Chapter 6 Shopping

Liu Wenliang thought what Liang Yiyi said made sense. How would he know if he couldn't do it if he didn't try? He went back and asked his family to find a tutor for him so that he could study English well. He also wanted to give his family a surprise!

At this moment, Zhao Gang, standing nearby, grew anxious. "Yiyi, what should I do? I have the worst grades among all of you. Two months of studying is just too much of a stretch." "Don't worry, you'll have it easy. Even though your grades aren't great, you have a special skill," Yiyi said. "What special skill? Computers?" Zhao Gang asked. "Yes, you're great with computers. Most hackers can't match you. And if you just study harder in the hacking field, I think you shouldn't have any trouble being designated a special student." Zhao Gang loved playing computer games. To improve his equipment, he'd even designed a small piece of software. Once installed, his equipment would drop off like a whirlwind. He was also skilled at hacking accounts and cracking passwords, especially at cracking them incredibly quickly. He hadn't been taught anything, and he learned it all on his own.

Not to mention Yi Yi's words, it seemed as if they had opened up a different path for the group, and it also made them realize that none of them were stupid, they were just a little too playful. No one had ever disciplined them before, but now Yi Yi's words instantly ignited their fighting spirit, and they all wanted to work hard and achieve something. They couldn't let their parents at home look down on them.

Zhang Juan looked at her good friend and felt a surge of emotion. Yi Yi had changed so much after her hospitalization, not only in her appearance but also in her tone when she spoke. That confidence made Zhang Juan feel as if anything she said could be accomplished. Little did Zhang Juan know, she wasn't the only one feeling this way; the others felt the same way, believing that as long as they listened to Yi Yi, nothing was impossible.

A few people chatted about their future plans in the living room for a while. It was almost noon and Ming Huixin wanted to keep them for lunch. They were all anxious about their studies and left in a hurry without staying. Before leaving, Liang Yiyi informed them that they would gather in the courtyard garden at 5 o'clock tomorrow morning to exercise. They should exercise every day without interruption. Zhang Juan pouted and asked, "Yiyi, I'm not going to the military academy, so I don't have to exercise, right? It's so painful to get up so early every day. I can't even wake up." "No, you have to come. Don't you think about it? After you go to college, you will be separated from us. No one will be there to protect you. If you encounter something, you won't be able to run, let alone fight. What will you do then? No one has it as well as you have it. No one can do it as well as you can. You should exercise well for a while. You should also learn some fighting skills and self-defense techniques to be prepared for any eventuality." Liang Yiyi retorted seriously. Zhang Juan fell silent. She felt Liang Yiyi's words made sense. After going to college, everyone would most likely be separated. She really needed to learn something to protect herself. Who knew what might happen? Zhang Juan didn't know, but because of what she learned from Liang Yiyi's words, she would save her life.

When the people nearby heard that even the delicate Zhang Juan had to get up early to exercise, they wondered if they, a group of grown men, were not as good as a girl. So they didn't say anything and went back quickly.

After seeing off Liu Wenliang and his group, Liang Yiyi and her family enjoyed a heartwarming lunch. Then, she found an excuse to return to her room. Arriving in her room, she carefully observed the changes in herself following the cleansing of her meridians and marrow. First, she felt her body feel incredibly light, as if she could leap high with just a little effort. Second, her hearing had improved. Previously, she could hear sounds within fifty meters, but now her hearing had doubled. Then, her eyesight was even better. She could even see the clear lines of leaves on a poplar tree fifty meters from her window. And that was just after taking the elixir. If she practiced martial arts in the future, who knew how much stronger her five senses would become! Thinking of this, Yiyi was truly grateful to God for giving her this chance to be reborn, to live in such a warm family, and to fulfill her dreams from her previous life. She thought of the small empty space in her space again. She wondered what she could do with it. She would have to experiment to find out, and also see if she could bring in any living creatures.

Liang Yiyi did it as she thought. She rummaged through the bedside table. In her memory, the original owner's wallet was placed in the bedside table. Sure enough, there was a wad of cash, about five or six thousand, and two bank cards, placed in a simple black wallet. Liang Yiyi thought this bag was too ugly, but she could only use it now. The original owner's appreciation level was too poor, and she had to buy many things again. Liang Yiyi took the wallet, closed the drawer, turned around and left the room.

When they got downstairs, Ming's mother had already gone back to her room to rest, and everyone else had their own things to do. Liang Yiyi went to the nanny's room and told Aunt Zhang that she was going out and would be back soon.

After leaving the compound, Liang Yiyi took a taxi and headed straight to the mall. First, she had to choose some clothes that would suit her, buying everything from head to toe. Liang Yiyi used to hate shopping, so she only tried on underwear once in a lingerie store. After finding her size, she looked at other clothes, found the style she liked, swiped her card, and left, leaving everyone in the mall exclaiming how straightforward she was at shopping. After buying the clothes and shoes she needed, she gave the mall staff her address and asked them to deliver them to her door, as she wouldn't have been able to carry them herself otherwise. There were so many things that it would probably take her an hour to unpack them. Speaking of swiping cards, the original owner was quite eccentric. She set her bank card password to six ones, probably because her name was Yiyi, so the password was so simple.

After leaving the mall, Liang Yiyi headed straight for the flower and bird market. There, she bought seeds for two vegetables, cucumber and cabbage, and a small bag of rice seeds—not much, since it was just for experiments, so she wouldn't need many. After buying the seeds, Liang Yiyi went to a pet store and bought a small golden turtle. She found a secluded spot with the items, looked around, and seeing no one around, she touched her ring tattoo, intending to go in. She did, and so did the seeds, but not the turtle. She immediately exited the dimension, realizing that while inanimate objects could be brought into the dimension, living things couldn't. Liang Yiyi was thankful that the turtle she bought was small and easy to care for, otherwise she would have worried about how to keep it alive.

Liang Yiyi came out of the flower and bird market. Seeing that it was getting late, he didn't want to worry his family back home, so he didn't go shopping anymore and took a taxi home. The taxi stopped outside the compound, and Yiyi walked into the compound. He happened to run into his second brother who was returning from get off work. Liang Wenyu parked the car and asked Yiyi, "Why didn't you let your second brother accompany you when you went out? You're just getting well, what will you do if you're tired without someone around?" Liang Yiyi smiled and said, "Don't worry, second brother, I'm fine. I just went shopping and bought some clothes. The mall sent them back. I also bought a little turtle to keep for fun."
