Chapter 1032 Fighting

Wen Yiran happened to be in a meeting and did not receive Wang Ma's call.

An hour later, Wen Yuxiang and Wen Yulun hurried home and found Feng Xueying had already woken up.

The ambulance came and left. After Feng Xueying woke up, she felt that she was fine and refused to go to the hospital.

When Wang Ma called, she was nervous and her speech was somewhat incoherent. The Wen Yuxiang brothers only knew that Feng Xueying had fallen and fainted. They had no idea that Feng Xueying had been pushed by Wen Ziyun.

Wen Yulong also came back. Seeing that Feng Xueying was fine, Wen Yulong complained to Wang Ma a few words, saying that Wang Ma shouldn't have made a fuss and called all the brothers back.

Wen Yulong hadn't returned home since Wu Xiuli was sentenced. He resented his parents for kicking him and his wife out. He felt that Wu Xiuli had accepted bribes from the uniform supplier because she was broke. After all, the past six months had been a world of difference between Wen Yulong and Wu Xiuli's lives. Fortunately, Wen Ziyun and his sister didn't have to live with him. Otherwise, Wen Yulong's monthly salary wouldn't have been enough to cover the family's expenses if he rented an apartment.

Wen Yulong complained to Wang Ma, who kept her head down and didn't dare say anything. It wasn't that she was afraid of him, but she didn't want to argue with him. As the Wen family's housekeeper, Wang Ma had her own principles. She called the Wen brothers because she felt she owed them a heads-up. Whether they appreciated it or not, Wang Ma didn't care much.

Feng Xueying felt a little disheartened by Wen Yulong's behavior. But as a mother, she couldn't get angry with him over such a trivial matter. Parents' concerns usually favored their children who were not doing well. Wen Yulong had been experiencing some kind of bad luck over the past few years, and his fortunes were getting worse with each passing year. Feng Xueying felt pity for her eldest son and his family, so she naturally didn't hold it against him.

On the contrary, Feng Xueying was afraid that her second and youngest sons would come after Wen Yulong and his son, affecting the relationship between the brothers, so she did not dare to tell the truth to her two sons. Feng Xueying planned to tell Wen Yiran about this matter privately, and then have Wen Yiran call Wen Yulong and his son home to give them a good scolding.

In the bedroom, Feng Xueying was already lying on the bed, directing Wang Ma to clean up. Therefore, the Wen Yuxiang brothers thought Feng Xueying had accidentally fallen, but seeing that Feng Xueying was not seriously injured and they were busy with their work, the brothers stayed for an hour or so and then left.

After the Wen brothers left, Mother Wang went to take care of her own business.

At twelve o'clock noon, Wang Ma prepared dinner and went upstairs to call Feng Xueying to eat. Seeing that Feng Xueying was sleeping with her eyes closed, she did not disturb her.

At one o'clock in the afternoon, Wang Ma went upstairs to check on Feng Xueying again. She found Feng Xueying sleeping in bed without changing her position, and her face was a little grayish-blue. Wang Ma was a little worried, so she went closer and found that Feng Xueying was dead.

Mother Wang was so frightened that she quickly called Wen Yiran and Wen Yuxiang respectively.

When Wen Ziqing returned home, Feng Xueying had already been taken away by the funeral home's car.

"Ziqing, your grandmother is gone. She told me yesterday that she had done a lot of wrong things in her life and was too cold to you in the past few years. She would be extra nice to you in the future." When Wen Yiran saw Wen Ziqing, he quickly grabbed his hand and started crying like a child.

"Well, I know grandma is good to me. Grandpa, don't be sad." Wen Ziqing tried his best to comfort Wen Yiran, and he was lying with his eyes open, which was what he did now.

Wen Ziqing was very open-minded. In both of his previous lives, he had always been someone with shallow kinship. Although Feng Xueying wasn't close to him, she had "saved" him, freeing him from Wu Xiuli's control. Otherwise, if Wen Ziqing had continued to be raised by Wu Xiuli, he might have died at some point!

Feng Xueying was Wen Ziqing's biological grandmother, and her personality was just that: Wen Yiran was the only one she cared about besides herself. Of her three sons, Feng Xueying was closest to Wen Yulun and held Wen Yulong in the highest regard. Of her grandchildren, Feng Xueying wasn't just cold toward Wen Ziqing; her treatment of the others wasn't much better. Ironically, Feng Xueying's favorite grandson over the years was still Wen Ziyun.

"Ziqing, I... whenever I think about not being able to see your grandma for the last time, my heart... my heart aches." Wen Yiran didn't want to cry anymore, but he couldn't help but let his tears flow. The old woman was gone, and his heart felt like a piece had been hollowed out.

"Ziqing, your grandfather can't cry anymore. He's been crying for more than two hours. If he continues like this..." Wen Yuxiang leaned over to Wen Ziqing and whispered softly. He didn't finish the rest of the sentence, but Wen Ziqing knew it was the three words "harming his health".

Wen Ziqing had lived with Wen Yiran and his wife for more than ten years and knew that they had a good relationship, but he never imagined that Feng Xueying's departure would bring Wen Yiran such great pain.

Humans have seven emotions and six desires, and extreme joy and sorrow can cause some damage to the body. Excessive sadness can damage the lungs, and lung damage can deplete Qi. Excessive sadness can disrupt the Qi and blood functions of the internal organs, leading to illness.

Wen Ziqing raised his hand and gently stroked Wen Yi's neck.

Wen Yiran's body softened and he fainted in Wen Ziqing's arms. After a while, he began to snore.

When Wen Ziqing sent Wen Yiran to the guest room and settled him down, he returned downstairs and found that the living room was in a mess.

"Stop hitting me, second uncle and younger uncle, please don't hit my dad, wuwuwu..." Wen Ziqiu cried anxiously.

"Wen Ziqiu, are you blind? My dad didn't hit my uncle at all. It was my uncle and my younger uncle fighting, and my dad was trying to stop them, okay?" Wen Ziling glanced at Wen Ziqing who was coming down the stairs and became anxious.

Wen Ziling was a very smart person. She knew the terrifying fighting power of her eldest cousin Wen Ziqing. No matter how unreasonable Wen Yulong was, he was still her eldest cousin's biological father after all!

If Wen Ziqing misunderstood and thought they were helping Wen Yulong, Wen Yuxiang and Wen Yulun would be beaten to a pulp.

Wen Ziqing glanced at Wen Ziling and stood aside without saying a word.

Wen Ziqing hated Wen Yulong deeply. He'd seen through it all: Wen Yulong was a complete jerk. From the time he was born until now, he'd never taught him a single lesson about how to behave. Previously, Wen Ziqing had assumed Wen Yulong disliked him, hence his neglect. Now, Wen Ziyun had grown into such a distorted state, yet Wen Yulong remained completely oblivious. He wondered if he was simply too careless, or simply unconcerned with anything beyond career advancement and wealth.

Wen Ziqiu glanced at Wen Ziqing a few times, wanting to ask him to help separate the three people fighting in a group, but he didn't dare to say it out loud. Wen Ziqing, with a cold face and silent expression, still had a very intimidating aura.
