Chapter 13 Calling Parents for the First Time

Teacher Wu’s office!

"Du Chen, what's wrong with you today? Are you crazy? What do you want to do? Do you want to kill someone?" Teacher Wu looked at the four or five people standing in front of him, and his head hurt so much that he was angry.

"Speak! If a student hadn't come to find me, I wouldn't have known you were so powerful and had a weapon. What do you want to do? Do you want to beat me up too?" Seeing Du Chen not saying anything, Teacher Wu became even angrier. He was usually a very well-behaved child, but she didn't expect him to do such a crazy thing today. If she hadn't arrived in time to stop him, she would have beaten Du Chen to death.

In fact, how could Du Chen do that? After all, Linghun is a man who is almost forty years old. When he hit him just now, Du Chen didn't use too much force. It would hurt, swell, and bruise, but it would definitely not cause any serious injuries.

"Teacher, I'm not wrong. You can ask them." After watching Teacher Wu calm down a little after scolding him twice, Du Chen opened his mouth to answer.

Teacher Wu glared at Du Chen, then looked at the four hooligans standing beside him and said, "Which class are you from? What's going on? Tell me!"

The four people did not dare to hide anything and told Teacher Wu the truth about what happened. They looked at Du Chen from time to time, their eyes full of fear. It was obvious that they were scared by Du Chen.

"Well! You little naughty kids, you dare to snatch money from your classmates and even hit them! I think you don't want to go to school anymore! Come on, tell me what you want to do, you are so rebellious!" Teacher Wu slammed the table and scolded Hao Bing and the other two. The other teachers in the office were also furious.

"Teacher Zhang, please help me call their fifth-grade class two teacher over to see how to solve this problem." After calming down, Teacher Wu said to the female teacher next to him.

"Okay, Mr. Wu, calm down. I'll go find it right away."

Teacher Zhang, who just graduated this year and started working, is pretty, gentle, and shy. In her previous life, she taught math to Du Chen and his classmates, and is very popular among them. Although she is shy, her classmates are very obedient. It turns out that appearance is king.

"Du Chen, tell me, how should we handle this?" Teacher Wu was still very angry.

"Teacher, this is not over yet. I'm going to tell my parents! I'm also going to call the police! They're blackmailing us!" Du Chen said firmly.

"What? You want to call the parents and the police?" Teacher Wu asked in surprise.

Teacher Wu hadn't expected Du Chen to say that. She'd actually been planning to call the parents because what happened today was truly egregious: a brawl in the hallway and a robbery. Of course, calling Du Chen's parents was to appease them. Although it was Du Chen who had hit the other one and Hao Bing who had been hit, Du Chen was three years younger than them, and it was four against one. Du Chen was in her class and a good student, so Teacher Wu was definitely on Du Chen's side.

"Oh, look how scared this child is. He actually asked to call his parents and even called the police. It seems that he was scared enough today. He was beaten so hard at that time because he was probably stunned." Teacher Wu thought to himself, and became even angrier when he looked at the four students next to him.

Just as Teacher Wu was about to speak, a male teacher walked into the office, followed by Teacher Xiao Zhang. It seemed that he was the head teacher of Class 2, Grade 5.

"Oh, Teacher Wu, I'm sorry. These bad guys in our class have caused you trouble again." It seems that this teacher has already discussed the situation with Teacher Xiao Zhang on the way.

"No, no, Teacher Zhang, it's not your fault, but I have to trouble you to come over and see how to deal with this matter." Teacher Wu said politely.

"I think we can only call the parents, call both parents over to talk, and then let them do the inspection."

Teacher Wu and Teacher Zhang don't have any other solutions. Generally speaking, they can only ask the parents to come over for a talk, ask them to be stricter in their daily lives, and then ask them to write a self-criticism. There is no other good method.

"That's what I thought. Let's call both sets of parents over first."

"That's it for today. You guys, ask your parents to come to school at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. Do you hear me?" said Teacher Zhang from Class 2, Grade 5.

"Teacher, I don't agree. I want to call the police!" Du Chen said after Teacher Zhang finished speaking.

"Why call the police? That's enough! You haven't resolved the fight yet, and you're calling the police?" Teacher Zhang said somewhat unhappily. He felt that a fight between children was nothing, and that it could be resolved. Calling the police was a bit excessive.

"They wanted to beat me up and steal my money. This is extortion! Why can't I call the police?" It seemed that Teacher Zhang wanted to settle the matter peacefully, so Du Chen was unhappy and started to retort.

"You..." Teacher Zhang was speechless after being confronted by Du Chen.

This was the first time that Teacher Wu saw Du Chen being so stubborn.

The two teachers were at their wit's end, so they called the class together and asked them to find a few parents to come to school first. As for calling the police, they decided to wait until the parents arrived. It seemed that no one could leave work until this matter was dealt with today. Teacher Zhang also gave his class a fierce look. He didn't have much resentment towards Du Chen. After all, Du Chen was also a victim. He also knew that calling the parents was useless. These bad students might stop people on the way home from school again. He also figured that since they were going to make a fuss, they might as well solve it once and for all, otherwise he would have trouble in the future.

The office was very quiet and no one was talking. Du Chen, Hao Bing and others were standing against the wall. Du Chen was very relaxed, but he was still thinking about how to behave later. To be honest, Du Chen was a little annoyed of always pretending to be a child. He might as well take this opportunity to let his parents see a different side of him, so that his parents would be more receptive to his opinions in the future.

Du Chen was thinking about his own things when he saw a group of parents coming into the office door, including his own parents.
