Lu Mo gave a brief translation of the conversation between Meng Huishan and Dr. Anthony. It was mostly just polite talk, but Meng Huishan had given Dr. Anthony a general overview of Ye Qingqing's situation.
"This is a brain CT scan done yesterday."
Lu Mo handed the CT scan report to Dr. Anthony, speaking in fluent English.
Dr. Anthony looked at the test results and frowned slightly. When he heard Meng Huishan talk about Ye Qingqing's condition, his first thought was that something had grown in her brain.
But the CT scan results showed nothing, so Dr. Anthony was still not reassured. "Let's do another scan."
He felt that other hospitals' equipment was too outdated and would miss some crucial factors.
Meng Yifan Hospital has the most advanced equipment in the world. If the examination shows that Ye Qingqing has no growths in her brain, then the possibility of a tumor can be ruled out.
Lu Mo and Ye Qingqing underwent a series of examinations under the guidance of the nurse, and the morning passed by in a flash.
Fortunately, thanks to Meng Huishan, the eldest daughter of the Meng family, the test results were available on the same day.
Dr. Anthony looked through all the test results, his expression growing increasingly puzzled.
He checked every possible factor that could cause blindness, but all the results came back normal.
They didn't even have any symptoms of anemia.
Ye Qingqing is in excellent health, and from any perspective, it is impossible for her to go blind.
Dr. Anthony, who has extensive clinical experience, was completely baffled by Ye Qingqing's situation.
"Dr. Anthony, what's wrong with my friend?" Meng Huishan asked.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what happened."
Dr. Anthony is an honest man who is not burdened by his reputation; if he doesn't know something, he simply doesn't know it.
“Your friend’s test results are perfectly normal, and there are no causes that could lead to blindness, so I don’t understand it either.”
Dr. Anthony's sincere explanation only confused Meng Huishan and Lu Mo more and more.
“But my friend has indeed gone blind, there must be a reason, right?” Lu Mo asked.
Dr. Anthony nodded vigorously. "Yes, there must be a reason for insomnia, but I can't find it right now."
"Could it be anemia or eye strain?" Lu Mo asked again.
"Impossible. Your friend doesn't have anemia, and eye strain wouldn't cause blindness."
Dr. Anthony shook his head and added, "I suspect it might be caused by some kind of undiscovered fungus. Where has your friend been or what has he come into contact with during this time?"
Something seemed to flash through Lu Mo's mind, but he couldn't grasp it and had to answer Dr. Anthony's question first.
"My friend is either at school or at home, and they have a small dog at home. Could it be because they have a dog?"
Lu Mo thought of a possibility.
Dr. Anthony nodded. "It's also possible that the dog is carrying some kind of bacteria. Have your friend's eye drops checked."
Ye Qingqing was taken by the nurse to have her eye drops collected again. This examination was a bit complicated, and the results couldn't be available that day; they would have to wait until the next day.
“Dr. Anthony said he’ll call us when the results are out. Don’t worry, there will definitely be a way to cure him,” Meng Huishan comforted her.
"Thank you, Sister Huishan, I'm not in a hurry."
Ye Qingqing was no longer in a hurry. At least the possibility of a brain tumor had been ruled out, and her life was no longer in danger!
He Weishao took them home, and then left with Meng Huishan, because Meng Huishan said she wanted to take pictures on Wushan Road, and he naturally had to accompany her.
