Chapter 202 The Cheating Person

Chapter 202 The Cheating Person

"elder brother."

A shuddering sound was heard nearby, and the zombie that was gnawing on the dead flesh suddenly jumped up violently upon hearing the sound. The muscles in his two remaining legs gathered strength, and thick blood accumulated between his teeth.

There was another "bang" sound, and the hand pierced through the zombie's head and directly dug out the gray crystal core hidden in his brain.

Before the zombie could react, the man wearing white gloves moved quickly and without any splash, took the crystal core and kicked the zombie aside.

The rotten corpse made a loud noise when it hit the ground, startling the four golden crows that were watching on the side.

The newcomer seemed unaware. He walked to the bodies of the other two zombies, pried open their heads with his fingers, and dug out the gray crystal cores hidden inside.

There were four dark crystal cores in his hand. He tossed them to the child behind him with one hand.

The child's neck was half torn and there was a hollow space on his stomach, which was simply wrapped in a shirt to support the fallen spleen and stomach.

The inside of his eye sockets was completely black, with no light spots inside, and the edges were all cracked, with tiny black lines climbing up. He couldn't catch the crystal cores thrown from the air with his palms, and they all passed through the air and fell on the sand below.

The child staggered forward and picked up the crystal cores. He crushed three of them in one breath and absorbed all the energy inside.

"Brother, this is for you." He hesitated when it came to the last crystal core. He pulled up his half-lost overalls, limped over, and handed the crystal core in the center of his palm to the man before him.

"I don't need it. Just eat it." The man picked him up, hugged the child's body, and said with narrowed eyes, "Eat more, you will grow up faster."

The child hugged his neck. He looked at his stomach and lowered his head to crush the only remaining crystal core in his hand.

The energy contained in the crystal core floated up in the air, and finally merged into the child's body. The child closed his eyes, and after a moment he turned his head like a machine, looking towards the dark staircase in the dilapidated building.

"Brother, meat."

He pointed his finger at the third floor of the dilapidated building.

The man said nothing more. He hugged the child and looked over.

There was a flash of light inside the house on the third floor, and in this rotten and abandoned building, it was like a prey that was about to escape, and it disappeared in an instant and was completely engulfed by darkness.

"I want to eat meat."

On the way back, Shen Yisui also swept the empty room on the second floor.

As he expected, there was nothing left in the empty room on the second floor. Compared to the third floor, there was almost no food on the second floor, but fortunately some utensils were still usable, and Shen Yisui even found a flashlight from the bedside cabinet in a room on the second floor.

There was still a few bars of battery in the flashlight, so he just pretended to be able to see the light, so he stuffed the flashlight into his pocket.

The presence or absence of light didn't have much of an impact on him, but it didn't matter to Cheng Jingyi. Cheng Jingyi lived in a high-end villa in the zombie base camp, with all the lights on. He needed light to assist and support his actions.

Shen Yisui picked up the flashlight and returned to the room where they had lived before.

The door of the room had long been rusted and broken, and Shen Yisui had no intention of closing the door again. He simply tied bells with ropes and tied them horizontally on both sides to make a basic warning alarm.

Cheng Jingyi's wrists were tied together with Shen Yisui's. He was forced to walk back and forth with Shen Yisui several times. After he came back, he made a sound and asked to untie the garbage bag on his head.

"Don't worry, I'll untie it for you right away." Shen Yisui packed up everything before going to the inner room. He fumbled to take off the garbage bag on Cheng Jingyi's head, and then untied the one on his own head.

Even though there were several holes on it, the garbage bag still made people feel stuffy and suffocated. Shen Yisui threw the garbage bags they were wearing aside, frowned and pinched the corners of his eyes.

"Eat." Cheng Jingyi put the garbage bag they had just filled with shopping on the table. He untied the knot on it and looked at Shen Yisui again, "Hurry and share."

Shen Yisui: "..."

"Are you in such a hurry to break up with me?" Shen Yisui was originally leaning against the sofa tiredly. Hearing the voice, he simply sat up straight.

"What's yours is yours, and what's mine is mine." Cheng Jingyi and Shen Yisui separated. He sat on the floor with his legs crossed, pulling the garbage bag with his hands, making a rustling sound. "I won't take advantage of you."

Shen Yisui sneered and said, "Then thank you."

Cheng Jingyi didn't say anything. He untied the garbage bag and pushed it to the center of the table. He then pulled Shen Yisui's sleeve and said, "Share it quickly. I want to eat."

Shen Yisui pulled back his sleeves. Without wasting time talking to Cheng Jingyi, he dumped all the contents of the garbage bag onto the table and counted them in front of him.

"There are four buckets of instant noodles in total, two for you and two for me. Here they are." Shen Yisui said, pushing the two buckets of instant noodles in front of him to Cheng Jingyi.

The flashlight was turned on and shone towards the table, exposing the appearance of all the food on it to Cheng Jingyi's eyes.

Cheng Jingyi picked up the two buckets of instant noodles in front of him. He glanced at his own and then glanced at the one in front of Shen Yisui with his peripheral vision.

The four bottles of instant noodles all tasted the same, nothing special. Cheng Jingyi stared at them for a few seconds, then quickly put the things into the garbage bag he was using to cover his head without saying a word.

"These are compressed cookies. I counted them and there are seven bags in total. Let's split them in half and the remaining bag will be ours, okay?"

Shen Yisui said as he took out all the compressed biscuits on the table. He fumbled on the table for a long time with his hands, and finally only took out six bags.

Cheng Jingyi: “…”

Shen Yisui didn't find the remaining bag and suspected that it had fallen on the ground. He squatted down and searched for a while beside the sofa, but couldn't find it.

"Cheng Jingyi, check to see if it's on your side. I don't have it here." Shen Yisui frowned and sat down. He was a little suspicious and continued, "Did it fall on your side?"

Cheng Jingyi didn't say anything. Seeing that Shen Yisui was determined to get the seven bags of compressed biscuits, he took the excuse of searching to take out the box of compressed biscuits from his pocket.

"It fell." Cheng Jingyi put the biscuit on the table, tapped it with his fingertips, and said, "It's here with me."

Shen Yisui touched the bag of compressed biscuits with his hand and said in an ambiguous tone: "I didn't hear any sound of anything falling just now."

Cheng Jingyi propped up his chin and looked at him. The corners of his lips curled up, but his eyes were dark and he didn't smile: "I don't know."

Shen Yisui was suspicious for a moment, he recounted the things on the table and did not put down the box of compressed cookies that disappeared out of thin air and suddenly reappeared.

"I counted the ham, too. Let's split it in half."
