What Liang Deping was more worried about was his boss's attitude, because he and his boss were college classmates and had a good relationship. His boss always called him Deping and never addressed him as Lawyer Liang in a formal way.
Now, in front of all his colleagues, they call him Attorney Liang, which worries him more than losing the divorce case.
Liang Deping forced a smile. "I'll go to the hospital first, and then I'll hand things over with Attorney Song tomorrow."
"Attorney Liang, don't rush. Your mother's health is the most important thing. Please go quickly." Attorney Song was very polite; he wasn't in a hurry at all.
The boss is a man of his word and rarely goes back on his word, especially in front of so many people. This divorce case is a sure thing for him, so of course he's not in a hurry. It's Liang Deping who should be anxious.
Attorney Song even gloated, saying that Liang Deping's professional skills were mediocre, his private life was messy, but his flattery skills were first-rate. He always took the easy and lucrative cases because of his good relationship with the boss, and he often suppressed the newcomers like them.

Attorney Song was incredibly grateful to Ye Qingqing. This beautiful girl was simply an angel descended from heaven—no, a million times cuter than an angel!
Liang Deping hurriedly left the law firm, his heart burning with anger. He definitely couldn't let go of the divorce case. He would go to the boss again tomorrow to say some nice words and pour out his grievances. He thought that the boss would soften his heart for the sake of their old classmate relationship.
As Ye Qingqing expected, Liang Deping did indeed call his other three siblings as soon as he left the office building.
When Ye Qingqing returned to the hospital, Sister Wang had already woken up and was chatting with Gu Nianci. She seemed to be in good spirits.
"Where have you been? You haven't come back for ages," Gu Nianci asked.
"I went out for a walk. Did the doctor come to check on you? What did he say?"
"They just left. They said they're recovering quite well and even asked me to cook some millet porridge. I'll cook it again tomorrow," Gu Nianci said with a smile.
Sister Wang stammered, "The cafeteria should have it ready-made, there's no need to go through all that trouble."
She was really embarrassed. Gu Nianci was not related to her at all, and she used to always laugh at her. Now, how could she have the face to make Gu Nianci run around doing chores for her?
"The cafeteria food isn't nutritious at all. It's better to cook for yourself. Just focus on getting better, and I'll take care of everything else."
Gu Nianci shook her head repeatedly. She had originally planned to go to the cafeteria to buy food that morning, but after looking around, she found nothing satisfactory. The food was all bland and watery, which wouldn't provide any nutrition, so she went home and made soup instead.
Ye Qingqing interjected, "I just went to see your youngest son. Well... the meeting wasn't very pleasant, but he'll be here in a bit. I reckon you'll be able to see all four of your children tonight."
Sister Wang was stunned for a moment, not understanding why all four of her children could come.
How is that possible?
She hasn't seen her four children together in a long time, three or five years?
Or even longer?
She can't remember anymore, sigh!
Sister Wang wanted to ask more questions when she heard hurried footsteps at the door. The door was pushed open with a bang, and Liang Deping came in first. When he saw Ye Qingqing, his eyes blazed with anger. "That brat dares to come here!"
"Deping, what are you doing? I'm in class right now, and everyone's already paid. Why are you calling me over in such a hurry? You can take care of Mom when she's sick, honestly."
Immediately afterward, a resentful female voice rang out from outside. Ye Qingqing recognized it as her second daughter, the unfilial daughter who was rushing to give her students a piano lesson.
"I just got off the operating table, I haven't even caught my breath yet, and a phone call summoned me here. What happened to Mom?" The other voice was a man's, completely bewildered and not understanding what had happened.
