Chapter 229 Everyone Evacuated
Li Ran was pushed out by Li Qing. Before closing the door, Qi Jingchuan gave her a look that said "don't worry".

"I heard there is a waterfall on the top of the mountain." said Li Ran.

The two climbed to the waterfall mentioned by the locals under the scorching sun at noon.
As I got closer, I heard the sound of flowing water.
Li Ran quickened his pace and passed through a small forest. A spectacular waterfall appeared in front of them.
The stream water below the waterfall was crystal clear. Lu Yuzhou washed the green apricots he had brought up along the way by the stream and handed one to Li Ran.
The two of them found a large rock under the shade of a tree and sat down on it.
The wind from the mountains and forests blew on their faces, and the air was full of tenderness.
Occasionally, naughty water drops would splash on them, but no one would blame the water drops. Instead, they would hope that they would be closer to themselves.
Lu Yuzhou simply lay down on the big rock, looking at the mottled sunlight falling on him through the leaves.
