Chapter 224 Countermeasures
Shen Yisui had never thought of revealing his identity to others before.
His face had changed, his files had changed, and even the people who knew about it had all died at the hands of zombies during this period. Shen Heng could not believe it just based on Shen Yisui's words.
Shen Yisui had no intention of explaining to Shen Heng. Instead of letting him speak, it would be better to let Shen Heng discover it himself.
He briefly told Cheng Jingyi about his plan.
Cheng Jingyi frowned slightly after hearing this: "You are staying with him alone?"
"It's okay, I can handle it." Shen Yisui said, "If you are worried, you can follow behind. After all, I can't control the current situation of the ball."
Cheng Jingyi sneered: "You wish, I am your bodyguard?"
Shen Yisui: "Then don't follow me."
"I'm going to follow you." Cheng Jingyi sat up. He couldn't stretch out in the closet yet, so he just half pressed on Shen Yisui. "You can't control me anyway."
Shen Yisui: "..."
"Whatever you want." Shen Yisui touched Cheng Jingyi's cheek in the dark. His lips seemed to touch the corner of Cheng Jingyi's lips unintentionally, and he whispered, "But remember to look at me. I'll be scared if I'm alone."
Cheng Jingyi lowered his eyelashes, he did not move, opened his mouth and touched Shen Yisui's lips when he spoke: "Really? How scared are you?"
He stretched out his arm and pressed the wooden board of the cabinet door behind Shen Yisui.
Shen Yisui felt Cheng Jingyi's other hand slipping through his clothes and into his waist. He raised his head and said, "Now I am very..."
"Brother? Are you there, brother?"
Another sound suddenly came from outside, and within a second or two, there were rapid knocks on the blocked door.
"Brother?! Are you still there?"
Shen Yisui and Cheng Jingyi were both startled when they heard the sound. The ambiguous atmosphere between them suddenly disappeared and their nerves were tense by the sound.
Shen Yisui's expression changed slightly. He grabbed Cheng Jingyi's arm, and suddenly groaned and hit the closet door, then pulled Cheng Jingyi out of the closet.
At the same time, the door of the room was kicked open from the outside. Shen Heng looked a little unhappy. He kicked away the broken pieces of the door and walked in quickly from the outside.
"Brother, are you okay..."
He frowned as he spoke, but his words suddenly stopped when he saw the scene in front of him.
Cheng Jingyi was pressing down a zombie that had fallen to the ground. The zombie's fighting ability was obviously not very strong. His chin was held down and he could not move. He could only grab Cheng Jingyi's clothes with his hands and tear them apart.
Cheng Jingyi had a gloomy expression. He grabbed the zombie's black hair with one hand and smashed the back of his head down.
The floor of the house was cracked and dust and gravel were flying around. After Cheng Jingyi repeated this action seven or eight times, the zombie was finally knocked unconscious from the injuries.
"...Brother, are you okay?" Shen Heng did not expect to see such a thing. He stood at the door and did not go inside when he saw the situation.
"It's okay." Cheng Jingyi threw away the zombie in his hand. He stood up and glanced at the ground. "He can't hurt me in this state."
The zombie who fainted on the ground had disheveled black hair, his head tilted, and his black hair hung down to cover half of his face, leaving only a little of his nose tip and cracked light-colored thin lips exposed.
Shen Heng stared at the zombie lying on the ground with uncertainty. The zombie's chest was stained with blood, revealing the bloody hole underneath, and even the punctured lungs inside entered Shen Heng's eyes.
"Brother, this zombie...who is he?" Shen Heng seemed in disbelief. He pointed at the ground, pursed his lips and seemed to be hesitant to speak.
"You know Shen Yisui." Cheng Jingyi said, kicking the zombie that fell to the ground. "I don't know when he followed me here, ambushed in my closet, and wanted to bite me to death."
"Shen Yisui?!" Shen Heng's tone changed. He took a few steps forward and took a closer look. Only then did he see the face of the zombie clearly. "It turned out to be him..."
Cheng Jingyi went to the drawer next to him and rummaged around, but he didn't find anything useful, so he simply tied up Shen Yisui's mouth and hands with the two leather belts that were thrown away.
Shen Yisui: "..."
This was not in their plan. Shen Yisui was silent for a moment, and could only open his mouth under the pretext of covering up.
Cheng Jingyi pinched Shen Yisui's chin with his fingers. Without using much force, he successfully tied up Shen Yisui's teeth.
Shen Heng was watching from the side. His eyes stayed on Shen Yisui for a while and asked, "Brother, Shen Yisui has become a zombie now. Do we still have to go with him?"
Cheng Jingyi tied up Shen Yisui and threw him aside. He found a random seat and sat on a chair. He raised his eyelids and glanced at Shen Heng: "He is a zombie, and so am I."
Shen Heng immediately realized that he had said the wrong thing. He smiled and said, "Brother, I didn't mean that. It's just that Shen Yisui has just become a zombie and is not conscious yet. I am a little worried."
"It's okay. I'll keep an eye on him. He can't make much of a splash right now." Cheng Jingyi said, looking at Shen Heng, "Why did you come here suddenly? I remember you're still injured and can't go out easily."
After hearing this, Shen Heng turned his gaze away from Shen Yisui.
Although Cheng Jingyi did not mention Shen Yisui much in his words, Shen Heng knew very well the relationship between them, and Cheng Jingyi might not want to give up Shen Yisui until now.
Shen Heng secretly clenched his fingertips, looked at Cheng Jingyi, and said with the same expression: "Brother, I was just about to tell you about this. I met my former teammates in another building, and they still have some extra medicine, so you don't have to make another trip for me."
Cheng Jingyi frowned: "Your teammates?"
"Well, he is someone I knew in the army before. He is the adjutant of the team and has always taken good care of me..." Before Shen Heng finished speaking, Cheng Jingyi heard footsteps outside the door.
Two men in black military uniforms walked in from outside. They were about the same height. One of them had a pale face but bright fox eyes. He narrowed his eyes when he saw Cheng Jingyi.
The other man was obviously much more serious, with cold features, slightly furrowed brows, and a pursed lip line, but still a straight face.
Cheng Jingyi could tell the difference between the two men just from their appearance, and guessed that the stern-faced man standing in front should be the adjutant Shen Heng mentioned.
"Brother, I told them about you. Now is a special period, and the adjutants are willing to cooperate with us. But as a condition, we also have to help them return to the East District." Shen Heng glanced at the two people at the door and took two steps back.
Cheng Jingyi sat at the foot of the bed without moving. He always had a bad impression of military people, not to mention that he was now a zombie.
The man standing in the front was also looking at Cheng Jingyi's figure. His eyes slid across Cheng Jingyi and stopped at Shen Yisui who was tied to the closet.
