicuous diamond-studded suits into another bag.
Morris was lying on the bed, his body covered with kiss marks and clear lines on his waist and abdomen.
Adrian wiped his body with a wet towel, and Morris turned over on his own accord, then wiped himself again with a tissue.
"It's no use rubbing it now, go take a shower."
Adrian kissed his cheek. After Morris peeled off the skin, there were still some tiny remnants left. Adrian pinched some of it with his fingers, and the touch was very similar to the skin of ordinary insects.
Morris was very good at planning: "I'll wash it after I finish absorbing it."
Adrian: “…”
Adrien said nothing more. He took the change of clothes aside and asked, "Why are you here? What about the mission the military gave you?"
"I handed that task over to the other army commanders," Morris said. "The underground black market is also a key observation area. I swapped tasks with them."
Adrian's computer lost contact, and Morris could not get any information. He then contacted other related bugs, but still could not find any information about Adrian.
Morris knew without much thought that something was wrong. He had installed a tracking device on Adrian's computer and determined Adrian's location based on the movement of the light spot.
Finally, Morris was dragged in. Edrien frowned, and told Morris what he had discussed with A'ran before, and decided where to go next.
"North Cemetery?" Morris's face changed, and he said, "My Lord, the North Cemetery is the imperial mausoleum. The corpses of all the insect emperors of the past are buried there. What are we going there for?"
Eddie An had a vague guess in his heart.
Cecil risked his life to tell him the news about the North Cemetery. The secrets hidden there must be extremely important.
Adrian said, "I want to go to the tomb of the late emperor and take a look."
Morris: "..."
