Chapter 195 My Things

Chapter 195 My Things

"He can't eat me yet." Shen Yisui leaned back in his chair, sensing the movements around him, and said, "He is no longer a high-level zombie, and his level... is still decreasing."

Gou Qie Tou Sheng was a little surprised when he heard this: "How do you know?"

"His consciousness is still in a fuzzy state, and the special bullets in his body have not been removed. Under such multiple suppressions, his level will naturally not be very high."

Shen Yisui continued, "Guess why he didn't fight back when I hit him just now? Didn't he want to?"

Survive and survive: "..."

Guchu Toutousheng vaguely felt that something was wrong, but there were no related cases stored in its system database. After listening to Shen Yisui's process analysis, he actually found it to make sense.

"Well... you are right! That is indeed the case!" Gou Qie Tou Sheng said, "But are you sure you can control him?"

Shen Yisui listened to the noise beside him and saw Cheng Jingyi rummaging out all the things in the drawer and continuing to look for food.

He lowered his eyelids silently and didn't answer.

This house was more fully equipped. Although it was smaller than the previous one, it had two bedrooms and a living room, leaving enough space for both of them.

Shen Yisui went to the bathroom to search around. The things in it had not been used for a long time and had already rusted. The shower head fell on the side of the glass door of the bathroom. Shen Yisui picked it up and held it in his hand. He tried to use it, but not a drop of water came out.

This was expected. Shen Yisui did not stay any longer. He walked to the washbasin next to him and turned on the faucet.

After turning the handle, the entire faucet made a hissing sound. Shen Yisui stood by and waited. After about a minute or two, a large amount of sewage suddenly gushed out.

Shen Yisui easily smelled the foul odor in the running water. He didn't know where the water was connected to. The previous pipes had long been blocked. The water flowing out now was almost the same sewage as in the sewers and was completely undrinkable.

Shen Yisui took the only remaining plastic bowl in the kitchen, filled it with dirty water, and then carried the bowl to a bedroom of his choice.

The bedroom was covered in dust, and the bedding on the bed had been placed there for who knows how long. Shen Yisui pressed it casually with his hand, and felt the roughness of the quilt's surface in the thick dust that was floating up.

Just barely usable.

Shen Yisui didn't think too much about it. He pulled the quilt to his side and found a good angle to block the dirty water in the plastic bowl.

After doing everything, he took out the only can left in his pocket, tore off the iron sheet on the can, and placed it on the small table beside him.

The smell rising from the can was not pleasant, it was sour and pungent, but it was obviously mixed with the unique smell of meat.

Shen Yisui deliberately placed the can on the edge of the small table. He turned his body sideways to ensure that people outside could see what he placed on the table through the door.

In less than a minute, he heard the sound of deliberately pressing footsteps at the door.

Cheng Jingyi came over following the smell.

His actions this time were obviously much more cautious than before. At first, the sound of his footsteps were undisguised, heavy and easy to distinguish.

But within just ten minutes after Shen Yisui's resurrection, Cheng Jingyi had learned how to adjust and suppress himself. Now, when Shen Yisui listened to the sound of the door, he could hardly hear the sound of his footsteps.

Cheng Jingyi was still observing. He stood silently at the door holding the door handle, looking suspiciously in the direction of Shen Yisui.

The can of meat that had just been opened obviously attracted his attention. His eyes stopped on Shen Yisui, and occasionally flashed to look at the can of meat.

He seemed to be waiting for something, standing in the door frame without taking another step forward.

Shen Yisui is blind and relies on his hearing and sense of smell to perceive the outside world. Now that Cheng Jingyi has covered up the sound of his footsteps, he has no way of knowing what Cheng Jingyi is like.

Cheng Jingyi narrowed his eyes, gripped the door handle tightly, and quietly took in all of Shen Yisui's movements.

Shen Yisui sat alone on the edge of the bed. He took the can and scooped out most of it with a spoon. Then he put it all into his mouth in front of Cheng Jingyi.

Cheng Jingyi gripped the door handle with increasing force. His face looked grim and gloom gradually accumulated in his eyes.

Not only does he lie, he also eats alone.

Shen Yisui was completely unaware of Cheng Jingyi's gaze. He sat on the edge of the bed and scooped spoonful after spoonful. The can was soon empty.

He could smell Cheng Jingyi's scent.

Cheng Jingyi himself may not know it, but he is always surrounded by the scent of grass and trees mixed with the smell of cigarettes, like dying weeds in the dead of winter, seemingly lifeless, yet unexpectedly growing vigorously.

Shen Yisui was deeply impressed when he first smelled it. After a few months of entanglement, Cheng Jingyi even passed these smells on to Shen Yisui.

Shen Yisui didn't care much. He didn't have any body odor originally. Later, he rubbed the smell off Cheng Jingyi to show off his power, and the zombies retreated after smelling the smell.

Shen Yisui lowered his eyes, moved the iron spoon in the can, and scooped out some minced meat.

There were a few hissing noises nearby. Cheng Jingyi kept scratching the surface of the wooden door with his fingernails as if in a warning, and it was obvious that he could no longer hold back.

Shen Yisui kept moving when he heard the sound. Just as he was about to take a bite of the food in the iron spoon, he felt a chill on his face. A few seconds later, the can in his hand was snatched away by another force.

Shen Yisui was prepared. He grabbed Cheng Jingyi's wrist and dragged him to his side: "What are you doing?"

Cheng Jingyi sneered, put his hands behind his back and hid the can behind himself: "Mine."

"I found this, it's mine." Shen Yisui saw that he wanted to retreat, so he used his palm to pull him towards him, "Hand it over."

"No." Cheng Jingyi stared at Shen Yisui and said word by word, "It's mine, give it all to me. You are not allowed to eat it."

Shen Yisui: "..."

A low threatening sound rose from Cheng Jingyi's throat again. Shen Yisui was silent for a moment and then said, "I can give you all, but shouldn't you share it with me? I was just waiting for you and I didn't finish it."

"...Share?" Cheng Jingyi's pupils were dark. He stared at Shen Yisui for a few seconds, then turned his eyes slightly and said, "Okay."

Shen Yisui's strength did not decrease. He did not believe Cheng Jingyi so easily and asked again: "Really?"

Cheng Jingyi's body stiffened. He paused for a moment, then stretched out his left hand and brought the canned food behind him to Shen Yisui.

He said slowly, "Here you go."

Shen Yisui no longer sensed Cheng Jingyi's intention to attack. He reached one hand into the quilt and slowly relaxed his grip on Cheng Jingyi's wrist with the other hand.
