Chapter 21 Eye-Catching

Ling Hao followed Li Mu to the elevator and found himself feeling extremely hot. He realized he was probably too eager to possess Li Mu's body, so he quickly pressed the button for the elevator next to him and went upstairs.

Li Mu caught a glimpse of Ling Hao behind him out of the corner of his eye, a wicked smile spreading across his face. He continued walking as if nothing had happened, stopping at a suite, scanning his keycard, and pushing open the door to go inside.

Later, Ling Hao saw Li Mu standing at the door of a room and immediately edited the room number and sent it to Mi Xi.

Just as Li Mu was about to close the door, he quickly used his foot to stop it and rushed inside.

As soon as Li Mu opened the door and went in, she immediately pressed herself against the wall. Ling Hao pushed the door open and rushed in so forcefully that he didn't see Li Mu behind him. Li Mu didn't stand on ceremony and stepped out of the room, closing the door behind her.

Inside the door, Ling Hao kept pulling on the doorknob, feeling unbearably hot all over. His consciousness was hazy, and all he knew was that he had been tricked by Li Mu.

In her past life, Li Mu was drugged by Ling Hao. After Li Mu regained consciousness, Ling Hao told her that he didn't know he had also been drugged and that he would take responsibility for her. Before their marriage, Ling Hao also doted on her, making Li Mu fall completely in love with him.

Thinking of this, Li Mu shook his head with a bitter smile. He was really stupid in his past life, only to find out the truth when he died.

Li Mu looked at the access card in his hand and smiled.

The guest rooms at the Qin Family Hotel require key cards to be scanned both inside and outside. I casually tossed the key card aside.

Li Mu walked briskly up to the presidential suite on the twelfth floor, changed his clothes leisurely, and then went downstairs.

Meanwhile, Mi Xi received a text message from Ling Hao and rushed to the room number 1101 that Ling Hao had sent her, wanting to take some photos to blackmail Li Mu.

Mi Xi pushed and knocked on the door, but no one answered her.

Seeing the key card on the ground out of the corner of her eye, Mi Xi picked it up, swept it across the door, and the door opened. Before Mi Xi could even feel surprised, she was pulled inside.

The door closed again.

Then Mi Xi saw that Ling Hao was the only person in the room.

Why aren't Brother Hao and Sister Li Mu here?

Ling Hao didn't answer, panting heavily.

Seeing this, Mi Xi sensed something was wrong and tried to turn around and run away.

Who knew that Ling Hao would not give her any chance and directly hold Mi Xi down and start tearing at her clothes. At this time, Ling Hao had completely lost consciousness, unbuckled his belt and started playing cards with Mi Xi.

Downstairs in the banquet hall, Li Mu changed his clothes and entered the crowd. Mi Lan hurriedly walked over, pulled Li Mu to a corner, and asked coldly, "Where did my Xi Xi go?"

Li Mu smiled and said, "Don't you know Mi Xi better than I do?"

Hearing this, Mi Lan felt a chill in her heart.

She didn't show her face at the entire coming-of-age ceremony, but she was behind the scenes doing the dirty work. However, Mi Xi and Li Mu went in and reappeared at the banquet unharmed, while her own daughter was nowhere to be seen. Thinking of this, Mi Lan felt even colder.

Mi Lan and Mi Xi secretly reached a cooperation agreement: Ling Hao wanted Li Mu's body, while Mi Lan and Mi Xi wanted Li Mu's reputation ruined.

Mi Lan hurriedly went out.

Then came Li Mu's kind voice from behind, "Don't go to the wrong place, it's 1101!"

Upon hearing the sound, Mi Lan became even more anxious and quickened her pace.

Li Mu was in a great mood, skipping and jumping around. But when she thought of Mi Xi and Ling Hao, she couldn't help but shudder. She couldn't think about it, it was too much for her eyes.

She only realized what was happening when she stepped into the banquet hall, quickly changing her expression and suppressing her inappropriate lapse, returning to her dignified and elegant demeanor.

Still feeling uncertain, Li Mu looked around. Only when he saw that no one was watching him did he feel relieved and walked confidently towards Qin Luochen. When he arrived, he found that Qin Luochen and Li Yi were nowhere to be found.

That uncle, oh no, Uncle Qin, was looking at him with his ever-smiling face.

Qin Yin looked at Li Mu and asked curiously, "Little girl, what's making you so happy? Tell me so I can be happy too."

Li Mu said, "I might be causing you a little trouble, Uncle Qin."

Qin Yin's smile reached his eyes. "I'm not afraid of trouble at all. I think I should be called Qin Troublesome."

Li Mu smiled slightly, pursing her lips.

Qin Luochen and Li Yi, who were standing nearby, happened to hear what Qin Yin said, and Qin Luochen was almost shocked.

You should know that his own uncle had never truly smiled; Qin Yin's smile never reached his eyes.

When Qin Yin saw Qin Luochen return, the smile in his eyes disappeared. Qin Luochen rubbed her eyes and looked at Qin Yin, thinking that she was seeing things.

"Yes, I must have seen it wrong," Qin Luochen said confidently.

The phone rang, and Qin Yin answered it. He glanced at Li Mu out of the corner of his eye after hearing what was said on the other end. He replied casually, "Ignore it."

When Li Mu saw Qin Yin glance at him, he immediately looked up at the ceiling and avoided meeting Qin Yin's gaze.

Qin Luochen asked curiously, "Uncle, what's the matter? Why did you have to come here?"

Qin Yin looked at Qin Luochen, and Qin Luochen immediately shut up.

Qin Yin got up and left the banquet.

Looking at Qin Luochen's timid face, Li Yi felt a pang of sympathy.

At the banquet, wealthy wives from prominent families kept recommending their children to Li Mu. Li Mu had to deal with one group after another. When he turned around, he saw his younger brother looking at him with pleading eyes.

Despite seeing her older sister's plight, Li Yi remained unfazed, bent down to pick up a glass of red wine, and turned to stand further away.

Qin Luochen almost spat out her drink when she saw Li Yi's actions and then looked at Li Mu. She picked up her red wine and walked away a bit. She knew she was a member of the Qin family, and those rich ladies would probably come over if they knew her identity. Qin Baobao was very scared.

Li Mu was furious when he saw the two guys who weren't with him. He had to find a way out on his own. He took the opportunity to break free from the encirclement. Because he was angry about their disloyalty earlier, he didn't look for them. He left the banquet hall and walked to the hotel garden, where he found a chair in a corner and sat down.

Qin Yin heard footsteps and turned around to find it was the little girl, Li Mu.

Qin Yin had been bored, so he went to the garden and lit a cigarette, intending to smoke quietly. But coincidentally, Li Mu also went to the depths of the garden to find some peace and quiet.

Because of the lush vegetation in the garden, Qin Yin was smoking and leaning against a tree. Li Mu had a good sense of direction, and the tree perfectly concealed Qin Yin.

Qin Yin tilted his head to look at Li Mu, who was sitting in the chair.

As Li Mu truly recalled the events of his past life, a chill emanated from him, and he began to tremble involuntarily, his hands clenching unconsciously.

Qin Yin looked into Li Mu's eyes and saw that they didn't have the look of a girl her age; instead, they seemed to belong to someone who had experienced hardship and death.

Qin Yin looked at the little girl in front of him with even more curiosity.
