The next day, Lu Mo went to the company as usual. Since he had promised Ye Qingqing that she would handle it, he decided to leave it to her. He was sure Qingqing would handle such a small matter well.
It was the weekend, so the little pig didn't have to go to school. In the morning, Lu Mo took the little guy to morning training as usual, without making any special arrangements. Lin Shufang complained to Lu Mo a few times, saying that he was heartless, but Lu Mo just pretended not to hear and did what he was supposed to do. His son was not a coward, and there was no need to take a little fright to heart.
Lin Baiwei came back ahead of schedule. Ye Qingqing couldn't keep such a big thing from her, so she called her yesterday. Lin Baiwei didn't say anything on the phone, but immediately booked a flight back this morning and will probably arrive home around noon.
Ye Qingqing had arranged with Xiaohu's mother to have her bring Andy over in the afternoon. She didn't say anything else to Andy. For this, she even gave Xiaohu's mother an hour of special training to make sure she didn't let anything slip. She wanted Xiaohu's mother to see through her nephew's heart, which was even dirtier than a stinking ditch.
Following Ye Qingqing's instructions, Xiaohu's mother specially went to pick up Andy and take him home in the morning. Andy's parents were overjoyed, thinking that their sister had changed her mind and wanted to take their son back to raise him. Before leaving, the couple repeatedly told Andy to behave well and make sure to satisfy his aunt.
At noon, Xiaohu's family had a large table full of fancy dishes, mostly seafood that Andy loved. Xiaohu didn't like seafood; he only liked meat. Andy, on the other hand, loved the more expensive seafood. Xiaohu's mother used to buy it by the box at a time. She was very generous with her nephew, never hesitating to spend money. Today, Xiaohu wasn't home; it was just Xiaohu's mother and Andy.
After Andy returned home, he never ate expensive seafood again, and he barely ate any meat either; he was craving it terribly.
"Auntie, where's Xiaohu?" Andy asked, puzzled.
"Your uncle took you out to eat KFC. You haven't had it for days, and Little Tiger is craving it. Eat more; it's all your favorite food." Little Tiger's mother suppressed her anger, forced a 'kind' smile, and put a large shrimp on Andy's plate.
"Thank you, Auntie."
Andy breathed a sigh of relief. His aunt was still so kind to him, which meant he hadn't been exposed. The annoying little pig and little Jie had also left, leaving only the stupid little tiger. He would just treat it as walking the dog.
"Andy, you really didn't say anything out of line yesterday? Now that Little Pig and Little Jack are both missing, things are serious. You have to tell the truth," Little Tiger's mother said sternly.
"I really didn't make things up. I only passed on a message to Grandma Xiao Jie, and I don't know anything else." Andy looked innocent, but he was overjoyed inside. That annoying little pig was dead, and Xiao Jie was going to live a hard life in the poor mountains. He would never have to see that annoying guy again.
Little Tiger's mother clenched her fists tightly and gritted her teeth. The little bastard acted so realistically that if she hadn't been there yesterday, she would have been completely fooled by him.
"Then why don't you go home?"
Andy lowered his head, feigning a pitiful look, and whispered, "I... I thought my aunt and uncle were still angry with me, so I didn't dare to come back. I just looked around outside and then went back."
Little Tiger's mother peeled another shrimp for him and casually remarked, "Little Pig, he's vanished without a trace, we don't know where he went. Logically, if he was hit by a car, whether he's dead or alive, he should at least leave something behind, sigh!"
As Andy ate the delicious and tender shrimp, he felt as if he had returned to the warm and cozy times of the past. He even thought that he didn't have to go back this time. His aunt was still so good to him, and she made all the dishes he loved. His vigilance relaxed a lot.
Hearing Xiaohu's mother mutter to herself, he subconsciously said, "Maybe the car got stuck."
