Chapter 19 Coming of Age Ceremony (1)

When Li Mu, Wang Dali, and the others went outside, they found five bodyguards standing on each side of the teaching office.

Li Mu and Li Yi remained unfazed by the display of force, their expressions indifferent.

Qin Luochen huddled up like a quail inside the house, only relaxing after she went outside.

Wang Dali and his companions looked fearful, feeling that these bodyguards were all fierce and menacing.

The refined-looking man from the Academic Affairs Office glanced at Principal Liu, seemingly relieved that there was no more drama to watch, and walked out with a smile.

Principal Liu and the Dean of Students both exhaled at the same time. It was terrifying; the room felt chilly.

The head of the teaching department looked at Principal Liu and asked, "Principal, who exactly is that person? He has such a powerful aura."

Principal Liu glanced at the Dean of Students, stepped forward, patted him on the shoulder, and said earnestly, "He's probably in a good mood today. You're lucky. His name is Qin Yin."

The head of the teaching department turned pale again, and stammered, unable to speak.

When Mi Xi heard that Wang Dali had led a group to attack Li Mu, she thought to herself that she must give him a good beating, preferably leaving him half-dead and crippled.

But who knew that not long after, Wang Dali came back looking disheveled.

Mi Xi looked surprised. "Brother Dali, what's going on?"

I was trying to help you get revenge, but we ended up getting beaten up too. But it's okay, I'll bring more people next time. After saying that, he walked away dejectedly.

Mi Xi ran forward, took a Band-Aid out of her pocket, and stuck it on Wang Dali's eye.

Wang Dali's heart skipped a beat, his ears turned red, and he scratched his head in embarrassment.

Seeing Wang Dali's expression, Mi Xi felt extremely satisfied.

Wang Dali glanced at Mi Xi, said "I'm leaving now," and hurriedly ran away.

Mi Xi's three cronies gathered around and pushed her away from the school.

Li Mu and the other two walked out of the school gate and drove away from the school.

When Li Mu returned home, she saw Li Hongyun sitting in the living room. Li Hongyun immediately called out to her when he saw her.

Li Hongyun said, "The day after tomorrow is your eighteenth birthday, which is also your coming-of-age ceremony. I'm going to throw a big party. I've already made all the arrangements. The day after tomorrow is Saturday, and I've booked the entire Qin Family Hotel. All you need to do is attend."

Li Mu was deeply moved by everything Li Hongyun had done for him, and not wanting to disappoint his father's good intentions, he readily agreed.

Mi Xi witnessed the whole process, feeling both envious and jealous. She obediently stepped forward and called him "Dad," then looked at Li Mu, wondering if her sister's coming-of-age ceremony was the day after tomorrow. She was truly happy for her sister.

Li Hongyun was also pleased to see Mi Xi's sincere blessings. He said that when Mi Xi comes of age, Dad will give her an unforgettable coming-of-age ceremony.

Mi Xi felt much better after hearing Li Hongyun's words.

Li Mu didn't want to look at Dao Mi Xi; he was afraid he wouldn't be able to resist the urge to kill him. He couldn't act impulsively because there were many mysteries from his past life, and he couldn't act rashly until those mysteries were completely solved. So he said something and went upstairs.

Saturday arrived quickly, and it was Li Mu's coming-of-age ceremony.

A dazzling array of luxury cars, each costing millions, were parked in front of the Qin Family Hotel. Today was the coming-of-age ceremony for the eldest daughter of the Li family, the second most powerful family in China.

Countless elders from prominent and wealthy families brought their children to the hotel to celebrate for Miss Li.

The reason for bringing her daughter was that if her daughter became friends with Li Mu, she would have a chance to get closer to Li Yi, who was also known for being a young and promising top computer talent at a young age.

The reason for bringing their son was that if Miss Li took a liking to them, their family could be tied to the Li family, not to mention that Miss Li was the most beautiful woman in the entire capital!

Moreover, he is a renowned business genius; acquiring him is a sure win.

Ling Hao was the only one from the Ling family to come this time. He was wearing a white suit and white leather shoes and sat to one side, exchanging glances with Mi Xi beside him.

Mi Xi tugged at Ling Hao's tie, her face full of coquettishness, "Brother Hao, didn't you say you only love me?" Her tone revealed a hint of disappointment.

Ling Hao immediately coaxed in a low voice, "Be good, once I get the Li family, I'll divorce him. I only love you, but I'll charge some interest."

Mi Xi's eyes darted around as if she had thought of something. Her face flushed, and she leaned close to Ling Hao's ear, whispering seductively, "Come with me." Then she got up and left.

Ling Hao smiled knowingly as he watched Mi Xi's retreating figure walk ahead.

Mi Xi walked to a deserted corner that was also a blind spot for surveillance cameras, and Ling Hao followed her.

In this dark corner, the two of them bit and nibbled at each other. Gradually, Ling Hao was no longer satisfied with just their lips and teeth. He kneaded the still well-developed soft flesh with one hand, while the other hand reached down. Mi Xi let out a soft "hmm".

Mi Xi sensed that Ling Hao's hand, which was placed below her, was about to make another move, so she quickly stopped him with her hand.

He shook his head, and Hao-gege's pitiful voice came out.

Ling Hao looked at Mi Xi, who was leaning weakly against him, and smiled smugly.

Without much hesitation, he pulled his hand away from Mi Xi.

Mi Xi felt a little disappointed. Hao-gege's voice was soft as he wrapped his arms around Ling Hao's waist.

On the surface, Ling Hao patiently coaxed her, "Xixi, be good. After today, I'll deal with the Li family as soon as possible and we'll be together. I promise I'll keep my word." He then turned and left, looking somewhat reluctant to leave.

Mi Xi felt somewhat relieved after hearing Ling Hao's repeated assurances, and straightened her clothes before returning to the banquet.

When Mi Xi returned to her seat, she ran into Zhou Qi, Sun Qian, and Murong Xiao, who had arrived at the banquet. The three of them saw Mi Xi and sat down next to her.
