The little pig was unhappy. "Dad said Mom works very hard and should get more sleep."
“What hardship could your mother possibly have? She doesn’t do any work. Well, no, she does work at night, so it’s really hard for her…” Wuchen’s voice trailed off. He had to be careful with his words in front of the child, but the little pig’s sharp ears still caught it.
"What kind of work does my mom do at night? Does she farm or weed?" Xiao Hu asked curiously.
Zhu Zi's lips twitched, watching the spectacle with schadenfreude, wondering how Wu Chen would respond.
Wuchen scratched his head, and it took him a while to come up with a reason, "Your mom is busy giving birth to your little brother and sister, and she can't rest at night, so she's tired."
