Chapter 157 Willing to Descend from the Altar
Although Qi Jingchuan felt a little regretful that Li Ran could not stay close to him, he respected Li Ran's choice.

Qi Jingchuan laughed, "Are you bored? How about I take you to visit other departments?"

Qi Jingchuan reached out and touched her head. "Then just focus on writing. I'll take you downstairs for a walk during lunch."
Qi Jingchuan managed his time very well. During lunch, Li Ran was in the midst of a burst of inspiration.
For a writer, nothing is more important than inspiration.
When Qi Jingchuan asked her to have dinner together, she waved at the man without even raising her head.

After coming back, he sat on the sofa and looked at the girl in front of him who was typing hard with tenderness.
About half an hour later, the secretary knocked on the office door carrying an incubator.
Qi Jingchuan took the box at the door and placed the Japanese food in the box on the coffee table.
He wanted to ask Li Ran to come over for dinner, but he was worried that calling her suddenly would interrupt her train of thought.
Another half an hour passed, and Li Ran finally released all his inspiration.
She found that Qi Jingchuan was no longer sitting in the boss chair. Turning back, she found that the man had fallen asleep leaning on the sofa.
Li Ran walked over quietly, half-knelt on the ground and looked at Qi Jingchuan's face carefully.
The sleeping man looked much gentler, with the midday sun shining on his face, making him look like a god in the sky.
Qi Jingchuan was originally a light sleeper, and he woke up the moment Li Ran stood up and walked towards him, but he didn't open his eyes. He wanted to see what Li Ran wanted to do.
Unexpectedly, the girl walked towards him and squatted in front of him, looking at him for so long.
Qi Jingchuan couldn't bear it any longer, he exerted a little force and pulled Li Ran into his arms.
Li Ran was startled. She didn't expect that Brother Jingchuan was awake.
She moved and struggled to get up from Qi Jingchuan's arms.
"Baby, let me hold you for a while. I'm so tired." Qi Jingchuan had no intention of letting go. He acted pitifully with the girl without leaving any trace.
Li Ran calmed down and nestled obediently in Qi Jingchuan's arms.
