Sang Huaiyuan looked at his mother and wife with guilt. He had done right by the government and the people, but he had let down his family. But he really couldn't stop.

The atmosphere was somewhat heavy, so the old lady changed the subject and asked, "How's the inquiry about your aunt's property going?"
“I came back for this matter. My secretary mentioned it to me today, and we’ve made some progress. My aunt’s property was taken away sixteen years ago by someone who claims to be her only true relative,” Sang Huaiyuan said.
“Your aunt’s only true relative is Mingcheng. Could it be that Mingcheng is not dead?” The old lady’s eyes lit up, and she looked delighted.
