Mrs. Dylan had just come from Julie's place when she heard this, her face changed drastically, and she couldn't believe it. "Are you sure it's her?"
“It’s her. This princess is no simpleton. She caused quite a stir at the ball at my house in the spring. You should check the surveillance footage right away. I suspect she’s already taken action.” Miao Tianxiang sneered.
She hasn't settled that score yet; now we can settle the final score together!
Mrs. Dylan, of course, believed her; they had known each other for over a decade. A box popped into her mind; when she left, the box was on the table, open, but Julie hadn't changed her clothes yet.
She said she had been resting the whole time. If she hadn't changed her clothes, why was the suitcase opened?
"That little bitch even fooled me! I checked the surveillance footage again, and they only deleted the first half hour of footage." Mrs. Dylan was both angry and annoyed. She had been tricked by a little girl. How hateful!
"You go check the surveillance footage, I'll go visit that little bitch," Miao Tianxiang said, having come up with an idea.
They split up to prevent Julie from having any chance to tamper with things.
After Mrs. Dylan left, Julie took out her computer again, intending to delete the surveillance footage of her drugging the woman. However, just as she entered the surveillance network, there was another knock on the door, forcing Julie to put her computer away once more.
Miao Tianxiang arrived and immediately offered her concern upon entering, "Is Your Highness alright? Let me see... You seem to be in good spirits. I just asked the doctor, and he said you'll be back to normal by tomorrow, and it won't affect Your Highness's delicate skin."
Madam Wu couldn't help but say, "Madam Miao, it was Miss Ye Qingqing who poisoned the princess. It's utterly inexplicable. I will not let this matter rest."
“Nanny…” Julie called out, her expression somewhat displeased.
Madam Wu said solemnly, "Princess, you are too kind. This matter is too serious. I will handle it. I also need to report to His Majesty the King. You don't need to worry about it."
Julie sighed, looking torn between two options. Miao Tianxiang watched coldly as the mother and daughter put on their own act, a performance more skillful than any Oscar-winning actress.
“I understand Madam Wu’s concern for Her Highness the Princess, but we must thoroughly investigate the truth of tonight’s events. Your Highness, am I right?”
Miao Tianxiang smiled slightly, but her deep gaze made Julie feel a little uneasy. Could it be that this old hag had discovered something?
"What truth? I don't understand what you're saying, madam. Did anything else happen tonight?" Julie feigned ignorance.
Miao Tianxiang sneered inwardly. She avoided answering and looked at the box on the table. It was still half open, but Julie was still wearing that wet dress. She had been in there for half an hour and still hadn't changed out of her wet clothes. What had she been doing for the past half hour?
She didn't believe Julie's nonsense about feeling dizzy. She was perfectly fine now, and the doctor said she was fine. The little bitch was just putting on an act again. She was going to expose her tricks today.
"A lot happened tonight, I need to tell Her Highness slowly. Oh dear... I'm getting old and useless, my back and waist are aching, I need to find a stool to sit on for a while."
Miao Tianxiang rubbed her lower back and walked towards the table. There was a chair there. As she got closer to the chair, she deliberately stumbled, bumped into the table, and swayed, almost falling.
"Ah...help me up!"
Miao Tianxiang was so frightened that she flailed her arms and legs, her face turning pale. Julie didn't realize at first that she was acting and thought she was really going to fall. She rushed forward to help her up, and Miao Tianxiang swayed several times before her hand finally 'accidentally' touched the box.
